Windshield was dirty and covered in dead bugs. Gas tank was at 1/4 tank, which meant I had to fill up before i could do any work. Not an ideal experience. Also, while it didnt cause to much of a delay, my rental was set up as Hand Free, but i had to be driven to a lot where the Truck was stored. After first wandering around to find my truck.

The person on the counter was rude. He was also not prompt and yet charged us an extra 15 minutes for whatever reason. My booking was at 10am. I arrived at about 9:50am and called the phone number posted on his door because he was not in the office. He checked us in at about 10am but complained that I entered the wrong details on u-haul online - I did not... in fact I didn't enter anything but I suspected u-haul online stored details from past reservations but used incompatible data. Regardless he was rude to us for the inconvenience he had to go through entering our information. He then asked us to follow him about a mile down the road to pick up the truck. By then it was way past 10am. Yet he recorder 9:45am as the pick up and drop off next day. This didn't matter to me since I intended to return the truck the same day, but in light of his attitude, this just adds to the overall negative experience.

Made 2 trips to the office, prior to my trip, to make sure the truck would acommodate my move & I could get my questions answered in person. Both Hector & Griffith were very helpful/professional. On the day I picked my truck up, Griffith was very pleasant to work with & made picking the truck up a good experience...the location was very convenient/close to my home.

I completed the mobile drop off on my phone and put the keys in the drop box. As I was walking away the employee began yelling at me for not checking in with him. I told him I completed everything on my phone and put the keys in the box. He continued to yell at me and tell me that is not acceptable and I have to check in with the front desk. What is the point of having a mobile drop off if you have to contact an employee?

After trying to find a U-Haul site four times, I finally found the one in Lincoln. They were awesome. Answered the phone, were on the site, very informative. It was great!!!!!

$1.00 environmental fee is disingenuous at best and is basically a fraudulent charge for what should be included in the rental price as it is overhead and not a spurious "fee." U-Haul should be ashamed of itself for adding such a fee...most people just overlook it and pay it but just know it is noted and leaves a bad taste toward U-Haul corporate.

The rep was beyond rude, like this had to have been in the top 5 worst encounters with a customer service representative in my life. He made me and my friend that was with me very uncomfortable with his mean spirited comments. Apparently I'm supposed to guess when it's too late to add blankets to my order, because he never asked if I wanted to add add-ins, but he was very comfortable letting me know I should have asked a few minutes prior when I mentioned it. He then let me know there would be a $25 fee if I did not fold the blankets upon return. This gentleman clearly does not like his job and takes it out on the customers- I would be shocked if you haven't received similar feedback in the past.

Stop dictacting how long a uhaul should be rented for. If I want a uhaul to move to Vegas in a day I expect equal charges to a day not an algorithm that decides how long it should take me to move

Fast service and clean, however ordered blankets were not available so that's reason for 4 stars but service was good. Attendant without asking even moved adjacent trucks to make it easier to get our truck out of its parking spot.

It was Sunday, so probably weekend staff. He was not rude but seemed uninterested in what he was doing. Gave very vague directions to where the rental truck was and where to return it. When I was ready to bring back the Truck it was 4;45pm and this is in early Feb so it starts getting dark after 5:30 pm, I checked the dash board for the light switch and the light switch button popped into the the dashboard . What a nightmare. No lights! The place closed at 4;00 pm. I was able to somewhat pull the switch back into place temporarily and reported the next day to office where I rented man I spoke to said Ok. That was it, regardless this is a safety situation no head lights.

The customer service person, a heavy-set guy, was not very friendly and had a bit of an attitude. If it were not for this location having the vehicle I needed, I would have gone elsewhere. It is this person alone why I would NOT recommend this location to a friend. However, when checking the vehicle back in I spoke with a nice lady on the phone who was pleasant to work with.

Whoever the manager is at East Avenue Self Storage - he's garbage and absolutely unhelpful. I would never use this location as a drop off nor would I recommend it.

Very friendly people, good value. I rent from here because it works for my purpose, even though I live 100 miles away (taking care of aging parent's property). As such I can't make my pickup time as scheduled with regularity. This poses them a problem it appears, so I just update them. Don't know if there is a way to solve this except for me to take the time to update them. This is not a "problem" really, just a circumstance and it is working out well. I expect to rent from them many more time over the winter and spring.

I called to discuss pickup times and dates several times as our situation was changing due circumstances beyond our control. Finally got there just before noon on Friday only to be informed our reservation had been cancelled because we were more than 2 hours late. A.) We had never been advised of this policy or we would have called B.) Why did THEY not bother to call us to reconfirm? It IS pretty easy to make a phone call...or so my six year old thinks...After that the gentleman checking us out was friendly and competent and all went well. FORTUNATELY they did not rent the trailer our from under us as there were no other covered trailers and we had $300 worth of confirmed hotel reservations waiting for us in Northern California....

I did not understand that the vehicle would only be held for one hour. I thought that I had rented it for the weekend, and did not worry about my pick up time. I got a message that I was an hour late, and that my reservation had been cancelled. I then spent the next 45 minutes (#800) on hold - nd then transferred to two other locations, trying to get my reservation back. When I arrived at the location I had rented from, I was still on hold, and my U-Haul was still sitting in the parking lot. The attendant re-assigned it to me, and I drove it off. Anyway - that was a great deal of wasted time and frustration... when you had my card and my ID and my intention to have the vehicle for 3 days.
