Mileage was calculated wrong, someone reported and extra 60 miles when I returned unit. I was overcharged, I took pics of Mileage going out and returning. I was reimbursed fifty something dollars, so glad I had pictures

Excellent service and communication. Friendly and professional. With some U-Haul dealers the u-haul rental is secondary to the main business, but the folks at Duncan Hardware seem to be laser-focused on customer satisfaction, whether it be the hardware side or rental side. I have used their services many times and will continue to do so. ¡Gracias!

Good Afternoon, Rented the U-Haul truck yesterday from the Ace Duncan location. Immediately upon getting into the truck I took a bunch of pictures because of how obvious some of the damage was all over the truck. I also took pictures of the current odometer reading. Driving the truck from the lot was very disappointing. The brakes felt like the rotors are warped and uneven and pulsates during normal braking. The transmission did not want to shift gears until I physically had to let off the gas pedal to allow it to shift into the proper gear. The a/c hardly blew cold in the 90 degree weather yesterday. All in all, this was a very dissatisfying experience with u-haul. I have used you guys in the past and never have really had an issue with a rental until now. I would have just brought the truck back if I felt it was too unsafe for me to drive but I was also on an extremely tight schedule. I ended up returning the truck before 8:00 pm the same day and was unable to check it back in through the app because the checked out odometer mileage from the store employee was incorrect in which I had to make another trip there this morning to turn in the keys. I explained to him the issues I was having with the truck. He stated that he would “look into it.” I would hope at the rate y'all charge for an in town same day move that I would be able to have access to some newer and safer loving trucks.

Again, Uhaul sent me to the wrong location. Luckily the employee there was able to go around the reservation and accept the truck. Otherwise I'd have to drive the truck across town with 40 cents/mile being added. That feels like a way to get every penny out of your “valued” customer. I was unhappy with that aspect of Uhaul but the individuals that helped me were delightful.

Online check-in experience was horrible. I still had to go into the Ace Hardware to get the key. My reservation was set to start at 8AM, but it was approx. 9AM before i was able to drive the truck off of the lot. Meaning my 8 hour rental is now 7 hours which definitely put us in a time crunch. Upon returning the truck, i followed the the instructions of taking pictures and uploading them. After completing step 4,i pressed "Continue" and it started me back at step 1. This happened twice. So again, I had to go into the store to handle a transaction that should be completed on line. This time i had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes. To do better... start the reservation timetable when the truck pulls off the lot!!!

Henry was great in trying to get us processed quickly, however the internet went down while loading our info and the van we rented was missing a rear door handle so we had to climb over our cargo at every stop to open the doors.

Trailer lights did not work. Rep form store wanted three phone numbers for contact. I have him my home number and cell number. He said he had to have a third number for trailer rental and said he would NOT rent me the trailer without another number such as my wife's contacts? I have him a bogus number and I will never rent from Duncan's ever again. Worst u haul rental of my last three rentals, in the past 6 months.

The gentleman was rude when I dropped off the truck he first told me to stop which was dangerous because my trailer was still in the road then he told me I couldn't leave the truck at this location and to go somewhere else which I couldn't do since I don't know the area I explained this to him and also informed him that I have been on the road for 24 hours he then told me fine leave the truck wherever the f**k you want and walked off.

I always use Ace now for my rentals, the location works perfectly & this is not towards them but the truck I drove breaks were terrible I did make them aware of this.

Be honest with a. Haul rental and don't steal from a elderly poor person. It was not taken out of Berkley county here in s c . was told by employee that rented me the truck. that I get 100 miles I put 90 miles on truck and was charger $ 67.00. For miles that was stealing when I was told I get the first 100 miles . for the rental truck.

I realized the truck was too small so I reached out to exchange the truck but the majority of the locations closed at the same time. One location was opened until 7 pm but no one ever answered my phone call so I wasn't able to bring my full load to Charlotte. I now have to make another trip to Charleston, SC.

The 26ft truck I rented ran awful. It is in SEVERE NEED OF A TUNE UP AND FRONT END ALIGNMENT. I felt like it was going to break down on me in traffic. Staff was very pleasant. I would rent again just not THAT TRUCK.

Don't advertise smart phone pickup without the store check in. It does not exist here I lost several hours of time waiting for the store to open before I got my rental. I may as well walked in off the street and rented. Good thing the location wasn't closed on Sunday I would have lost my entire day and a lot of money. The store knows online check in doesn't work, they told me it happens often.

Right rear tire was down 50 pounds. Vehicle was dirty inside and out. When I went to turn it in the man blew me off telling me I'd get an email. Didn't seem interested in what I had to say about it. It also kept saying it needed an oil change every time I started it. Checked the oil but it seemed fresh. Again, the man didn't seem interested, didn't check the mileage or inspect the vehicle. Just said I'd get an email about the final charges. Had it set up for 1000 miles and I was under that but they didn't verify anything. I sanitized the inside and cleaned all the windows myself.
