I called to see if there was a cargo van available and about how much it rented for. Before I could get that information, I had to give my name, address, phone number, and email address. I felt uncomfortable giving out that information just to ask about their services.

When I made this reservation I specifically asked for a rental from 1401 E County Line Rd location because it's only 3 miles from my house. The person on the other end of the line (not a person at the location I requested mine you) said no problem. Well when I arrived at the 1401 E. County Line Rd location the person behind the desk told me the reservation was for a place about 10 miles away! Lucky they had a van at this location so I didn't have to drive to the other location. That's my only complaint about this reservation.

The rental process takes almost an hour with all sorts of online nonsense with a telephone app, sending pictures of driver's licenses insurance etc. Please just allow your local rep to manage this process just like you used to in times gone by. Ridiculous BS just to rent a truck - I did this in 10 -15 minutes before and will never again mess with this online garbage. The location is top notch and the people are friendly/helpful, so don't blame them for your dumb regulations.

Too far off the beaten path, definitely not convenient. So pay attention to the charge per mile. You will get charged an “after hours charge” even if you turn the truck in, in a timely manner. I’m guessing because my cell wasn’t getting reception in order to “turn on” the location for them to “track” that we actually were on the premises returning the truck well before 10:00p.m. Wasn’t given the vehicle I had reserved either.

The only issue we came across is we ended up putting about $50 more of gas in the truck than we needed to. The gas gauge wasn’t working so we ended up adding more than necessary.

I made a reservation specifically for Boulder. I was willing to take a different size truck. The morning of my reservation Uhaul moved my reservation to another location far away in Erie. I had to pay my helpers significantly more money and pay significantly more milage. I would not have made the reservation if I knew Uhaul would move my reservation outside of Boulder. I lost a lot of money on this.

There was nowhere to drop off our truck, so we had to block the front of the building. We were told to drop off by 8am, but they did not open until 9:30 so we weren’t able to speak with anyone and Uhaul overcharged is for mileage. I do not recommend U-Haul under any circumstances.

The 24-hour pick up did NOT work. Our location services were on, but the link would not register our phone. When we called customer service they said they could not help us. Finally, a kid who was working inside gave us a direct number to his boss (I think he said the regional manager??) and that person checked us out over the phone. If the kid would not have been there to overhear us and give us that number, we would not have been able to get the truck we reserved. Don't say you have 24-hour pick up if it doesn't work!!!!

Super friendly folks at this location. Very clean. I will definitely return to this location for any of my other Uhaul needs.

The location was very good. The vehicle was very good.The U-Haul website worked for making a reservation. We were not notified by the system until 40 minutes after our reservation that a different vehicle would be available at a site 30 minutes away. The reservation system told us that a confirmation would arrive within an hour of making the reservation, but it did not arrive until the next day. Great vehicle, great folks on site, but the automated system left us unimpressed.

First of all, you should kill the TruckShare 24/7 app. The ridiculous volume of mistakes, misinformation, misguided "help" and absurd amount of frustration-inducing phone calls and emails is enough to choke a horse, and make someone never, ever use U-Haul again. Seriously. That app is atrocious. I would use MUCH stronger language, but then you may not take my review seriously. The ONLY saving grace here is the management at the pick-up location, who were kind and generous enough to come OUT OF THEIR HOUSE at 8:45 AT NIGHT to the OPEN THE OFFICE and check the truck out to me via THEIR computer. Simply, and ONLY because of them, I will only rent trucks from the DIRECTLY in the future. For your sake, I hope they don't change from U-Haul. Because if they do, I'll never rent from U-Haul again, and I'll make sure everybody I know hears about my horrendous experience with U-Haul's TruckShare 24/7 app. Social media is a pretty powerful tool, y'know. :)

I could not get in touch with the location. I called from 9:30 to 11 am. They did not answer the phone or return messages. I finally had to drive 30 miles not knowing if the Erie Co. Location was even open.

Incredibly poor customer service. The employee said the appliance dolly was in the truck, get home and it was not, had to keep the hourly movers waiting while I went back to go get it. Was charged for two days for both the truck and the dolly. We tried to get it corrected prior to taking the truck, then when returning, and also when I went back to get the dolly. I have called and gone back in person only to be told by the general managers that they don’t care and hope Uhaul gets taken away from them. They are dealers and apparently don’t make any money from Uhaul and it’s not worth the headache. They won’t do anything to fix the incorrect amount and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Use a different Uhaul dealer if you can! They also charged an additional $56 and refused to remove the charge.

The on line experience was awe full. The process was cumbersome and in the end I needed someone to be on the phone with me the entire time. Much better if you had a live employee on site to assist. Also can of vehicle had a bad smell.

Truck was nasty when we received it, didn’t get the appliance dolly we paid for, had to use the dolly in the truck and then they charged me extra for using that even after we never received our appliance dolly. Won’t use U-Haul again!

The only thing I would comment on is that I had changed my reservation from "mobile only" to "pick up truck in person". When I got there, the poor guy from cubesmart told me all uhaul reservations that day HAD to be handled online. Since he was a cubesmart person and not a uhaul person, he could not help me. So i had to use the online pickup system, for which I was not prepared. In the end it all went fine, but that limitation and the subsequent requirements I had to adhere to did not go over well with me. But the overall experience was positive except for that blip.

The time it takes to log on, took 38 minutes and , the fact that everyone is trying to rent at 9:00 slows down the process . We should be able to do this at home and then once there we can go around the truck and assure there is no damage. This part I liked, but the verification could be done when I ordered the truck. I know there was an emergency situation at this site, so maybe district manager could step in. I picked this location due to its ratings, I’ll give it 4. Thank you for Ursula service nationwide.

I did not have a problem with the location. I did have multiple issues with your website availability when I was trying to check out after hours. After trying multiple times I called uhaul for assistance. But was on hold forever. I then gave up and went home. Got online chat and tried to get help and then called again and just waited for someone to answer. The staff is good but your website and process needs to be streamlined. It was so bad that I will try alternative methods for rentals in the future.

The customer prior to us kept the unit 5 hours past its due time. We returned multiple times to try to acquire for our move. The managers stayed open late, and in fact, returned to work 5 hours AFTER hours to ensure we got our unit when it wasn't even their fault at all! They were diligent, kind, polite and helpful. We really appreciated that they went the extra mile for us and were so apologetic for some one else's lack of responsibility.

Manager was 15 minutes late to open up the office, The truck that I had reserved was not at the location because the previous renter was over 3 hors late bringing the truck back. Both of these issues caused us to be behind in my move.

Please fix online vehicle rental ordering. I ordered a pickup, then went to the location to pick it up... only to be told that they don’t rent out pickups. I had to call the main UHaul number, where a rep transferred me to a different number. In the end, I got lucky that a different location nearby happened to have a pickup returned just in time.
