Not able to say good thing about booking online. Go to the Erie location and talk to the great people there.

MARK D.Super easy transaction and good customer service. The truck was relatively clean but smelled pretty strongly like smoke, which is sad considering it says no smoking in the side of the vehicle. Other than that I had a great experience with the rental process.

Tim N.The vehicle was in bad shape and we had problems with the back door opening and closing. The vehicle had a tough time starting and had 157k miles on it. It was a piece of crap. We will go to Pensk next time.
SallyGordon W.1) The vehicle was on less than E when I turned on the ignition. 2) The low tire pressure message was on when I turned on the vehicle making the mileage reading unavailable. I had to immediately drive miles out of my way to get gas and air for tires. 3)The internet reception was almost non existent at that location making the mobile check in and out triple the time it should take. In fact, I could not even check the vehicle back in because of it. 4) I was on hold for 45min waiting for a customer service person to assist me with my concerns and questions on how to navigate the tire pressure issue. To no resolution. 5) I was refunded my total amount of $50 the next business day, for my troubles. But I spent way too much time and stress than it was worth. All-in-all, if no one is monitoring a location physically, then at least provide a good internet signal and the ability to speak to a phone representative within a very reasonable amount of time.

It was smelly and filthy at the driver area and also the whole trunk cargo area was extremely dusty and very dirty. I cleaned it very well before I returned it.but it was definitely not cleaned at all before I used it from previous renter.
Vasi K.Facility was great, but the truck we rented needs to be taken out of circulation and serviced. The steering and/or alignment are way off, air conditioning stopped working about 20 miles into the drive (unfortunate as it was close to 100 degrees outside) radio doesn't work.

Karrie J.I did not select this location to pick up this truck. I scheduled this truck to be picked up 4 hours earlier and almost an hour closer to my house. Huge inconvenience to my right plan to get moved 1000 miles away. Ash tray in truck was full of cigarette butts, I learned when it fell out and spilled all over cab. And the air conditioning in the truck went out halfway through my trip. All things needed to be accomplished were accomplished, but via an expensive inconvenience, and overcharges after dropping off, and only $50 for my inconvenience to drive to and back from Erie, Colorado instead of Loveland, 4 hours later than when I needed the truck.
Shane W.The problem wasn't the location. It's UHaul as a company. You burned me the day of a move and didn't have adequate resources to fix it. I paid more in miles than I should have because you made me pick up 2 HOURS LATER than I booked for several weeks ahead of time. Awfully set up and no accountability for almost making it impossible to move the day I planned for and needed to move out by. Despicable company.
David B.The online pick up and drop off was not convenient at all!!!! I had to call in when trying to pick it up and was on hold for 10 minutes then another 10 while it got processed. It would have been easier and faster to just do it in person at the location.
dayna B.The Uhaul Truck Share 24/7 program DID NOT WORK. I arrived at the location and turned on my phone's location settings, but the Uhaul site could not confirm that I arrived. I scanned the barcode at the building, and Uhaul still did not allow me to proceed with the rental (scanning did not work). I tried calling customer service, but there was a 40-50 min wait. Fortunately the customer service agents inside the building beckoned me inside and were happy to help me pick up the truck.

Kathleen B.I'm disappointed with this site for multiple reasons. I rented a van there before and the experience was great. On my return visit to rent a 10foot truck I felt confident this site will provide excellent customer service. However, when I went to pickup my rental I couldn't find the truck number that was reserved for me. They told me the trucks were numbered, they're not. I went to the office to ask which truck is mine and they have hours posted for Sunday and they're in fact closed. I went to the lockbox to get the keys and chose the box numbered 3. I found my rental and drove away. Later on they accused me of stealing the rental because I didn't check out the vehicle properly online and they wanted to know how I got the keys. The next day they called me and demanded to know when I would bring back the “truck I stole†and my rental is “red-tagged†I told the site rep that I tried to make contact in their office and she said rudely, “we're closed and if you read the sign above the door you'd know that,†and then she hung up. I called U-haul direct and they told me the site had two trucks out in my name. This was the worse experience. I was accused of auto theft but they had my credit card on file and my personal vehicle parked on their property. Do not rent from this site.
