Better communication on the rental side as I tried to rent local and he was not much help

BRENDA SI was told ( not by the Bath location ) by UHaul that the trailer had a winch but it did not. Fortunately I had a come-along to slowly load the disabled vehicle on the trailer. It took about 2 hours. It took approximately a half an hour to repeat the information at the Bath location which I had given 2 days before. The gentleman at the Bath location was having computer problems. The seats in the truck were tough on my back and I always knocked my knees on the steering wheel when I got in and out because it was not adjustable. Otherwise the people with which I had contact were mosty friendly and helpful.

CURTIS JJohn is wonderful with customer service and his facility is very welcoming. He has most all UHaul equipment on his lot at all times. We would highly recommend renting from Creative Woodworking UHaul.
Pamela MDrop off location has shop hours that were not posted on line. We did call the number on our info sheet and they showed up within minutes.
ANTHONY AThe truck wasn't clean when picked up. The owner of this location is quite rude. I needed the truck for 2 days but ended up needing more time on the second day. I had informed the owner I wouldn't have it back at 9am, but later in the afternoon around 430 because I'm also a full time nursing student. He called me 5 times on my second day (after I'd already been charged for the extra day) asking very rudely when I would be there because he'd booked the truck out- even though two days prior I told the man I would most likely be using the extra day. The only good experience here was the fact he was not in the office when I returned the truck so I could just put the keys in his drop box. I would recommend you avoid this man who obviously doesn't know how to communicate without being rude.

Alton VWhen I received the truck the fuel level was slightly below 3/4. When I refilled and returned the truck the fuel level was slightly above 3/4. I was trying to ensure I did the right thing but was inappropriately charged for 2 additional gallons of fuel. Not going to fight back over $7, but it's still been noticed.

Dan RUhaul rental at this location is a second source of income for this location and this individual seemed rather irritated that I was dropping off a trailer and wasn't very helpful with backing the trailer to where he wanted it
Jeffrey CWould not recommend renting from this place what so ever , owner doesn't even act like he wants to be there from the start he was rude and nasty . Then when I went to go drop off the uhaul he just stared at me and my friend struggling to undo the trailer from my hitched .. im disabled so it was really difficult for me and for someone to just stare and not help and then we asked for his help and he just yelled at us .. I'm sorry but he needs to retire or go the therapy because the way he acts is unacceptable and unhinged .

Tara HThe transmission in this truck was on borrowed time. There was a leak in the roof and my boxes got wet due to this. Proper maintenance on a vehicle that you rent out needs to be the highest priority.
Philip BWas charged way more then reservation. Want my half of money back. Was told 283.69 n got charged over 500.

Craig SUsed the trick, A bigger one just came in this morning, I'll give it to you at the price of the smaller truck. I took it as up to UHall standards but I was greatly disappointed when I stopped to load up and opened the door and found a roach infestation greater than I have seen or even imagined. I needed to transport items from my deceased mother's Home . I had no choice but to clean it up to my standards. After 4 cans of Raid Roach spray, 3 cans of Raid Roach bombs to fire off while on my was to load up, which cost about $70 bucks. Got to load up spot, opened the back door and found luckily 99% dead, less then 10 moving out of thousands. I vacuumed up walls, railings and behind them, from top to bottom and floors. My brother came with a power washer and we power washed the entire inside and water vac'd the floor. The shop was closed 10 minutes after I left. I luckily made it down to my destination, unpacked items and found no bugs. I did report my displeasure with the company when I called the 800 number and I apologize for my anger. Since all of this I have no call back from Uhaul. The Manager on Duty at Monticello Uhaul was extremely understanding and listened, gave apologies.
Robert MThe truck swayed a lot when driving, steering seemed loose. Also, the dolly that was so conveniently place directly in front of the door got bumped while loading, and broke the zip tie that holds it on broke, causing a $7.00 charge for absolutely nothing. I didn't even use it. Placing it directly in the path of loading, and securing it with 1 little zip tie is an obvious scam and your untrustworthy company has lost all my respect for a cheap shot like that. Good way to lose customers guys. Well planned. Looks like you outsmarted us all! Hope the $7.00 is worth ruining your name.
Cory OMake sure trailer has good tires or a spare with the unit. Front RH tire had broken belt which caused trailer vibration for entire trip and concerns about it blowing out. It was obvious that it was an old tire due to the amount of UV damage on it. The tire should have been caught on walk around inspection.

Amity TThe transmission barely shifted and the engine sounded like only half the cylinders were firing. One time it was hard to start. Truck was clean but I was concerned the transmission would stop shifting before i could get it returned. Engine would "rev" to 4 or 5 before it would jerkily shift no matter how slow I accelerated

John LThe owner of this facility is very friendly and knowledgable. I would use his location for a rental any time at all. This was my second rental from his location this week. That said... I will personally try to NEVER use the UHAUL APP, EVER AGAIN. Though it might be convenient, every time you move your device enough to have the screen rotate, it removes you from the page you are using and have to start the whole process over. Checking in took me over 30 minutes and after a stressful move and trying to drop off, adding that factor on top of trying to get all the pictures that you are requesting that do not fit the camera because we can't zoom in or out is an absolute nightmare. This is a stark contrast to the onsite personell.
