First, they did not give me a packet to take with me in the truck in case there was an accident or perhaps pulled over. They said it was in the email. I asked for a paper receipt and they told me their printer was down and could not give me one. I asked if there was anyway they could give me some kind of paper, because I run a business And paper receipts. The people in there store were very very rude people. I personally don’t care if I have a job to do a mile from their place. I will go elsewhere to rent a U-Haul. I will never be back at this U-Haul. The people are very unprofessional and very rude.

I received my final receipt and was charged for Safe Move insurance of $15 that I definitely didn't sign up for. Also, I was charged for extra fuel when I returned the truck with the same level of fuel that I left with.

The contactless pickup and dropoff is a complete nightmare of a process. I input all of my information into the app prior to arrival at the pickup location, yet it still had me upload my driver's license, and other applicable information. The upload process took forever, and even then, it said that it was pending approval from U-Haul side, all while I was at the actual site for my confirmed pickup time! Thankfully, I took a picture of the mileage prior to operating the truck because U-Haul tried to charge me for 133 miles, when I only traveled 40. That was almost an additional $90 of charges. I spoke to someone when dropping the vehicle off who was able to create a ticket to resolve. I did receive the credit in my account the next day, but it should not be this difficult to rent a truck after following ALL OF THE STEPS. I will never use a contactless pickup / drop-off again, or will just go to Enterprise; Home Depot, etc. to rent a truck. This process was very frustrating from start to finish.

There was some snow during track return. These trucks are terrible in the snow. Also the “easy” pick up system was anything but. It was complex and took more time than regular rental

The truck was filthy inside and there was not a dolly in the truck. The gentleman at the location let me use on of his. He was very nice but the truck was filthy!

When I got there, the price on their machine was over $100.00 more than the original price quoted and the guy acted very sketchy. When I told him that it was wrong, they told me that he was unable to change anything. When I arrived in Carlisle, PA U-Haul, the owner was there and took care of all the extra charges. I picked up the truck at approx. 4pm and returned it before that time the following day. Someone added an additional day and basically told me all the wrong information. Thank goodness your owner at the Walnut Bottom Rd U-Haul location was honest and took care of everything. Also, the original lady was very helpful and seemed honest.

I picked up the truck soon after it had been returned. There was broken glass all over the floor of the back. The wonderful man in the shop was not informed and had not had time to check it. When I returned it (clean) the woman working only cared that no one got hurt, not that it was not clean. I KNOW that if it is not clean, I will be charged for cleaning, which the renters before me should have been. The ride was really rough. I have never driven one that big, so that may be normal, however it should be given a test drive to see. The mirrors were not set so that a normal sized person could see out the right side top mirror. No inside adjustment??? Very difficult to adjust by hand.

Had to wait for 25 minutes for them to get the computer setup to get checked in. I had an appointment and they were not prepared. Pre vehicle inspection link did not work and they did not resend even though I told them. Cup holders were filthy and cab smelled really bad. Overall just a bad experience.

Lazy owner, had to get mileage and fuel for him. Parked by drop off sign wasn’t good enough-had to move to lot. Will go back to usual uhaul place. It was closed so tried this one-NEVER AGAIN. Truck box was dirty when picked up

The rubber was coming off the steering wheel and it was sticking. The wrong gas mileage was on the truck in the beginning and I told the person and they said to tell the person when I returned and I did . They still charged me for fuel that I did not use. I had to call in a request refund. Was a hassle. The best thing I can say was that they were able to change my reservation to earlier without any problems , that was great.

Inspect the trucks better after they are returned. My truck had a right front blinker that did not work and the wipers were terrible and streaked bad. I actually purchased a wiper blade and put it on myself, the driver wiper I took off wasn't even the right size! It was too small!

Please make sure any equipment ie., dollies, handcarts, etc are available at the same location as the vehicle. If they are not, and advance email or text so that on rental day customers are not running around fathering equipment from different locations.

Usually someone goes over the truck, contract etc. This location sent me to the back of their facility to take the dirty appliance dolly and find the truck on my own. I took pictures of the damage already on the truck because this was all very odd. I almost couldn't lift the dolly to get it on the truck because I'm not young, and a woman with a heart condition. Usually people helped me at these places. Not this one. Then when I got it home and my friends opened the back up, the moving pads were out and scattered, the bed of the truck had a lot of debris so we had to sweep it before even using it. I was told the truck had half a tank, and bring it back as such. I agreed of course then when I left I saw it wasn't half it was just below half. Since I agreed half (which should've been confirmed before doing my paperwork) I filled it to half upon return. I only used it for 10 miles and put 5 gallons to get it to half. Then when I returned the vehicle, after walking all the way inside, I was asked to walk back to the vehicle to get the clerk an image of the tachometer and fuel so he could finish things. I did so, and explained how the truck was not at a half of a tank upon pick up, but I made it so, and no apology was given. I said do I get a receipt? Simply he said, in your phone, email, have a nice day Miss lady. There was absolutely NO customer service (lucky I didn't get hurt loading the appliance dolly) or following of proper protocols at this location.

Poor location, very long wait while attendant waits on mini mart customers while ignoring uhaul customers He also did not tell me there was a huge added charge to use a credit card. I only found out about it when I saw the bill which was over $16 higher than the quoted price

Only one employee who seemed overwhelmed with dealing with normal customers and U-haul. Especially because the system was down in the morning. However, I was still able to get the truck and get an accidental charge refunded without issue.

Insurance was added to my order after I brought the truck back. I used to be a rental agent and at pick up specifically "no insurance". It's not on my order confirmation when I checked the vehicle in either. I returned the vehicle and keys inside to the owner, not the same man I rented from. He didn't "have time" to give me a receipt and said he would email it. I'm now noticing that there was an additional $14.00 unauthorized insurance charge added.

Staff and location dirty and very blah. The staff Did not seem to really care one way or the other. Ordered 12 furniture pads. Asked if pads in truck was told… yeah… No pads in back of truck along with folded up boxes from a previous client. Returned the truck explained that I did not receive the pads and did not want to be charged. They told me that the only way I can not be charged for them was to request a refund by customer service. I called twice.. second call I received me refund with no hassle. Just disappointed in this particular location and franchise owner.

The man behind the counter was very mean. I ask for a receipt and he said it would be emailed. I said okay can you give me a copy signed by him to say the truck was returned in good condition. He yelled NO IT WILL BE EMAILED. I said I would like something saying I returned it in good condition. He then thru the keys on the counter and told me to go somewhere else. I said no I am returning it where I got it. He then told me to leave or he will call the police. I then took his picture to prove who he is. That infuriated him and he told me to leave again. That is the 2nd time he was rude to me. About 2 weeks ago I stopped in to ask a couple questions about renting a truck. He was very rude then too. TERRIBLE PERSON..

Secure your trucks. Someone apparently siphoned gas out of my truck overnight and I took the truck without realizing what happened. I got the text or email after I left the lot. I drove sixty miles and put $19 of gas in it then to add insult to injury I was xharged an additional $10.50 by usual for more gas! Not happy at all!

I am thrilled with Cranberry Mini Mart. Our original U-haul truck was coordinated with Camp BowWow in Cranberry Township, however, they did not have the truck and were not reachable. U-haul customer support got us a replacement truck with Cranberry Mini Mart, Cranberry Mini Mart was fantastic.

The location was filthy as well as the truck. The clerk was not friendly what so ever. When returning, I asked for the receipt. She stated that I would refine when she returns it in the system “later”. I asked her to do while I was there and she seemed very annoyed.

The person kept stopping my equipment pickup transaction to go checkout the customers at his mini-mart cash register. This prolonged getting the equipment I needed to start the move. This is why I prefer to only pickup and drop-off at UHaul only facilities. I wish UHaul would not redirect my requested pickup location or at least move it to another UHaul only facility.

I had already reserved truck, yet uhaul agent took over half hour to rewrite resrvation, was overcharged for mileage and put a $5 safe trip charge I did not order, I received credit for mileage but not for $5 charge, paid $14 for insurance did not need or want extra coverage for an afternoon trip.

The uhaul I was given for my move for the way was filthy inside and it was sketchy driving every time you hit the breaks they pulsated and everytime you came to a complete stop the brake pedal just throbbed back and forth they had other trucks the same size there but decided to give me the oldest one they had and I have rented u hauls before but this one truck i had was the worse I felt unsafe driving it also none of the dash lights worked either

The location is fine outside of the billing error on your part. I never opted for safe move so either this happened on your end or by the employee in the store. Stop ripping off your customers.

This whole deal was an awful experience. It took three hours to rent one truck. I had to go to two locations one to pick up pads and one to get the truck. This was after another dealer hung up on me when I told him I was looking for a one way truck. Not to mention at both locations they had to call dispatch and we were put on 20 min holds. The last one we called couldn’t do anything and transferred us to a customer services line for another 20 mins. Finally the girl at the store called the manager I had to give them me bank card info she text it to him over her personal cell phone and gave me the keys to a truck sitting in a pitch black lot. No rental agreement and when I got home finally 4 hours later still nothing. This morning I got a pick up and rental agreement. Not one picture was taken of the truck and the truck was a muddy mess on the outside and I had to clean the window to see driving in the dark. This was completely unacceptable I am so pissed about the whole damn thing. I don’t know if it’s just the Pennsylvania division or what but I have never had this much bs renting one truck in my local Ohio store even on a same day rental.
