I have a use U-Haul multiple times in the past but my last experience was horrible I promise I'll never use U Haul again and the location I picked up at was pathetic. I promise I'll do everything in my ability to go on social media and give this location and U Haul the worst rating possible.Marcus R.

The only advantage of the online check in is that you can pick up and drop off when the business is closed. Other than that, it was very tedious and too long to do all that was required on line. Too many steps to just pick up and drop off. You had to answer questions and take pictures, etc. When we dropped off, we had to go through the procedure twice and the gate would not open. We called the number on the gate, but there was only a voice mail box. We had to leave the truck outside of the gate. We will not use this again.David T.

Higher someone who is professional and not rude! The receptionist has a very nasty attitude and was very rude! Customer service is everything! The truck smelled of cigarettes and marijuana and the floor was dirty.Britsheny B.

After my reservation was cancelled 12 hours before pick up time, I made a new reservation at this location. After renting the truck, I discovered that the driver's seat was broken and I could not reach the pedals. When I told the woman working behind the counter, she said she already knew it was broken. The truck was very old and very hard to steer. That u- haul truck burns a lot of gas. And also i was charged an extra ten dollars for pads that i never even received. I had to sit a extra thirty minutes to get this matter cleared up before i could leave.Stephanie C.

Covington store it was not a good at being open at the hours they clearly have posted outside of they're door which created an extreme inconvenience for returning the truck. On 7/23/19 I reserved the truck from Covington store it for 7/24/19 at 9:00 when they open. The lady who reserved the truck for me informed me that they would be closing at 5:30 and not a minute later because she was leaving to go on a cruise with her class. I reserved the truck I reserved it for 24 hours and had to have it back by 9:00 the next morning. I finished moving everything I needed to early and showed up at Covington Store it to return the truck at 4:30 to return the truck the same day I rented it. I was not able to return the truck because nobody was there even though it was clearly stated outside the door and by the lady who was working that they did not close until 5:30 pm. The next morning I had to find a co worker to cover part of my shift for me so I could return the truck at 9:00 to avoid being charged for another days rent of the truck. I pulled into the parking lot at 9:00am to return the truck and nobody was there. After waiting till 9:20 for somebody to show up so I could return the truck and go back to work I called the 24 hour customer service line where whoever the operator was told me that somebody would be there shortly. After waiting on somebody to come to work so I could return the truck until 10:00 I called customer service again on the 24 hour helpline who left a detailed e mail with the company about the issue. The lady I spoke with the second time told me everything would be ok for me to leave the truck and drop the keys off in the box because I had to get back to work. Covington store it not being opened when they were supposed to be opened created an extreme inconvenience to me my family my co workers my job and my store that I am obligated to maintain. I lost a lot of money because I was waiting on others to do what they were supposed to do and I am not happy.Kathleen M.

Office was closed when I arrived at 10:50 am for a scheduled pickup. I called 3 numbers before finally getting through to a uhaul rep (Jason from Athens) who was not affiliated with that location. He was wonderful and extremely helpful but even so it took almost another hour and a half to get someone to the location so I could pickup the truck. They had no plans to open the location that day. While I understand things happen and stores remain closed unexpectedly, I should have been notified so I could have made other plans. In all it took over 2 hours to pick up a truck I drove over an hour for.Whitney L.

Hard to get in and out of this location. Representative was courteous. I had already prepaid online but when I picked up the trailer I was charged another $26.00. She said it would be returned upon drop-off of the trailer (like a deposit) but when I dropped off the trailer he said that was not the case, so I did not get my $26.00 dollars back. Don't understand why I was charged more when I prepaid in full.Gary C.
The day before I picked up the truck, I got an email saying this location did not have the equipment and my pick up location had been moved 30 minutes away (an hour total round trip) to Keys Ferry in McDonough. After trying on line chat, and a couple of folks on the phone, they discovered that the equipment was available at my requested pick up location and were not sure why it changed me. Also, after I got the email, I tried to call that Keys Ferry location and got a recorded message, repeating the number I dialed and indicating no one could answer the phone at this time. However, the number they recited on the message was NOT the number that was on the U-haul website for them, or on the email (which was the number I dialed). Not sure what's going on but it was VERY frustrating and seemed awfully sketchy.Daniel P.

I drove this Uhaul approximately 40 miles and put 11 Gallons of fuel in the truck prior to returning. I realized after renting the truck Friday evening the fuel was not listed correctly. It shows 3/8. I returned the truck with 1/2 a tank of fuel. I was over charged by $100. I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Newton County Chamber of Commerce. As I was dropping the truck off approximately 4:15 pm on September 1st there was another man picking up a truck. I explained they listed the fuel wrong by 1/4 if a tank. He said it happened to him both times he rented. This is an intentional business practice designed to relate fraudulent revenue. Refund my overcharges.Robert S.

I'm very upset with the charges of $296.00 plus some change. The man accepted the u-haul saying the gas was fine. Then I get a call from the one in Conyers telling me I owe all this money. $180.00 for gas because it wasn't where it was supposed to be. The man looked at the rental agreement and accepted the truck with everything being fine. I don't know why I got the rest of the charges of &116.00. I don't feel I should pay a$180.00 for gas that can be filled up with $60.00 or less. Please advise me as to why all the necessary charges. As to renting another u-haul from you. I'm not sure I would ever do that. The people and places are very nice but the charges are ridiculous. Thank you for reading this.GAYLE M.
