Got over charged, literally like 1,200 this got to be a mistake

Great customer service!!
Joseph WPickup of vehicle before hours was cumbersome and complicated. Truck was wedged in behind other trucks. Gas was less than 1/4 tank, but the contract indicated it was 1/4. I only drove 25 miles before the low fuel light came on. When returning the vehicle the agent charged me refueling charges even though I showed him that I had just purchased fuel for the vehicle in which I only drove 45 miles. He said there was nothing that he could do and gave me a number to call U-Haul if I had a complaint. I brought the vehicle back more than 2 hours before its return time and if there was a problem with the fuel level, he should have told me before he closed out the ticket. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul (especially this one) again!!!
Norman PEverything was great except for the U-Haul app. I couldn't locate my reservation and spent almost an hour on the phone with technical support. Essentially the app didn't work and I had to log into the site multiple times as all of the electronic signatures were not working. If you can fix these issues it would be top notch. When you are moving time is very important (i.e. getting out of one place, picking up keys, etc.). Delays are really disruptive.

Brett MOverall experience was excellent! Bill was friendly, ready for me at the pickup time, the cargo van I rented was very clean and ready to roll when I got there. Returning the van was very quick and easy. I got my receipt in my email before I got home (less than 5 minutes) just like Bill told me. I would definitely rent from Compass Storage location again.

Russell Gthey charged me much more than I drove the truck, equipment was dirty and customer service was horrible. They had me wait about 1hr just to get the keys and lost time due to this delayed my whole entire move. Not satisfied

ESAT UWhile the location and the people were excellent, the equipment was not. The drivers door on the unit would not shut all the way and the steering was awful. It was so loose it wasn’t really safe to drive. And finally, I was not happy the gas warning light was on when i got in it and I had stop and put gas in it before I could go anywhere.

Steve RThe store absolutely smelled like marijuana tines 100. I felt very sick when we left there. The van was dirty and dusty inside and smelled like curry. The shocks need replaced. Overall it did the job to get our bed frame and mattress there but not happy

CASEY PI was woefully charged for fuel even though I replaced the fuel I used. When I did not agree with the charge, U-Haul said someone was going to contact me but that never happened. A receipt which included the fuel charge was sent to me 2 weeks later.
Kwame NThere was a bit of mud in the cargo area and some mud on the tires/ fenders. Other than that there were no issues. The process was pretty straight forward and simple.

Jeffrey FThe ONLY reason that I gave the experience an above average rating is because of Bill. The online "help yourself" was not clear and I waited for 25 minutes for assistance. There was also no dolly available reserved. When Bill arrived he was transparent and helpful and pleasant to deal with in a stressful time.
