Your app was a problem in several areas. It would not pick up my GPS location, so I had to use my boyfriend's phone to sign in. Then when taking a photo it indicated that his didn't have enough memory to take a photo. After removing a few apps, one at a time until I could take the picture required to pick up the truck, it then asked for additional information to verify that we were who we are, which required chatting with your wonderful support staff. The staff had to call and wake a relative up to confirm we are who we say we are. Then the lock on the key safe was difficult to open due to it's location on the building and the height. All of these issues put together caused us to be late to start the packing while people we hired and were paying stood around waiting for us. And if you really want to hear about the initial issues with the reservation at the first location I was to pick up the reserved truck, just call me. If it wasn't for your wonderful support staff I wouldn't have gotten a truck to move yesterday. So removing the support staff and the nice business I ended up with, I would have rated the rest with a one star. And I'm retired IT Director, so the technology and security measures need to be revised for many who will struggle with it more than I did.Howard S.

This rental was a life saver for us. The apartment we were supposed to be able to move into was trashed. Only option was a Saturday move furniture into a storage unit for June. This location offered Saturday service as those in Rolla, MO are not open on Saturday. Thank goodness!!MARG P.

I made the reservation so I could just go pick up the keys from a box. The instructions on the app said get the keys from the box located to the right of the door. There were no keys there. I went inside and had to wait nearly 30 minutes for it to be my turn in line. The guy working just hadn't put the keys in the box. Massive waste of my time while I was in a hurry to get started moving. Why even give the option to pick up keys from the box if the person working isn't going to actually put them there?Mallory E.
Very frustrated that the website allowed me to book at a specific location only to be called later and told to pick up the truck at a different location farther away. Absolutely unacceptable. Raining the day we picked up a car hauler at a different location. We got stuck in the mud. U haul was attempting to make me pay for the tow. It took hours to finally get the people on the phone to understand that we had never even got out of the area where it was parkedjustin M.

I picked up the rental after hours. I was unable to use the email to login because it did not recognize the location even though allow was on. I called uhaul 800 number and they said to download the app. The lever to unlock the key box pad lock was hard to turn. There was nobody at the business when I returned the truck at 3:30 pm. I called the uhaul 800 number for that location and there was no answer. I left it there because I had to go get the additional furniture pads that I forgot to bring. I arrived back to the business before 5:30 but by the time I jumped through different hoops to complete the return it was after 5:30 pm so I was charged 26 cents.William O.

First truck would not start. Then it took 30 mins to get info on second truck that was very dirty inside. There were chips in the windshield & by the time i got the vehicle inspection text the link had expired so I could not report or show pictures of the issues on the 2nd truck. I hope there will not be additional charges due not being able to report the nasty conditions or windshield chips. I have photos if needed.Ben S.

No suggestion for improvements, I just want to say, the staff at this location is most excellent, I'm not kidding!! Every time I've rented a truck there, they are most helpful, polite, courteous and result's oriented!!!! On Thursday morning we realized that we would need a truck, we had not planned for it because we thought we would be fine without it, but at the last minute, we had to call in about 9:15am, we were moving out of town!!! Tammy got right on it, and helped us get what we needed!! Her whole team are just lovely to work with, we've never been disappointed!!!!SAMUEL F.

Arrived to pick up auto carrier at confirmed time (10 am) No one was there. Door locked w/ apology note and 800 Haul #. Local phone from website had msg that phone was not in service. Called 800# and customer rep found alt #. Mgr said she would return soon but customer was just about to leave for home - fortunately, he was still there nearly 1/2 hr after appt. Man who hooked up to our tow vehicle did not fully engage clamp onto hitch ball so carrier nearly bounced off. Customer was able to correct that but another might not have been. The strap mechanisms to secure carried vehicle were very rusted and required WD40 to move to attach safely.Gary S.

Lady called me to try to get me to get bigger truck bc our truck wouldn't be ready at 8 am, wanted to charge me additional $200. Then sd would call when truck is ready, NEVER called me to say it was ready. I called at 1030, to find out it had been ready ALL morning. Then the truck wasn't even cleaned out. Staff was great, but trailer had lights that were not working at time of pick-up, and it was parked in knee high weeds, which I had to retrieve myself. So, first of all, ensure all equipment is fully functional, and secondly, especially if I have to hook up myself, have the equipment in a suitable location for pick-up.robert R.

This was overall the BEST experience I've had renting a U-Haul in my area. The lady whom helped me (I cannot for the life of me remember her name) was excellent, and was very attentive and kind throughout the whole process. The truck itself drove just fine, and I didn't have any issues to speak of regarding my hauling experience.David H.
We have to follow up with uHaul corporate office. The truck we were sent out with was not suitable for rental. Our concerns were dismissed immediately. Not only was the vehicle cosmetically damaged and dirty, the catalytic converter was cut out. This was informed AFTER we notified the business that the check engine light was on. With a compressed timeframe to move and a failure to provide another vehicle, we drove to the drop off point which refused to accept the truck and required us to drive to another location for inspection. No one offered remediation or to fix the situation. This company acted with complete neglect for their equipment, company policy and their customers. They avoided responsibility, hid potentially dangerous problems and ignored the fact that we were put in a potentially dangerous situation with operating faulty equipment during a move. We are currently considering our legal options.Julie D.

Let me tell you I was so stressed out the day I went to rent a uhaul and the lady working name is tammy she went above and beyond to get me the best deal if you need a uhaul in the rolla st james area go see this company and talk to tammy AGAIN THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME TAMMYjason S.
