Alexander WI originally had a 9 ft van confirmed and then U haul changed it to a 10 ft truck (with no extra charge) a few hours before pick up. It was a bit hectic to deal with all those issues on the same day I had to move my couch. I had to make multiple calls to Uhaul customer service while doing everything else. Just because I was told that my rate will be "the 10 ft truck rate" at the pick-up location, which was not even true! So, if you are going to make any changes to the reservations for any other customer, I would sincerely ask you to please make sure the pick up location is also aware of those changes. I had no clue that U haul locations and customer service are not consistent and connected in terms of their systems for handling customers.

Baolin SI enjoyed excellent service from the manager. Really efficient, pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable. Only drawback is the location, a little hard to find.

Jonathan RReserved a 10 Ft. truck online and was curious about the new (to me) 24/7 Truck Share option, so I clicked on the blue "i" information link. I decided I didn't want to use that option so I escaped out of the info window and completed my reservation. I was surprised to see in my "Print a Copy" version that it stated I had converted to the 24/7 Truck Share, even though the unsubmitted reservation made no mention of it, and I definitely did NOT press the "Convert" button at any time. I then attached a note to the reservation after that stating that I did not convert to Truck Share, despite what the "Print a Copy" version said. Next morning when I arrived to pick up the truck the attendant could not complete the reservation pick up procedure on the computer and eventually had to cancel the reservation and start a new one, thus rendering all my attempts to speed up the process by signing in online and uploading images of my drivers license the previous day to be a waste of effort, plus the pick up procedure was now extended by about a half an hour as well. I'm convinced your online reservation program has a bug in it and I will never click on any "i" information link on your website ever again. Someone at U-Haul should redesign the program to 1) indicate a conversion has occurred, and 2) allow reverting back to a regular reservation if it was chosen unintentionally. It's just plain frustrating.

Qian QThe U-Haul was struggling to just drive and U-Haul told us it is okay even though it couldn’t accelerate beyond 2500 rpm, the transmission messed up, no transmission fluid, and with the check engine light on for nearly the entire drive.it made what was to be a 8.5 hour drive into a 16 hour drive.

Qian QI booked a 15ft truck from 9.30am to 3.30pm on December 3rd, 2023. My pickup location was at Burnaby South Self Storage Ltd. I do not recall the name of the person who was on duty. He was very polite, helpful and he made the whole process of picking up and drop off very pleasant. I would rate him 5 stars.
Aik KPrefer the 9' cargo van. When I returned the truck there was a car parked in the stall reserved for the truck - this was really annoying. Otherwise the experience was excellent.

Ali AIf the gas tank level is numbered instead of the current 'approximately being estimated by eyes, it should improve more of trust for the business and less customer dissatisfaction. The final cost can be more than you expected because of this. It should avoid any unnecessary disagreement if It just should be more accurate at the beginning also and the end of vehicle use.

Jo CU-Haul Representative claimed that the vehicle's gas tank was half full as recorded on his file when I picked up the Mini-Van. The indicator was about 1/16 of an inch above the quarter mark on the gauge when I drove away. He charged me an extra 15.33 Dollars for what he claimed I did not replenish the tank to the half mark of the gauge. The vehicles information display showed a fuel usage of 16.2 Liters per 100Km. Based on this, I refueled the tank with 6.572 Liters of fuel having driven a distance of 34.9 Km. Based on these numbers, I would have burned up 5.65 Liters of fuel. By refueling with 6.572 Liters, I actually put in one extra Liter of fuel. It would have been appropriate for the U-Haul employee to show me the previous paperwork with his fuel gauge marking beforehand, and verify that with me before I drove away with the vehicle. In my opinion that was negligent on his part. Also, I find it offensive when he responded by saying something like ' you can drive away and refuel the tank to the halfway mark and then come back'. I did not want to argue the matter anymore, and paid the charge of 15.33 Dollars for an additional 7 Liters of fuel he claimed. I do find the employee's action questionable and unacceptable. As for a recommendation of this location to a friend, I cannot do so because of this U-Haul's employee action and mannerism.
