This is the second time my u boxes were not delivered to my home as scheduled !!! I now have another company scheduled to pick up my u boxes for delivery and unload this coming Monday. Unfortunately they can only get 2 boxes at a time and it will take a lot more time and money for delivery and unloading of my u boxes since U-Haul could not do their job.Tammy C.

Trailer was in poor structural condition, multiple structural areas were rusted completely through with recent paint attempting to make the trailer look in better condition. Trailer had moderate to severe vibration between 50-55 mph. Tires were mismatched and in different wear stages, resulting in poor performance and vibration. License plate was hanging on my a small screw and piece of the license plate, the other plate hole was ripped out prior to rental, had to secure with zip ties.Kirk R.

Although I recognize that the business is run well and the facility was very neat and clean, the tires on the trailer I rented needed to have air in all the tires. On one tire in particular, the air in the tire was half of the required amount and leaked nearly 10 lbs per day. I had to seek an air pump daily to keep up with the proper pressure which was an inconvenience to say the least.Clifford K.

Before being sent to Browns my reservation was out of Hagerstown. When I got to the location I learned that location was not licensed for trailers. When they got UHaul on line person not at all interested that system allowed e to book at that location and only repeated that site is not licensed for trailers as if I should have known that. Man who helped me was great; very friendly and helpful. Gave me all the information I needed and even offered to transfer the car tow dolly to the larger uhaul when I was unsure if the size I ordered would actually be large enough. Contactless drop off did not work. As with the pickup process, my camera went black when I tried for the dash picture. Upon call the national number I was told that the problem was because I was not using the UHAUL app. If use of the app is required, the directions for self pickup and drop off should say so. This was the second location that i was sent to for picking up the Uhaul. Brown's was wonderful. When I got to Fast and Friendly ( the original location) for a 9:00 a.m. pick up I was informed that the Uhaul representative was out on a tow job and that it would be at least an hour. I called customer service and they pointed me to Brown's with a $50.00 credit. Fast and Freiendly is not a good representative for you company.. I am thankful that Brown's they made the check in process easy and pleasant. THANK YOU.David B.

Your â€œtrackingâ€ is the worst. 4 months to get to the correct location. What a complete disaster of a shipping method. No less than 20 phone calls to try and track the package down throughout the entire delivery process. Each phone call no less than a 30 minute wait time to talk to an individual telling us â€œthat's terrible and we are sorryâ€ and yet they didn't have a clue and could not help the process. We will â€œNEVERâ€ use U-Haul box again! And do you think we will recommend U-Hual to anyone ? We could write a book on the issues of the employees and delivery stationsâ€¦ Unreal !!stephen D.

Perhaps have a photo of the key drop off box that is specific to this site. There were 2 separate type key drop boxes since this was a garage, and perhaps each functions the same, but in this world of technology, it would seem an easy update to U-Hauls mobile app.Mark A.

Honestly, the biggest problem with this process was coordinating delivery/pick up after my UBox arrived at its location. For a logistics company, UHaul did a horrible job coordinating schedules. I tried to schedule delivery of my full UBox while it was in transit, but was told I couldn't until it arrived. When it arrived, there was a 2+ week wait to schedule the first available delivery date. It pushed me into another month of UBox rental (and insurance). Even though I got confirmation about delivery (and pickup) of my UBox, no one showed up on either confirmed day. It was frustrating and unprofessional. The people I spoke with were very nice, that wasn't the issue, it was the follow-through on promises/schedules. This is especially frustrating because I had to take time off work and schedule moving help...and had to keep changing plans. Honestly, had I not taken to Twitter to complain about things, I doubt I would have gotten prompt resolution about the delivery of my full UBox. I don't know where the breakdown happened, but based on my experience I will NOT be using the UBox service again. The drop off of the empty box and the transportation to the destination was wonderful. Everything after that was a mess.Dana M.

First off, I am a female senior. 1.) When picking up the rental truck: a. The equipment that I reserved was not available. I wasn't offered an apology or resolution except for the offer of a larger and more expensive truck to drive. b. U-Haul's website wouldn't work correctly. It would not load my driver's license photo and the clerk, Ronnie, acted like it was my fault even though he tried it himself. I was not given another option for that step of the process either, even though I asked for one. Why couldn't he just scan/copy my license? I've never seen a business that didn't have a copy machine of some kind. All the while, I'm already stressed because I was moving and was to meet the movers a half hour after pickup and had quite a drive from the pickup location to my place. c. The truck that I did eventually wind up with needed maintenance. ( A tune-up and a front wheel alignment, to start.) I had to drive it below the speed limit to feel like I had some control of the vehicle. It was nerve-wracking! When I returned the vehicle was the best part but, that's not saying much since I was completely ignored because Ronnie was on the phone. There wasn't even a chair to sit in while I waited and I was exhausted from the move. At least the drop-off wasn't as time consuming as the pickup but, at that point, I was already done for the day so, it didn't really matter how long it took. I will never rent from this location again and Do Not recommend this location to anyone.Tamara R.
I had reserved a cat carrier a week in advance for pick up in my home town. I had to drive over and hour to pick up the trailer because U Haul didn't have the trailer available. I'm not happy with U Haul's inability to have a trailer at the designated pickup point. I also tried to drop off the trailer closer to my destination and had to drive 35 minutes to drop it off when a U Haul location was within 6 miles. I won't use U Haul again.BRADLEYR S.

Waited for 30 mins for my trailer to get hooked up. It had dents in the wheel fender that weren't documented had to call back. The agent either purposely or inadvertently added Insurance ($28 a day) to my Rental 2day rental contract which I Didn't "ask for" or consent to, and misrepresented the cost per mile @ $1.00 dollar per mile. When the final invoice reflected a cost of $1.29 per mile while is 30% above what I was quoted upon pick up. These two small discrepancies created a profound difference in the price/cost of the final billing statement â€¼ï¸ And I'm disputing the UpchargeMIKE B.
