This experience was absolutely amazing! Brown's took care of us and made the whole process as streamlined as possible! We had tried to reach out to 4 other locations closer to us Cupp's, Global preowned, Inwood mini storage, and one other location ALL either didn't answer or wanted to leave a voicemail. The reviews also for these locations were not very good specifically in relation to the UHaul rentals, hidden fees, unkempt trucks, poor customer service etc. someone should review these locations above they are hurting your potential business. We can not however say any of those things about Brown's tire and towing! Amazing experience and if we ever need a UHaul again you can believe this is where we will go. AAA+!ASIA IRENE N.

The location was fine, although they changed our pickup time from 10 am to 8am the day before we were to come, and then the truck and UBox weren't ready at 8 after we'd driven 45 min to get there. UHaul was TERRIBLE. First the Ubox was not slated for pickup on the correct day. Correcting that on the phone w/ a rep took over 4 hours!! The online system couldn't link our reservation with our account, even after an additional hour on the phone with another rep! Therefore we couldn't use our phones for contactless pickup or dropoff. Our online reservation did not have Safemove, and we didn't want it. However, we have been charged for it and the location says there is nothing they can do. We will never use UHaul again.ROBERT D.

Cant think of a single thing. Owner was very helpful. Telling us about local traffic issues and advice to get where we were going. That was extremely helpful. Went over all the details regarding the rental. Those little truck/vans are wonderful and easy to drive , even in traffic.TERRY C.

The associate that I spoke with did not identify himself. I suspect that the reason for that is that he was quoting exorbitant rates for the one day rental of a 10' truck. I promptly left and checked to see in my rear view mirror if there was a big "L" on my forehead. Perhaps he spotted a sucker driving up in a a Cadillac...who knows.James M.

At final checkout the safemove and safetow plans I declined on the internet reservation had been added on. Check your receipt before you take the keys. To improve, how about you don't add stuff on to my reservation that i didn't ask for; it seems like someone pulling money out of my wallet and hoping i don't notice - in any other arena, that would be theft. 24 hours later i am still arguing the charge and am hoping my credit card company will solve the problem. Be super-cautious here.John W.

Appreciated the barriers, distancing stickers, and service. I was frustrated to learn I had to buy a trailer lights adapter once the trailer was already attached, when I could have used a different vehicle that was there as well.Samantha Z.

The people at the location were great. However, I confirmed a uhaul for chantilly, VA. This location was almost 2 hours away in West Virginia. Brown's Tire was very professional and followed social distancing standards. The vehicle was clean and ran well. Mr. Brown accommodated my request for an extra day for rental when we ran into some bad weather and delays. I highly recommend Brown's Tire for your U-Haul needs.Robert H.
Wrong information sent to me in text. Took over an hour to get the jeys to the truck. Truck then had no ramp or appliance dolly like we requested. When asking employee at location for the dolly was presented with an attitude and was not happy to help. We were late for our pickup and overall messed up our entire day. Not happy!Kristen Y.

This experience with uhaul was incredible. It was cost effective and we had lots of contact with the right people. They lady who delivered the pods from Redding was obliging and dealt with our issues quickly. The gentleman in West Virginia was pleasant and also dealt with problems in the most excellent manner. My family thanks you for getting our household items to us quickly too. We weren't expecting our deliver for another 6 days.Russell G.

Waiting on a response to being charged $60 for leaving a half a tank of gas when it only came with a little over a quarter of a tank which I identified prior to driving the truck and notified the Uhaul agent who said he would correct the error as they had a full tank listed. Even having done online checking and being the only customer in the building, I didn't get the truck until 45 minutes after my reservation time. The movers were waiting on me to arrive. Once I parked it and opened the back to load? There was a CAR LIFT left in there. I spent another 20 minutes attempting to secure the 300 pound piece of equipment to the wall so the movers could begin loading my belongings. This set me back even further, I was forced to pay an additional hour to the movers AND missed my internet installation at the new residence because we were an hour behind schedule. But hey, the fine folks at Browns offered a resolution, my bill went from $101 to $97. Is this real life? That's doing your best for your customer? Hard pass on Using Browns Ever for anything. My truck could break down in the or parking lot and I would call a tow.Jennifer H.

I booked a 20 foot truck on a Tuesday for a Saturday pick up and it was confirmed. I then received a call on Friday saying that they didn't have a 20 foot available and could only provide me a 15 foot that was 17 miles away. I had to pay for those additional 34 miles instead of being provided a truck from one of the many locations that were 3 miles from my home. I returned the truck within 24 hours and the shop was closed on a Sunday however when I received the final bill they had charged me another $70.00. They listed the truck as being returned on Monday when the shop had opened up, which resulted in another safe move charge and daily rental rate and then they charged me a 10.60 cleaning fee however I had already swept the truck clean and they couldn't provide me any pictures to show that it was dirty. I ended up paying 200.00 for a uhaul to move a half mile from my old house to my new house. It cost me that same amount when I moved with a different.m rental company an hour and a half apart in distance in the past. This was the most stressful experience and I wouldn't recommend uhaul. You are better off using another company that doesn't cheat you out of money.William S.
We were instructed to leave the trailer in an empty parking lot with no lock (in a college town). Owner called a day later wondering where the blankets were - which were left in the back of the trailer. Poor service.Joe S.

So much water damage and bug ridden. The mold is gross. This box was in the care of u-haul for 2 months. It took so much to get it moved and delivered. We were overcharged and spent hours on hold to resolve issues and finally get delivery. The local offices need more knowledge and training in order to solve issues. I hope to never have to use UHaul again. The moving company that finally delivered the goods were rude and pushy and were only focused on getting the job done, not done right. I will be filling a claim. I do believe UHaul needs better customer service training and uniformity across the company with its individual locations.
