Mirror of the passenger side became loose after the truck shook on a padhole. I had the truck loaded already and in my way to my final destination. This is a safety concern as I did not have a safe view of the left side of the truck. Very bad experience.

We were quite disappointed in uhaul (not this location specifically). We arrived at our initial location to pick up the truck at 5:30am to discover that the lock box was extremely corroded. We could not get the lock to open, so we called the service centre. The agent told us that the notes suggested that you have to be rough with this lock as it is starting to rust. So, why not change the lock so customers do not struggle? We ended up not being able to remove the lock, and therefore had to wait until 8:00am for another location with the truck we needed to open. This was extremely frustrating as we had already aligned for family to begin helping us move at 6:00am as we were on a strict timeline. This is not the first time we’ve had issues with a mobile pickup with uhaul so I would strongly advise against this.

I was charged $20 for a protection fee. This was not mentioned in my transaction. I’m requesting this to be refunded onto my card. Plus, it seemed expensive when I went over 15km so I would look at a different company next time. Also, online availability is not accurate. I rented a while back from U-Haul and didn’t like it, thought I’d give them another chance and I still don’t have good things to say. I’ll use Penske next time.

Employee at store charged me a late fee for 1.5 hours extra. We had the truck reserved for 5 hours, but the U-Haul website states it’s operates on a 24 hour rental period. I tried calling the pick up store multiple times to see if this was ok, and no one answered. Check out process was slow. Pick up location charged me $1.79 per mile, when I check the website for an estimate it stated $1.09 per mile. Very very disappointed with my experience. I was planning on using U-Haul next weekend to move my belongs, only moved my wife’s belongs this past weekend, but now I am seriously reconsidering. Plan to use enterprise for my next move.

We filled the fuel tank with what we used. The store agent indicated that it was not adequate. We had not option and were charged an extra $16. We also did not expect that a small amount of dust on the floor mat would trigger an additional charge. We chose to clean this ourselves with a cloth - even though there was very little to clean.This was all very disappointing. The process to rent and pick up was simple and fairly fast. The store agent was very kind.

I picked up the rental at 1105 Jalna Blv location. The staff was friendly but couldn’t answer some basic questions about certain costs. But it all worked out. Pick up and drop off was ok. Agent had me go outside to take my own pictures of mileage and gas gauge.

Absolutely the best ever renting from U-Haul experience. The young man was very friendly and helpful. In fact the owner of the store was there when I returned the van. He too was friendly and asked if everything was fine with my rental. I love the fact I can walk less than five minutes to rent a truck or van when required.

The truck reeked of cigarettes and it was completely dusty. They didn't take contactless cards, so I had to get my wife all the way back from our place to bring me a physical card. Not a good experience.

On the day prior, you moved my pickup location to a much further store without any consultation with me, and then charged me for going slightly over the mileage allocation due to the pickup location change. I attempted to use the 24/7 mobile pickup options, but your mobile app didn't work (pages wouldn't load) for either of the pickup or drop off. In this feedback you request ratings of the locations, but not the service overall. The locations were fine, it's your backend services that should be receiving the poor ratings.

Worse customer service. Not even a single responsible person for giving answers to customers. I will be looking for better option then U-Haul. Hopefully never want to come to U-Haul again. Also, this is totally based on my U-Haul experience on Sep 23, 2023. My reservation number was 14000065. If anyone want to verify legitimacy. Thank you.

I was charged the estimate amount upon pick up and the amount was different upon drop off but nothing was refunded. Charges weren’t clear. Not sure how a rental that was 19.99 plus 16$ for insurance and 45 kms at .89 a km could come to 114. It was returned with no need to top up fuel either.

The fuel economy Guage in the vehicle was to say at the best not functional. It went up a quickly dropped back to zero then bounced up and down through out the trip both ways up to max back to zero.You never had a clue as to what was happening on fuel economy.

Terrible customer service Would only take a physical credit card not cash or debt unlike all other vendors I've used Unit was dirty in the back and cab Unit had a engine light on and could barely accelerate on highway 401 unloaded Terrible experience enough to not use uhaul in the future....I'd rather buy a trailer

Location is great, pick up Scheduled at blue j convenient store london. There was no power on that day and they informed they cant do any think and ask ed to call customer service and pick up from available location . Called customer service and spend more than an hour to get my. Haul . Customer service i called put me on hold and two diffrent people attended in between hold and i have to tell the story three time s from the begining . Could be more responsible to customer

Great service at a great affordable price, it was my first time using Uhaul and it helped me work wonders. It has been my first time moving out from my parents and using the truck it helped me get everything to where I needed in one trip. The guy told me I would pay 3 different amount. One time it was 40. The next he said only 10.50 extra for gas. Then I called back because I was charged differently and he said it was because of the kilometres. I don’t understand why I got charged so many different times and in different amounts. Poor communication but then he tried selling me a vape for 20 minutes.

When booking a U haul and it’s written on the website that you can pay cash and you can also book with debit card but it doesn’t allow you to is very frustrating. It’s also headache when you go to pay cash and they tell you they don’t take cash but a previous time we did it worked then our moving day we couldn’t pay cash and having to go back in and then putting down yet another deposit so we can get it to move. It was a headache and it should not be that frustrating.

I had the best experience renting a truck. employees behind the counter are amazing and very helpful. No surprise on the bill as well. by mistake I put an extra gas in the tank and they called Uhaul and refunded me that as well. I would rent from them again in future.

Fix your system so I don't have to hand over a credit card to a complete stranger just to watch them enter my information into a laptop! I didn't pay online for a REASON - I don't want my credit card information out there. Now they have the card, the csv AND my driver's license info. They said the payment system wasn't working so they had to do it this way and if I didn't like it, they will cancel the reservation. I will NEVER use this location again.

The pickup was great. Make sure to get pictures of your gas gauge. They tried to say I didn’t put enough gas in. I had to get my own picture and compare it to the clerk. The clerk stated raising his voice at me. I went 40 km and put $25 of gas in. Be careful renting from this location.

The manager at the store, don't deserve the position, he should be working at the mall food court, empty out the garbage and mab the floor. When he learn the customer service then he may be eligible to work in convenience store. He made me believe as he was the ceo of u-haul. I return the truck with gas above the line when I took it, and drop of two and half hour before my expected time, and I got charge more then estimated amount for 8 hours. I'm all done with u-haul. Never again

Truck was dirty - cab with garbage, food waste and mud, rear with mud and debris that was not suitable for moving my personal items. I ordered 24 moving mats and received none in the truck. After spending time returning to the store, discovered only 12 were available which significantly hindered my move. Store clerk was indifferent and made no effort to assist. Overall a very poor experience.

The door width was listed on your website did not show the correct door width of the actual truck. this caused me to have to load everything that I was trying to bring home on an angle and made loading/unloading of the truck extremely difficult.

It took the guy half an hour to even serve us because he was too busy , and we still had to pay for that half hour as part of our time with the vehicle. The gas tank was nearly empty when we got it.

It was great for what I needed some conserns that I had. The right side mirror couldn't adjust. Was very concerned about my safety. Also I had a hard time filling it back up after I was done. I spilled fuel all over the place. Also there was garbage in the back and a sweater.

Uhaul randomly would shift into a high gear as driving, so it would shift down into 2nd from third while holding throttle steady. Couldn't extend my uhaul, on website or by calling. Always been a good fan i even told the person i returned it at that it was running a lil off. Also not sure why i got charged an extra on my bill. Kinda not impressed by that. Unit was Clean but im not sure the drivabiliry even with out tow haul on it was gear searching or downshufting randomly revs would go to 1500 to 3000.

The location was in the neighborhood which is why it was selected. However, the cab of the truck was dirty and had food left on the floor. The process of picking up the truck was very time consuming 20 minutes at least! This was unexpected, since I had done the reservation on line with all the information that was then requested again by the representative. He also failed to tell us we were required to take a photo of the dash showing the mileage and fuel level, we had to go back out to the truck to take the photo.

The vehicle had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke and the air vent was broken. When I talked to the staff, their answer was "don't worry about it it being cleaned on Monday". There was another vehicle there that was the same size, and when I asked for it, the answer was that it was reserved for someone else, so I could not use it. I explained that I just quit smoking and and would appreciate the switch, but the answer was still no. There was No walkthrough done before leaving or when I arrived back and when I got back I was told I had to go and take a photo of the dashboard to show KM's used and gas level, so the staff could take a photo of my photo..very weird and poor service once again. I will never refer U-haul to any of my clients (I am a real estate broker). The service vs the cost is very very poor.

20 footer truck has bad alignment going all over the road and worse on dirt road. When at full stop it seems truck surges foward fee times while i held on brakes harderèè and couldnt put in park after few forceful tries. Speedometer is in MPH. Cant read KmPH on speedometer.

UHaul was dirty inside the cab and in the back part of the truck. I got charged a cleaning fee although the person before me left the Uhaul dirty and it was not cleaned before I obtained it. Was I supposed to clean up after the previous renter's in order to not get charged?

This was not the location I wanted to pick up my rental from. It ended up costing me more because this location was farther away. I think uhaul should begin dropping off request vehicles at requested sites if they're within a certain distance to prevent further over charging of their customers. Either that or only charge for the amount of kilometers it would have taken to drive from the original pick up location.
