U-Haul wasn't available at the location near me and I don't have a car. That made it very difficult for me to have access to the U-HaulShelby C.
I had a terrible time trying to rent a uhaul on 7/27/22in the afternoon. It took me almost 2hrs for the system to accept my payment. If it wasn't for the employee that helped me I would have left. He was so professional, patient, and dedicated to work as hard as he could to figure out the situation I was having. He was amazing, and I am so extremely grateful for all his help!! I will be recommending this place to everyone! He went way above and beyond! Thank you for having such a great employee:)rosie V.

Drop off was equivalent to putting the keys in a slot - the worker was in the office and was interested in just the keys. He did not leave the office to look at the truck or to verify the blankets were returned. I also did not receive any "sign off" that I had returned the truck. This was NOT BAD but, as I said, the same as just dropping the keys in a slot in the door.Donald L.

When we went in the store to pick up the truck, the office smelled like pot. I took the truck home to load and when I opened it up, it reeked of pot!!! The odor was pungent. I called the store to see about getting a different truck. No answer so I left a message. I left the truck open for a few hours, sprayed air freshener, and after not getting a call back I needed to start loading. I had a 3 hour drive and the smell was even in the cab. I had a really bad headache. When I got to Petaluma to unload my wife could smell the pot as soon as we opened the door. The last item to remove from the truck was the mattress, which now smelled like pot!Eric J.
Previous customer was hours late in returning equipment and there was mud everywhere. The man who waited on me did his best to clean it up. I was not able to do the check out on my mobile due to bad connection issues but the gentleman had me out and on the road in no time once the truck was returned. Way better And faster service at this uhaul location than At the location I rented one 18 months ago.SUZANNE W.

I received a text message to drop off at another location. Drove an extra 12 miles out of my way and the new location is not anywhere to be found. So, back 12 miles to the original location and drop it off. Messages for the next week saying I had not dropped off dolly. Little irritating....Sandy D.

The fuel level was under quarter tank when taken and was returned at same level. The confusion on your side may be because the truck reserved was not available so they had to switch contract to another truck. Fuel level of other truck was on paper. So please remove fuel related charges and refund them promptly.JAI KUMAR K J.

- Add signage where to park to go to the office, but apparently there is not much space The guy said "I'll take care of it"; eventually I did get a receipt, but nothing when I handed keys. If that is standard practice, put it visibly in a brochure or an e-mail. Better yet, anything I suggested by brochure, put it in e-mail so customers can read up well in advance of stressful move day.Tsvetomir P.

Reduce hold time for 800#. My old phone is not compatible with online, so was trying to use your phone services. I was on hold so long my phone went dead. I was trying to reschedule for the next morning, but was unable to get t hru, so uhaul cancelled by reservation, forcing me to wait an extra day to get equipment.denise F.

The van I rented, was not inspected at all, it was dirty not clean, I took pictures and said some to the attendant when I renewed and was told we we will check it out when you return it., when I returned it to another attention I told him that it wasn't clean when I rented it he looked at it and said there would no extra charges. Not happy that uhaul changed settings on my phone during the check in process. My phone now make sound when taking pictures and I can't figure out how to shut it off. Checkin in and out online is impersonal and kills jobs.DEBBIE P.

I traveled from chico to Galt California. Made my reservations in advance. After I rented the truck u-haul contacted me and moved my drop off to a totally different location on the other side of sacramento. I tried calling to change it closer to the location I was moving. And got no help from them. I got the truck. With less then a quarter tank of gas filled it full nintey dollars worth dropped it of with 3 quarters of a tank. Got no discount for that! Found a place on Florin road in Sacramento and dropped the truck there. All while I was moving and travel to Galt. This was very stressful. In an already stressful situation. I had this truck for about 6 hours. And the cost was over 300.00 dollars with alot of problems dealing with you. I am very unhappy with how it was all handled. And honestly I will probably never contact u-haul again. My business did not seem that important to you and a whole lot of grief!TAMI C.

I picked up my uhaul and was told it was the front uhaul but in fact was the back uhaul. Due to covid it was supposed to be cleaned and sanitized but clearly was not and have pictures to show that. I rented the truck for 24 hours and at least 15 miles but had the truck for neither of them and returned it before both of those. This is completely unacceptable and I will never in my life rent from uhaul again.Marissa S.

I was given inaccurate information that I can drop off keys of U Haul at this Filsom location any time of day. I went there at about 6:30 PM, there was no provision of dropping off the truck. The location gates were locked. It was about 9 miles from my house. I made 9 mile trip back to my home and another 5 miles next day to drop it at different location. I had to put approx 18 miles on it bec of incorrect info given to me. I put fuel in it more the limit they ask for. I was charged $6 extra for extra miles used. THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR GIVING ME WRONG INFO OF DROP OFF AND THEY ARE MORE WRONG IN CHARGING ME EXTRA $6 AND SOME CENTS. In fact you guys should give me some money back for the hassle i had to under go.HARPREET K.

The location was fine, but the fact that you sent me to it in the first place when it was hundreds of miles out of my way was unacceptable. The side mirror on the truck was loose and I had to stop at a different uhal location to get it fixed because they couldn't do anything about it at the pickup location.
