The truck was not cleaned out. It still had books in the cab from someone else. The wipers on the truck did not work as expected. The gas tank was only half full. When we returned the truck, we returned it half full and were charged for an additional half tank, even though we returned it at the same fuel level that we received it.Jennifer T.

Location was closed on a Monday when we returned the trailers. It's now Thursday and the trailers we dropped off are in the same spot and look untouched. Why would you have a drop off location and not be open?!Denis W.
Supposed to drop off the trailer at 10 AM. Location closed, repeated calls unanswered ,, not at all clean or pleasant. Had to spend another 20 minutes on the phone, 10 minutes waiting 10 minutes walking through things in a location with very minimal Internet service, to try and check the trailer in online. Horrible horrible location. I was able to submit online, but the invoice they sent me shows is zero balance, and never shows the initial charges having been paid. Very disappointed with this experience. The trailer handled well, but that's about the only thing that went smoothly.stacey S.

I reserved a 5x8 and was given a 6x12 because â€˜that's all they had' at the location even though I made a reservation. Then when I returned the trailer I was charged for a 6x12. NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALLS OR EMAILS FOR A CORRECTION OF THIS. UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Rhea B.

The location was an auto repair/towing business, so there were quite a few cars just sitting around and the gravel lot had a lot of water puddles to dodge. But it was convenient to pull directly off the lot onto a main highway. The passenger seat had white dog hair on it (my wife is very allergic to dogs) and the inside of the windows were smeared, so we cleaned them before driving. The WORST issue was the rental process. An EXTREMELY NICE guy took our reservation information over the phone and was very pleasant. However, he forgot to mention there were TWO U-Haul rental locations in the town. We showed up to the one we had used before at 4:20 pm (our reservation said pick-up time was 4 pm). The location CLOSED at 4 pm - we were not told we HAD to be there before 4. Therefore, we were forced to use the after-hours process to pick up our truck...but we were at the wrong location and did not know it. Even with the live U-Haul person on the phone trying to help us with the website and pick-up process, it took about 45 minutes before they told us there was a different location in the town. Had we been at the correct location to begin with, the process would have been much smoother. It was an extremely frustrating 45 minutes that could have been avoided if EITHER of the live persons we spoke with would have simply said "There are 2 locations, which one are you using?" We were VERY happy that this truck had cruise control and mechanically was fine. However, this was probably one of the ROUGHEST riding vehicles we have ever been in. This was a 26 foot truck (and we were mostly on 4-lane highways), and should not have been this rough. Our only thought was possibly that the tires were over-inflated...but we did not have a tire gauge with us to check them.Ronald K.

Don't cancel my first reservation and have me drive to a completely different location. This location is not responsible for what happened. He was awesome. He was able to make me a second reservation. We didn't have an appliance dolly. That made the whole day worse. The gentlemen informed me anytime Sunday we could return it. Well that wasn't the case I then got an email and text message saying our truck was due back by 6 am keep in mind I would have missed this if our pets didn't wake us up at 6am. I called U-Haul and they said it would be ok to return it later in the day around 12 or 1. She failed to tell me that it was going to be another $116 just because I was not properly informed there was going to be additional charges. I really would like to talk to someone about this matter this whole experience has been bad. Especially for renting my first U-Haul. Last but not least the only reason the vehicle had high mileage was it was the only vehicle I had and I had to travel around to find an appliance dolly. Please call me. 419-341-4255Miguel G.

This isn't reference to the pickup location but rather the app. I signed up to do the self check-in feature and the app wouldn't work. Then when I tried to check the Uhaul truck back in to the drop off location, it had me enter pictures and information twice and then displayed errors saying it couldn't process my request. After 3 times, it told me to just do a night drop off. App is extremely non-user friendly. As far as the location goes, there is no lighting in the parking lot after hours and huge pot holes filled with water. Also, it was very hard to locate the drop off box for the key without any lights.John E.

Thank goodness the manager /owner of the BG Auto store called me at 1pm on a saturday 4/28 to tell me he was closing. I was told by reservations that my pick up was scheduled for 4pm that day.I had made a few calls to reservation weeks ahead to be sure everything was good to go. Everyone I dealt with was very nice, but communication is lacking a little. I didn't know my pick up was in Bowling Green, so my drive was from Fostoria to Maumee (where I thought I was picking up the truck) to Bowling Green then to Perrysburg (where I was moving from) and back to Fostoria (where I was moving to.) I also tried to use the online site to let you know I dropped off the truck when I was done with it, but that didn't work either. All in all, things worked out fine, but I could have used just a tad more information. :-)Robert G.

We dropped it off after hours. It was a trailer, I was kinda worried that someone would pull up and that it. I made sure and took pictures of it after we dropped it off on their proterty. We just didn't know the area, used it to take our son to college. I had called to make sure that I could drop it off after hours. Also I called the next morning to make sure it was still there. Bg auto and truck accessories was very kind and courteous. However uhaul company does not stand by it's guarantees. I had a reservation for a 7am pick up and when I got there the website stated there was no truck ready for my reservation. I had to wait until 9am when the business opened to get the truck I had reserved. On the front of the building was a big banner stating reservation guaranteed or $50 off. Well the card was just charged even though I had disputed the charges on after hours drop off online.Robert L.
While the BG Auto and Truck Accessories was extremely helpful, our overall experience was horrible and was only rectified by this location. They were the location we were supposed to pick up from. Our pickup location and trailer size were changed without our permission or without telling us. The correct location, Falcon Storage, has very poor customer service. They also run a car wash and mad us stand at he counter and wait approximately 15 minutes while they serviced car wash customers who had arrived after we did. Then when our trailer was not there, he was very rude and u sympathetic and just said...you don't have a trailer here...you're at the wrong location, app while we're showing him our text confirmation that indeed we did have a reservation for that location. If it weren't for BG accessories, our 2 1/2 trip to pick up the trailer and move our daughter home from college, would have been for nothing and we wouldn't have been able to move her.Kimberly N.

The location had a gravel parking lot, with plenty of areas of standing water. Not the best looking but it got the job done. It was very easy to drop the truck off and leave the keys and contract in the clearly labeled drop box. I wouldn't necessarily recommend to someone looking for a place they know they'd get taken care of, but I wouldn't hesitate to mention the location to someone, especially for drop off.Anthony M.

Get the correct truck... I came in expecting to be getting a 10' truck and was told I got a 15 foot truck. Then I went out to get the truck and it was a 10' truck with a trailer on it. My reservation was switched to a different location without notification. After spending almost 2 hours trying to get my truck, I received it from this location. The gentleman was as helpful as he could be, but unfortunately Uhaul doesn't allow many changes/compensation to an order unless you contact customer service directly - so spend the same amount and cross your fingers you'll be compensated sometime in the future.Amanda V.

I have to believe there would have been another rental location closer to our moving location in Cleveland that had the size truck we requested other than the one you sent us to. We will be looking to rent a truck in the near future again but not so sure we want to use U Haul!David S.
