But once I got there I had to just get a bigger truck which cost more. But the staff at this location was very nice and really knowledgeable and friendly I really did nothing but give them money and drove away. Was very easy. Then upon arrival to return, a lady met me outside and I went to the restroom and when I came out she had my leftover money ready for me, and I was on my way. Easy peezy. 🥰 The truck was pretty dirty but every time I get uhaul they always are, no matter the location. 🤷🏼♀️ I was very pleased anyhow.

Christine HickeyI payed .99 cents a mile then I had to pay for gas as well. Usually when I rent a truck I have to pay for milage or pay for gas, but not both. It charges me twice for the same thing!

I booked for this location because I have a storage unit there and was delivering furniture to store. I confirmed multiple times with the location that my size was available but Uhaul reservations seemed to want to send me to their company location. Poor customer service.

Gabrielle CorbettRepresentatives did not ask or explain any details about mileage and how many miles they estimated to charge me for. Basically the mileage from pickup location to drop off location with a few extra miles added. Did not take into consideration where we had to go to load our belongings which was about 40 miles more in between drop off and pick up location. I was charged for extra mileage. Also my reservation pick up time was 1pm and the drop off time as 12 pm the next day and that isn't even 24 hours. When I realized the drop off time was 12pm I called to let them know that I was going to not be able to have it back by 12 pm and that wasn't Eve 24 hours. I was informed they would adjust the time to 2pm and implied I would not be charged for extra day but in fact I was. I was charged twice the amount for a one day rental. Representative need to be mor thorough in explaining and gathering details when renting trucks. I am disputing charges and will take my buisness elsewhere in the future.
Franklin SnowdenThe ignition wouldn't allow me to turn the key. Seemed like it had trouble recognizing its in park. Had to sit for 10 mins trying to get the key to turn almost everytime I started it. Not sure what's wrong with 1071. Other than that everything was great.
MICHAEL WHEELERWell maintained facility and very secure. I haven’t had a problem in the two years I used the facility. My only recommendation would be to raise the key pads at the entrance/exit for people in trucks. They currently sit so low that I had to get out of my truck to reach them.

As we unhooked the dolly and rolled it into place, the manager came out and told us good job. Would have been nice if he had asked if we needed any help. It took us nearly 30 minutes to complete the transaction.

Tushar BellairuThe truck seemed to need some steering work, ball joints or something. It died when it came to idle at a stop sign and the engine light came on. It started right back up and had no other issues. It worked fine for moving all of the large objects out of my house and into my new house that is 6 miles away, I wouldn't have wanted to take any long road trips in it though. All in all, my stuff is moved, I am happy.

Nora Fleenor | Overall ExperienceThe reason I moved my things out of this unit is because of the rude lady in the office who had the audacity to charge my account without warning. I came to move some stuff out of my unit on a Sunday since we are moving into a house. First of all, they were doing blacktop which I was unaware of. I didn’t receive an email or a text. Also, I wasn’t the only one there. A couple people were also angry about this as they too were trying to take things out of storage. Second of all, everything in my unit was waterlogged, covered in mold and completely ruined. I had to throw away brand new couches, mattresses, a brand new crib and all kinds of household decor because of this. The dumpsters were full so my husband did his best to put things where they could go as quickly as possible since the blacktop people were yelling at us to leave, which was also extremely rude. Us and some other people were scrambling to get our units taken care of and get out of there. It was also raining so I don’t know how they were going to do blacktop anyways. What really made me upset was, a lady named Sherry called me on Monday while I was working. I called back and no one answered so I was routed to an automated system. A guy answered that and told me he didn’t know why they called and left all my information to have the lady call me. The next day, still no returned call, so I called back again with no answer. The automated call center assured me my note was in there and that someone would call me back even stating they sent out an email to the specific person who called me. I was in New York at this time for a family funeral, when Wednesday I noticed a charge of $150 was taken out of my account. I was obviously enraged since no one had returned my call so I could tell them my unit had water damage and I was dissatisfied. I immediately called the unit and would you imagine, someone actually answered. The lady the answered my call was one of the rudest individuals I have ever spoken with in my life. She explained she charged my account because she is “5’2” and doesn’t like cleaning up after people” she also stated that she “didn’t care my stuff was ruined”. When I told her about the blacktop people she stated “we called and told everyone.” Which was also false. She ended up hanging up on me. I made my husband call back because I was so enraged. When he called and explained everything to her again, she explained she’s too short to deal with the dumpsters and that’s why she charged my account. She also stated she saw me personally on camera overflowing the dumpsters. I am 5 months pregnant. I didn’t put anything in a dumpster. I even asked her if she charged the others who were there the $150 because they too were putting things in the dumpster and she said no she didn’t want to charge them because we had more things. She also then said she was charging me another $150 because “her boss said she could”. When we asked to speak to her boss/supervisor she stated he was out of town. We then asked how he approved of her charging my account fraudulently again if he wasn’t there to hear the situation and she hung up on us again. I called my bank and they put a claim on the charge. I also canceled my card and filed a report with the damages that were done. When we returned from New York, my husband went and emptied out the rest of my unit and we ended up renting somewhere else. My husband went in the office and talked to a different lady who stated what we went through was wrong and my husband even mentioned how the dumpsters were overflowing that day so he had to put some things next to it. She responded: “That’s fine. Rumpke takes care of that anyways. We don’t touch it.” So the lady that’s “5’2” with blonde hair and a massive attitude had no right charging my account. I was a loyal customer for over a year and never missed a payment. The lady I dealt with on the phone is a disgrace to your company. I really hope you guys get her in check and work on your customer service skills for the future.
