12 hours before my pick up time they switched location and I had to adjust my day accordingly. Tried to contact contact u-haul directly and after talking with Samuel at the location, Steven through the 1 800 number, and Chedean with scheduling management it seemed like no one cared to help. I've been a customer of U hauls for over 15 years and for the 1st time ever I will probably look for a truck elsewhereGerrit S.

Pick up location was changed from Barrie to Aurora the day before pick up. Arrived in Aurora on pick up day to no 20' truck. Was told only 15' or 20' truck available is in Coldwater or Huntsville which is 104 and 184km away respectively. My wife called Coldwater to be told that the truck there is not safe for driving which is just as well we called 1st or we could have driven another 104km and still wont have had a truck. My wife had to go online herself and find a truck in queen street Toronto which we were not made aware of. We then asked to get that truck and eventually drove downtown to pick it up. Pretty much all the staff we spoke to on Friday and Saturday were rude, carefree and uninterested. All of this and my wife is pregnant and not supposed to be going through this type of stress. I have never had such a service devout of competence, care, empathy and humanity. I would pay 10 times the amount next time to go with another company.DANIELIFEANYICHU O.

So the following are facts, not opinion: 1. I booked in a store 5 min walking from my house; on the day before Uhaul changed the location to a 20km far. 2. I opted for 24/7 pickup because I needed the truck at 7:30am. When I arrived at the store and tried the proceed the pick up it says I was selected for a hand delivery and I should wait for the store opening at 8 o'clock. The Uhaul guy arrived at 8:20. 3. The Uhaul guy was talking to me and smoking at the sametime. 4. I booked a dolly and they didn't have one. I saw the guy really trying to find it in everyday. And Uhaul charged me for that! 5. I was doing the pick up procedure (like mileage and pictures). As the guy was late and busy he just knock the truck's door and sent me away. So, it was my first time renting Uhaul. All that can be ok for some people. Some of itens I mentioned might be not related to the store. But, in my opinion it's unacceptable.Marcel T.

The worst. Booked the van for 8am. Didn't get out of there until 9am with it. 1 guy working, a dozen clients in line the whole time I was there. Everyone was losing patience. Got the van at half full. Drove 45km, used 1/8 tank. They're trying to charge me $104.50. I have already asked where they get this number from, the next step is calling AMEX and having the charge backcharged. I use Uhaul a lot - but this is ridiculous. I have found them slipping big time. They used to be "so much cheaper" than Budget or Enterprise, but now it seems like it's not worth the bother. When I use Budget or Enterprise, I always have a good experience and never have to worry about them overcharging like this. Uhaul is slipping big time. I am finding this same story at more and more locations downtown Toronto.Sarah L.
Truck was squeaky, AC didn't work, was generally unpleasant compared to other trucks. Owner of location showed up half hour past booking time (took one hour beyond booking time to obtain vehicle), didn't get the vehicle that matched my pictures, owner did not wear mask (incl inside shop), touched many surfaces of the truck without sanitizing prior to use and left his dog inside a truck he gave to a customer (customer had to remind him to remove his dog)Thomas G.

My reservation was for 8:30 and I waited an hour just to find out that they didnt have the truck I ordered causing me to have to give away $1500 worth of patio furniture that wouldnt fit in the smaller truck,Richard L.
The location is grim. More than half of the items I had ordered were not available (this is the morning of the move!) and the staff were not what one would expect from a modern place of work. Not a good experience.Peter R.

Unfriendly and unprofessional service. Didn't have the van I booked so gave me a larger truck that didn't fit in underground parking. Tried to charge me $20 after hours drop off fees even though I requested after hours drop off during my booking and there were no fees indicated. I had questions about my contract and the worker just walked away and told me to come back during regular hours to avoid extra charges. Items were leftover in the truck from previous customer. Transaction was done on the curb in front of a lounge/bar. Customers are left standing there waiting to be serviced by a guy on his cellphone who was busy chatting with his neighborhood buddies. Don't expect to walk into an office or see a person at a desk. Don't except to be treated with respect or professionalism.Abdulla J.
The owners were the nicest Uhaul folks I have ever met. They were exceedingly helpful with getting the van set up and making sure everything was safe and well maintained. Fantastic folks, if I need a van again I'll rent from them even though they are a little out of my way to get to.James M.

I was overcharged for fuel. I was provided with a truck with almost no gas (almost in reserve), drove it a total of 30km and then was charged something like 150 dollars for fuel. The truck was dirty and I had rented dollies and other equipment which was not provided for because apparently they run out of it.Emanuela C.

This review is not about 320 Queen St E, Toronto location. The gentlan there was overworked and still maintained calm demeanor. The ratings I've given are for the location U-Haul at Weston Rd 2753 Weston Rd Toronto, ON M9M2R5 Upon arrival the lady did not acknowledge me. Asked me for last name multiple times regardless of me being slow and offering drivers license. Then asked me for drivers license. Then simply said my vehicle is at 320 Queen location. NOBODY told me this and I traveled from Whitby to this location so that I can make a pick up nearby. Now she refused to give me any evidence that my pick up was changed and I had to ask multiple times to show that my arrangement was moved. At the end, she let me take a photo of her screen and again, did not acklowledge or appologize. She seemed to be someone who don't want to be there and did not care. As I left for Queen street location, someone called me and said I have to be there at 9 AM or it will be canceled. Nobody even called me to say it was moved to downtown. I had to drive excessive speeds, just to arrive at Queen street by 9 AM. Then I had to drive back to original locaiton to do a pick up - this wasted my car gas and put extra miles on UHaul truck and wasted mine and brothers' valuable 2 hours. Horrible experience and miscommunication on your end.Bibushanan A.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. My vehicle was ready on time and was super easy to access and to park. Really happy with this location. Will definitely use it again. There was a dashboard alert that the RR tire pressure was low, but it looked like it was ok. Would have been nice to have gotten a heads up about that.Elizabeth M.

Hi, I think there is a mistake in my receipt. I was charged for 48 kilometers of a distance fee however, I really drove just ~12 kilometers. My trip was (all locations are in Toronto): 1. 330 Queen Street East to 7 Grenville Street ~4km 2. 7 Grenville street to 17 Bathurst Street ~ 5km 3. 17 Bathurst to 330 Queen Street East ~ 3km Also, I have declined "Safe Trip Fee", hover I see this charge on my receipt. My only concern is the time it took to pick up the truck despite having completed all the online checkings beforehand. My pickup time was 8am and I called the facility at 7:30 AM asking what time I should arrive at and I was told to arrive at 8:00 am. Upon arriving, the person was busy with the previous customer and we were able to pick up the truck after 9 am. It may not seem like a hurdle but I only had a two hour elevator slot to move out of my condo, out of which more than one hour had already been wasted waiting. There were two other people waiting AFTER me for an 8 o clock pickup. I don't know how long it must have took for them. Secondly, I ordered a dolly but I was simply told on the days of pickup that the dolly wasn't available. Everything else was excellent and we didn't have any difficulties in the move. But this initial delay and unreliability of equipment availability will make me think twice before going for uHaul again or recommending it to a friend. Please speed this process up.Yashdeepsinh J.

When I made the original booking I selected a convenient drop off location. For some reason U-Haul changed the drop off location and then didn't tell me until the day of the move. During my move I had to waste time negotiating a new drop off location to one that wasn't way out of my way. Two days after drop off this location still hasn't completed the check in process so I haven't received my final invoice. I know I will be overcharged because U-Haul will screw that up.PAUL H.

The person in charge at the location was not wearing a mask and he was not very helpful. He gave me incorrect information and can use some lessons on customer service. As well, I received an invoice from u-haul and when I checked my visa on line I saw that Bosso Lounge charged me twice the price that the u-haul contract stated. Unless this is rectified, I will be sure to share this with friends and family. Please contact me immediately. I called U-Haul and sat on phone for over an hour last night and I am on hold again today.Rob F.
