Things for U-Haul to improve:- + Be on time! I booked a van for 11:30am, but I wasn't seen to until 12 noon. + Be transparent about charges - I have been overcharged, but I have been reassured that I will be refunded an amount to reflect the prices I saw when I booked the van online. Apparently this happens a lot. + There is no customer parking here. Having customer parking here would be a great feature, as I had to get public transport to get to the location so I wouldn't have to scrabble for street parking.David Neil Patri P.

I reserved a 15' truck for 10am. I arrived at 10:30, there were about 6 groups in line ahead of me. I didn't get the truck until 11:45. Unfortunately I had my moving elevator booked from 11-1 so ate up a lot of the moving time. These 2 guys appeared to be working hard, using van/scooter to go get the vehicles, although there appeared to be many vehicles closer. There must be a more efficient way to check people in than 15 min per group, when I had already checked in online. Will not be using this location again.Sarah B.

It took an hour and 15 minutes to get the truck (booked at 8AM, obtained at 9:15AM), and when we got the truck it clearly hadn't been cleaned as there were cigarette butts and garbage in the back. Additionally, despite reserving various dollys months in advance we were informed that they didn't have those items available. The staff were kind and generally helpful, just overwhelmed.Colin A.

The Guys who works there are nasty and rude.They dont value and prioritize time for clients.we waited in the long Quee for long the guys are short staffes and it seem they dont care about Customers.They dont really check out theit trucks in time and they gave me truvk with transmission faulty and i lost money on gas because the truck was travelling on low gears due to its faukty transmisions yet the bill was given was charged fuel fee .I reported the faulty on the truck but the customers service guys ignored and never apologised it seems they didnt care or they gave me poor truck with faulty deliberately.i felt mistreated and like Uhaul have scammed me with their poor service .i lost client andnj lost businessCHAMUNORWA M.

Pickup was quite bad - the 15' truck we had reserved was not available, neither was the cart or the blankets. After 30min of going in and out of a truck and checking something on his phone, without telling us or the other 5 people waiting what's going on (I assume he tried to reserve some other truck or so), the staff got us a massive 26' truck instead. In fairness it was for the same price, but it was a pain to get in and out of the condo's delivery bay. The staff picking doing the inspection on contrary was great - he was friendly and super helpful.Michael M.

The one person who was running the location turned up well after the scheduled opening time, causing panic among the customers who had scheduled house moves. This was the case both at pick up and when I dropped it off. This was at Queen St Toronto, it is a key drop, and we were confused as to where to park the truck, as there was only space for 6 trucks and it was all full, we saw more trucks parked around the block, but all illegally parked. Then a person came out of a shack and told us to park in front of a fire hydrant and they'd take care of it. The shack didn't have clear signage from the street that it was UHaul, it looked really rundown, the 2 people were helpful, but it wasn't the normal UHaul standard, and seemed sketchy. I wouldn't have gone there, if I had known that in advance.Melissa D.

The owner of Basdo Lounge arrived 45 minutes late. We were told that they opened at 8:00am but they arrived just before 9:00am. We had ordered blankets and two dollies but only received one dolly. We had to call to ask for a credit and only received a credit for the blankets. In addition we were charged an extra $105.00 over and above the contract rate. No explanation given. When I called I was told it was a deposit but I have yet to see a refund.William K.
