There’s far too many things. Instructions were unclear during pickup. I took a picture to check out but it wouldn’t let me on the app, and the store took 3 days to check me out just to find out I was charged 250 dollars for driving 5 miles. Completely random numbers for distance driven and gas filled. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend using this service at this location.

Arrived on time, but no one was there. Called the phone number, and he said he was busy with another client. Waited 15-20 minutes before he showed up, and he spoke with other people who arrived after us first. The truck itself was good, but the overall experience with the location wasn't.

We waited almost forty minutes for our truck only to find out they didn’t have the right size for us. Luckily they upgraded us for no charge BUT we did not have enough stuff to fill the truck and the gas was obviously more expensive. Our truck was also covered in mouse poop - so now all in our stuff is too.

Hi i just rent this location 15 ft truck and drive 18 kms they charge me $133.85 and then i call custimer service and just got refund so its bad for me

At least our truck was there at the planned time, which is the most important. It was not clean. The attitude of the employee was very cynical. Towards the end he pulled the truck in the middle of the street while we were inspecting the back which is very unsafe and I therefore had to start driving in a hurry without adjusting the seat and mirrors because the truck blocked to way to a bus.

Reservation was for 9:30 am and no one on lot until close to 10. Was told 15’ truck not available even though I had reserved it. Was told furniture dolly’s not there but eventually two of the three provided after some delay. I am waiting for a credit for the third dolly I did not receive. The 15’ truck was in fact on the lot but boxed in by other 10’ trucks so it seemed it was an excuse not to move them.

After making and confirming my reservation (using my credit card) the night before pickup, I thought I would walk into Starbanks convenience store, do paperwork, get keys and go. That did not happen. The clerk kept telling me i had to confirm on the UHAUL site and they would send me a 4 digit code to a lockbox on the back of the truck. I showed him my confirmation on the UHAUL app, including the estimated total. That's where it got really confusing, as he kept insisting payment was between UHAUL and me, as he was only a 3rd party, and once I completed my reservation online I would be sent a 4 digit code to the lockbox on the back of the truck. I've been there for 30 mins.... we were only moving a couch I needed to speak to somebody that could help me, so I called UHAUL, waited 10 mins, spoke to an American rep, that advised me that store does not use truckshare (store clerk stood behind his computer, got my 3 one time only messages lol) and that what the issue was. I was transferred to Alex CSR (Durham Region) he was amazing, he manually created and confirmed my new reservation, and verbally gave me the 4 digit code. Unfortunately, the lock did not work. At this point, I just need to get this move done, so I asked Alex for the next closest location. He told me 320 Queen St E, and he would call ahead to let owner know I would be arriving there shortly. We got there, called the owner, we did the contract on his phone, he went to prepare the truck for us (AC was perfect temperature) he adjusted passenger side mirrors, and we were off. I really appreciate these two men, they made our day so much better. I will definitely use this location again and recommend to anyone looking for a helpful, knowledgeable and kind person, as MOVING will always be a stressful day. Thank you

I was told by customer service that I could get my uhaul moving van from 705 Queen St E, Toronto, ON M4M 1G6. Yet this location has no actual Uhaul worker to help and the phone number is useless. It is a drop of location only from what I could tell. This made me waste time and money to get there. I called the 320 Queen St E, Toronto, ON M5A 1S8 location and they saved my day. Please be sure to inform your customer serivce people that is 705 Queen St E, Toronto, ON M4M 1G6 is not a place where you can pick up your vehicle or have any uhaul workers there for guidance

Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to formally dispute the charges applied to my recent rental, Contract Number [Your Contract Number]. I was charged $327 for a cleaning fee and $74 for fuel. When I contacted the vendor, they claimed that the charges included parking and towing fees as the vehicle was parked in a no-stopping zone. On the morning of [Date], around 6:30 AM, I arrived to return the U-Haul vehicle. The designated parking lot was completely full, and there was no available space to park. As this was outside of office hours, I did not have the option to wait for someone to assist me. Therefore, I parked the vehicle in the same spot on the street where I had picked it up the day before. I believe it is the vendor's responsibility to ensure that there are adequate provisions for parking returned vehicles. Additionally, I was charged for 23 liters of fuel. However, the vehicle was returned with only slightly less fuel than it was initially provided, specifically 1/8 of a full tank, which certainly does not equate to 23 liters. I have attached proof to substantiate my claim. In light of these circumstances, I request a full refund of the $327 cleaning fee and the $74 fuel charge. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

This was the cleanest Uhaul I've driven. When i got there, there was a cleaner actively cleaning the trucks. The owner of the lot was so nice and very thorough with instructions.

Avoid this location at all costs. This was the worst, most unprofessional experience I have ever had with uhaul. The check-in spot is a tiny shack where I was pressured into signing documents on an ipad while being yelled at by the attendant. I found out later that extra "safemove" coverage charges were added without my knowledge and the location of my drop off was changed. The vehicle handover was a disaster. The attendant positioned the 15ft uhaul truck blocking the sidewalk and a portion of the busy street, and told me to be on my way. I tried to inspect the vehicle - which was very difficult in this position - and found out that the windows and the rear door were left open all night in the rain (the attendant confirmed this). When I asked for a different vehicle, he informed me that this was the last one-way truck in the city, and to get on my way. As I continued to check the truck, I was yelled at by people on the sidewalk and told to get going. Running out of options, I pulled out off of the sidewalk and merged into the street. When I did, I found out that the attendant had left the floor guard OVER THE GAS PEDAL. I had to immediately pull over and fix this. Luckily, I was able to pull over without hitting anything. I cannot recommend this location to anyone. I have had much better experiences with other locations in the downtown area and this place is an embarrassment to uhaul as a company.

The person managing the site is very arrogant and has an extremely bad attitude. He behaved as if we came to beg for his mercy while we came to rent the truck for which we paid. When returning the truck, he got angry because I parked it exactly where I got it from. Apparently, he can't reverse the truck back to the main road. I will never rent form this place nor I will recommend it to any one.

My reserved truck was 3 trucks blocked in so I wasn't able to use the self check-in feature. The store was closed when I arrived at 11am for my pick up. I called the location number only to find that the operator was 1-hour away. I ended up picking up another truck at 12pm (1-hr late) and the fuel tank was literally empty with 20miles left. I had to fill up the truck before going to my moving location. All in all, I wasted 1.5hr before moving. This ate into my elevator booking time from 12pm to 2pm. I was not able to move my stuff in a timely manner and had to go back and use my own car and make multiple trips. This was an overall TERRIBLE experience.

They checked-in the vehicle as it had almost half tank, when in reality I received it with the tank slightly over the quarter. I returned the vehicle with the same gas level as I received it (I took picture before and after). After the check-out I got charged about $30 for not dropping off the truck with the same gas level. I contacted the location and they said they will get back to me. I feel ghosted since I don’t have a solution yet. Would like a timely solution please.

Hi, I would like to be reimbursed for the gas I put in the U-Hal. I received it at ¼ tank and returned it full. Please see the attached recite. 151.42L is the tank size, I received it at 37.86L, I put in 108L. So I used 5.55L of fuel. Full tank minus what I put in: 151.42-108.007 = 43.41 What I used, the difference minus what I received the truck at: 43.41-37.86 = 5.55 Cost of the fuel: 185.34/108.007 = 1.716 1.716 * 5.55L = $9.52 Please send me back $175.82 for the fuel. I would also like a partial compensation on the U-Hal rental as it was 2 and a half hours late, arriving at 8pm when I had it booked for 5:30pm. I had a moving elevator in my condo booked from 6-8pm and I was unable to use it because I was unable to get the U-Hal on time. Due to this I had 2 movers I paid for helping me waiting for the truck doing nothing and we had to use the regular elevator instead of the moving elevator which drastically slowed down our timelines causing us to work until 2am. When we received the truck Sam said that he would not charge for the mats or the dolly as we were in a rush so he didn’t take it out. He did charge for the mats an dolly so please reimburse me for it. Please send me back $36.16 for the mats and dolly charge. I also never received the reimbursement for sweeping which was $25. Overall, please send me $236.98 plus the additional compensation on the initial rental as it was 2.5 hours late which made me lose my moving elevator and most me more for my movers. Thank you, Chris
