Pick-up was challenging. We arrived at 6:20 am. Reservation was for 6:30 am and location was allegedly open. You arrive, there is no obvious depot. Uhaul vehicles all over the street. There is a buzzer for service, but it doesn't work. We called the local # and a young man answered and said he would be right out. He was very friendly when he arrived, but had to spend 15 minutes figuring our which vehicle. We received the vehicle at 7:10 am. The vehicle was only available to us until 12:30 pm. Losing 40 minutes was problem, particularly that we booked for early morning to get started.

We waited 45 minutes for someone to show up and help us - our drop off location was also changed making it very inconvenient while trying to move to be delayed and then having to pick up our vehicle after to drive to our location. I called 3x about this and was told a different message everytime in regards to being compensated. The last call took 25 minutes of waiting for her to tell me I had to go back to the original location for reimbursement.

i asked for a 15 ft truck but i got a 10 ft i was told take it or leave it, also your app is really slowand the location on innisfil rd needs lighting it was pitch dark when i dropped off the keys could not see a thing.

Even though that I have made a reservation for a truck and rental moving equipment they mentioned that they don't have any equipment available. They simply don't understand what reservation means. 5 mins after pickup, they called that I can't have the current truck and they are bringing me a new one and made me loose my elevator booking timeslot. Worst location ever.

We had to wait a bit because the client ahead of us had issues with his reservation even though he booked his truck a week in advance. When it was our turn, our truck was ready but the man could not find the keys for the truck so we waited a bit more. Other than being a bit disorganized, everything else went smoothly, the staff was friendly and flexible which makes up for the wait time.

This place is amazing! It's the only place where you can rent a truck at 6AM anywhere, I had an early start, please make sure to wait. I was impatient because the owner didn't get out until 6:15 am and I was worried I'd be too late since I had to have an early start. I cancelled my reservation like an idiot. He was kind enough to rebook it, made the process very easy. This guy has many trucks all lined up in the alleyway. Very professional and easy going. I highly recommend this place.

The queen street office at Queen and parliament. The staff are very professional and helpful. My wife and I rented from them for 2 days and the staff that work are pros at their jobs. This location does not offer anywhere to stop on site, is basically an alley between two buildings. There was no one in the tiny makeshift office, and after waiting, I was told that he would check in the car in "a while after he deals with other cars" even though I seemed to be the only one there. He told me it was fine to leave as long as I had filled the tank (which I did), and I didn't get confirmation of the return for a couple of hours. The experience was unsettling, and the location was not good. I returned the vehicle clean, unlike how I picked it up. Seriously disappointed with the entire experience on both ends.

Extremely rude staff at pickup, was 30 min late coming to give keys and had the nerve to accuse me of being late. The 24/7 service button outside the location doesn't work, and most of the equipment I ordered wasn't in the truck. They took the missing equipment off the bill, but had an attitude about it. Drop off staff in the afternoon was very nice and helpful however.

1) Have extras (e.g. dolly) ready so customer can set off on time. 2) Greet customers and not focus on talking to friend. 3) Have dedicated on-site parking. 4) Clean vehicles before passing to customer - old bags were left from the previous driver.

Merchant charged me for additional 7 liters for fuel plus a $30 sur charge plus HST even though I filled fuel to the pre-ride tank level. I had taken pictures of the dashboard with mileage of the truck and fuel level before and after the ride as well as a picture of the receipt for the filled gas to prove that I put enough fuel and I have sent them to the merchant for proof after I spoke with him about it. Yet after our conversation he stopped responding to my calls and messages and never reversed the charge. Now I am challenging the charge on my Visa. Overall, this is a very frustrating and time consuming experience! For future clients, please take pictures of the dashboard and track before and after the ride so you have a proof in case of a dispute!

Great and easy experience, truck was ready to go, the person at the location was very helpful and easy to deal with and the return experience was straight forward as well. Pay Street parking around was easy as well as finding some free parking within walking distance.

The U-Haul truck, worked fine and there were no problems. The sour-bitter moment was picking up the vehicle, the truck the app told me was not there and when I asked the person they weren't to happy helping. After a bit he said I didn't have a reservation and had to tell him twice I did and showed the app then he went in a car gave and said “this one. Now go” no explanation or anything I had to walk around and make sure it was fine. Not the best customer service experience. Besides this, credit to the end-to-end process the booking, the app, no problem at all besides the one above.

Instruct individuals how electronic emails/receipts work so your customers are not confused when they receive 4 identical emails with invoices attached. 4 identical contract agreements as well and make sure that nothing is left in the rentals such as old tarps that can fly out of a pickup along the highway that can cause an accident and possibly kill someone.

Vehicle was dirty inside the cargo area, there was an air blower i used to clean it, I also requested a dolly and there was non available so i was offered a flat bed dolly as the only option and I was still charged for it, not sure what is the point of booking in advance if dolly is not set aside

The gentleman checking me in was wonderful. He runs an efficient business which was extremely busy when I arrived. That being said, I was processed through in no time. Drop off was a breeze and the cost was shockingly low. Thanks for making a tough day really smooth!!

The staff does not give proper information. When I returned the truck, they didnt tell me that I should complete the check out online even though I asked them. I realized that I was supposed to do it on the half way back home and I had to go back to the place. I believe they should inform the customers in advance for all the details!

The credit/debit system was down in the city when I was returning the car. The gas station was across the street. The consumption was low (1/8). The Uhaul agent told me I might be charged for around 10 more dollars for fuel service. I was charged for 30gas+30service.

Have rented a 15 feet truck on 2023/09/23. 1. Gas is almost empty, at most 1/8. and the 15 milege gas notification is there. 2. There are lots of garbage in the truck, like cups/beverage/kids tools. etc, and the ramp is oily and slippery. 3. Since the truck is extremly low on fuel, so I addes CAD 150 gas, my total milege is 80-90. and the gas is 1/2-5/8 when I return. and it only gave me fuel adjustment CAD 53.9.

We reserved a 26 foot truck. When we showed up, there was a 26 foot truck parked out front but we were told it was reserved for someone else and they could only give us a 20 foot truck.

The people working here were pretty unprofessional and careless. They were initially late and we had to wait around 15 minutes for the person working there to come back. When he got there he had a pretty unprofessional attitude aswell.

1. The person on site provided me with a vehicle with an empty gas tank and indicated that the truck had a 1/3 amount of gas in the tank. 2. I had to wait over an hour to get possession of the truck. I was moving out of a condo and the elevators are scheduled for only a 1.5/2 hrs window. This issue caused me to run out of time during my moving and I had to wait an additional 4 hours to get a second schedule for the elevator as it was close to the end of the month, and I was not the only one moving out of the building. Plus, the truck had an empty tank, so I had to stop to buy gas, adding more delays. 3. I called the location to inform them about the error they made on the gas, and no one picked up the calls. 4. When I got back to the location to return the truck, I told the UHaul representative about the issue, and he also had a drunk friend onsite who started fighting with me physically and got very violent. Violence is the last situation I would expect to happen on a UHaul site after renting a truck. I was scared for my life and nearly got the police involved. I will never use UHAL again and I will never recommend this location to my enemy. This whole situation should have not occurred if UHAL takes customer experience seriously.

I have been charged 15.52$ extra after already filling a full tank in the U Haul. I have a photo of the fuel gauge and the receipts for the fuel. Also the U Haul per km price was $1.69 at the time of booking and I have been charged $1.75 for the same.

Better communication, discuss the rates and not inflate mileage. I went 33kms and was expecting 1.09/km as per website but was charged 50km at 1.75! I brought this up on Uhaul Chat and was told the contract was sent to me via email and it was high demand and that was the reason for the inflated rate. Well, I showed up 3 hrs early and was able to get my reservation then (so much for the high demand). Nothing else was asked of me, like drivers license, nothing was mentioned about rates or even that the contract was being emailed to me. Not sure about Uhaul, but I do not use my phone while driving. I was handed the keys, he pointed to the truck and said to take a photo of the fuel gauge and return filled to that level. When I returned, another worker took my keys and asked where the truck was parked then said that's all, and walked into the office.
