wyle JWe reserved a 17 foot truck for 24 hours (from 3 PM to 3 PM), but arrived to be told that the location had rented the 17 foot truck the next morning at 0900. We had to take a smaller truck and will have to do a second rental next weekend. It was disappointing to say the least.

austin cIt costed much more then it would have been if I would have rented the vehicle from my storage shed but they didnt have pickup truck which is what I wanted but I didn't get it anyway because of the deposit I took out of my bank account and had cash when I went down to get it, so I could only rent a 10 ft which the mile costed more the insure was more, and add miles to the trip that I would have only driven 12 miles instead of 33 miles plus the cost of a uber ride out and back to get the truck I didnt get so no I wasnt very happy with what happened I was given 50 back on the rental but my first experience renting from you wasn't a good one
Pamela MThe only issue I have with the whole rental experience is the mileage allowance. If the attendant hadn’t provided an additional 15 miles at check in there would be no way I could have completed the move as allowed. He said U-Haul typically underestimates the mileage to Denver. Feels like a money making scam to me. Otherwise it was a very smooth move, professional at both ends and a nice truck.

Kurt OI had to appointment at another U-Haul store in name was customs the guy did a good job he really tried to help me I give him a lot of respect his system was not working right so he called for help at U-Haul customer service or something when they gave my hard time so overall customer service trying to help the workers they kind of sucks but customer service as a customer in the store is great
Thomas SThe staff at Uhaul on Tejon were professional, and nice - especially so early in the morning. They confirmed my order and made sure I had what I needed for the day. It was snowing and 4 degrees - the staff started the truck so it was warm when I got in for my day of moving. I really appreciated the kindness. The truck was comfortable and easy to drive and the equipment I rented was close to being new.

Stan JThe noticed mechanical problems to first truck I was assigned before I left the lot. I had to go back inside the office to be reassigned another truck. After that process, the service and truck was great. The fact that the employee took the time and concern to correct the problem.
CYNTHIA KI had a reservation for a vehicle trailer. When I picked up the trailer it was covered with snow and ice. I had to ask for a broom to clean the snow off. One of the employees came out and tried to clean off the snow the best he could. When I tried to load a vehicle on the trailer there was ice on the ramps. I was able to drive the vehicle where the front wheels were on the trailer, but due to the ice on the ramps the rear wheels slid sideways and the vehicle became stuck with barely any rear tires on the ramps. I ended up having to call a tow truck to assist in getting my vehicle off of the trailer safely, but one of the plastic rocker panels was damaged by the trailer. The trailer was unusable due to the ice on the ramps, so I took the trailer back and explained the issue to the U-haul employee, but was still charged for a trailer I could not use. I have rented U-haul vehicle trailers many times with no issues.

TOM BIn general terms, it would be nice if U-Haul offered military discounts. Prices are almost double those from two years ago, and U-Haul is at the top of the pricing structure. Also, there seemed to be significant demand for trucks in that we were asked a few times to confirm drop off details, so trucks could be available for the next customer. If we drop off a truck a full day and a half before the due date, it would be nice to get some type of credit for an early return (or a daily rental fee option). It seems the company can double its revenue by collecting from the current and new customer for overlapping time periods, which does not seem right.
Jason WEasy, friendly, reasonable price. I’ll definitely use them again. I used to use Home Depot for a quick truck rental. I used the 10 ft cargo can and for comparable price it was a great experience.

MICHAEL BLocation is too small for the size & number of trucks on property. There was only room for one person to drop off at a time, resulting in having to circle the block a LONG time. But once it is your turn, the staff gets you right in and out.
