Have the truck I originally reserved online available the day you allow me to book it and at the location I requested. The whole self service process was terrible. Very confusing without a whole lot of direction. I won't rent another truck this way again. Almost didn't even get a truck at all.

They weren't ready or prepared for me at my scheduled time and didn't have the moving blankets I needed. I'm completely disappointed and will not use uhaul in the future.

The truck wasn't swept or cleaned inside. The cab smelled of smoke (granted, hard to remove), but there were also old candies and dirt on the floor. The dashboard, seats, steering wheel, and cup holders seemed spattered with old soda. There were some sticky spots. The cargo bay was in good condition but still needed some sweeping to remove old jigsaw puzzle pieces and scraps from past customers. Additionally, the tow dolley had a broken taillight, while the other at the location had a damaged fender. On the bright side, the guy was very friendly and extremely resourceful in fixing the broken light with his own equipment/tools right then (and by salvaging the tail light from the other dolley, not sure what unlucky customer got that one). Overall, a bit of a mixed bag. UHaul bears some responsibility in keeping the location supplied with functional equipment but more cleaning could've been done as well.

Make sure to contact the customer before to let them know that this is the location to pick up instead of the preferred location. I went to my preferred location because I never received any other information. The gentlemen that helped me here was very friendly and helpful when backing up to trailer. I would refer this place to friends and family

I wouldn't recommend any thing about u-haul. It was nothing short of a nightmare! I did a reservation in advance and found out the place I picked didn't do rentals. I even picked a time and was told I had to wait until 4:30 in the afternoon at a totally different place. They don't let you know you can't pick place or time just the rental. Next time I will go with a different company!!?

The reservation process through uhaul.com is very frustrating. I tried to reserve at a location that indicated limited availability, but instead the reservation ended up in longmont. I wasn't given any explanation other than an email to online check in with the longmont location. I cancelled and tried again. This time someone called me to tell me my reservation was being moved to longmont, which was better because at least I had a reason this time. However, when the reservation day came, i looked back and my email and realized it had been moved again to Advanced Diesel. When I arrived, there was no record of my reservation (which had apparently been moved to them 2 days earlier). Just as we completed filling out all the paperwork again (I had online checked in but it wasn't recorded), my reservation showed up with Advanced Diesel. I was very happy with how Advance Diesel handled everything, but the infrastructure behind uhaul is a mess it would appear. Not happy with that at all.

There was no one manning the location. I am an out of towner returning my rental to a location that doesn't have consistent phone service. Calling the UHAUL customer service was WORTHLESS. They were not very understanding and wants to charge me for $20.00 convenient fee. Your application should NOT JUST work on a mobile and be on the spot. I understand the need to assure that a non-person drop off would have to be at the location. The owner of the location was not onsite when we returned the trailer. Also, when we came back a second time, he was no where to be seen.

This seems to be a self servicing station only. So best for people that fully know how to connect and remove a trailer. The U Haul app was not working on my phone browser, so I couldn't do the self check-in. I talked to the friendly people inside and initially they didn't know what to do and after a phone call they offered to check-in the trailer for me. The next day I called U Haul and the trailer was still not checked in, so they must have forgotten it, probably because it was a very rare occurrence. So station is only recommended for people fully knowing what they are doing.
