This was not our intended pick up location-reservation got switched by uhaul the day prior to pick up. Location was not terribly easy to find, but the gentleman working there was incredibly nice and accommodating. Vehicle was clean and ready.Craig N.
The location is interesting with the office on the third floor but the gentleman we had helping us was simply amazing. He was super patient and answered all our questions with ease. The truck itself was dirty, but that's the fault of the people before us, so can't blame the location for that.Marcus G.

Mobile check-in was a pain. I reserved the truck, but my husband was the driver. The pan part came when we had t find someone for you to call and and get confirmation. Using either of our numbers was not allowed. What a pain - most people won't pick an unknow call. So trying to get a hold of someone to let them know you were calling and to ask them to please answer the phone was a real pain. Otherwise the reservation went pretty well.Stephan K.
The drivers side floor of the vehicle was incredibly muddy. Which was a minor thing. The biggest issue was I could not find the drop box. I drive around the property 3 times. Walked up to the third floor to the office 3 times. Looked literally everywhere for the drop box. Ended up just sliding the key under the door. Still don't know if there is an actual drop box or where it is if it is real. Everything else was fine.Michael D.

Staff member was very rude and approached us with a horrible attitude â€œwhy are you messing with my truckâ€?â€ When we were just â€œlocating our truckâ€ as the MOBILE PICK UP setting advised us to do. He didn't even asked if we had a rental or something he could do to help us. He was just very rude and unpleasant.Charles M.

Signs were unclear as to where to park the truck. The lock box was easy to find and there was not signage on how to locate it. Uhaul app on my phone wouldn't accept pictures and let me check it in. Also no one picked up the phone when I called for help.Lucas W.
I have rent uhauls on numerous occasions. This location is by far the most friendliest location. Felt like I knew the man for years and never even met him. Explained the insurance plans to me and wasn't upset cause I chose no on the app and changed it to yes after speaking to him. Your web based service is excellent. It would have been nice to have known ahead of time about two references being needed who would ge contacted by phone. If I had known that, I could have let them know ahead of time to ge expecting a call from an unknown number at a certain time of day. Not many people answer phone calls from unknown numbers.Eric S.

Gps wasn't able to locate me had to go to uhal rep. Easier access couldn't get in lock box to get key out tried so Many times. Had to make second trip for uhaul rep to help get key out.Latasha W.

I was not happy with my experience. I made a reservation for one place when I got there I was told that I needed to go to another location. Went to another location on another side of town. When I get to that location I was told that the truck that was for me wasn't gonna be in until 4 pm so That gentleman called somewhere else and found me a bigger truck but guess whatâ€¦ I had to drive to another location to pick that truck up. My reservation was for 11am and since I had to go to several different locations I wasn't able to get started with my move until after 1pm. I inquired about the $50 reservation guarantee but no one ever answered me. Not sure if I will ever use U Haul again.Erika T.

Start to finish and overall terrible experience. Their drive/entrances were all destroyed with craters and potholes. The fleet of vehicles and trailers were very slim and no one was available outside. You have to go to the third floor and hunt down a representative. If I were you, I would just skip this one and use any other U-Haul location. I wouldn't work with these people again if it were a last resort. Everyone we spoke with was rude. Customer Service was extremely rude and had nasty attitude. They accused us of stealing a trailer. Overall, 1 out of 5, and that's only because we were able to make it work in the end. Not accommodating and definitely not helpful. Not easily accessible. Not friendly. Not cooperative.SARAH C.

A little confusion when I showed up a little before my reservation time and I could not find my van or anyone to help me, but John showed up right at 5:30 after filling the tire with air and got me checked in. Handled the mobile check in for me and got me on my way. Called me the next day to make arrangements to pick KC up the gloves I left in the van. Appreciate the extra effort! John will be the reason I come back to this location.Mike K.

My biggest complaint is with UHaul corporate, not this location. The location was ... immaterial. My complaint is your corporate practice on taxes: The taxes were not mentioned at all on the website when I was initially researching options and choosing between different companies. I was hit with an extra $130 charge that I was not expecting when I was in the office getting the truck keys. Very sneaky business maneuver -- I was on a timeline (as most are!), and it was too late to back out when learning of this last minute -- I will be actively telling folks about this and discouraging them from using UHaul for this reason. One should be shown the complete and total price tag up front *before* committing. Anything less is shady -- and I suspect you know it. Absolutely not cool.KEVIN H.

The lockbox was impossible to open. When we called someone about it, the lady on the phone was really rude. We had to wait an hour and a half for the store to open so someone could get our keys out of the box. That guy was nice and super helpful!Anna F.

My original reservation was at Ward Trucking. I arrived to find a note on the door saying they'd be back in 10. After waiting, I left and returned 15 mins later and my reserved truck had been given to an online check-in. I then had to drive across town to this location. Office is on third floor with no signage and not in the stated suite number. I was given a larger 15' truck and went back to first floor and around building to truck only to find out it wouldn't start and had to trek back up to third floorâ€¦Chad W.

Truck smelled and was all over the road. Everytime an email was sent or text the link was not valid because my account said I had no reservation on file. I would call and call and could never speak to anyone about my problems when I needed to. I believe I deserve some sort of refund for the horrible experience and bad customer service.Matthew L.

I arrived on time to pick up my truck. I was third in line, and in the 30 minutes I was waiting in line, I was marked as â€œlateâ€ and my truck was rented to someone else. Absolutely awful experience. Not only was I not able to pick up my vehicle at the reserved time, but the vehicle broke down during the middle of a move that was only 1 mile away. And when roadside assistance was requested, the first 90 minute ETA amounted to no technician showing up and only after the second ETA of 60 minutes did the technician show up to fix the vehicle. I should not have to pay for this service as the service FAILED me.Austin G.

When the reservation was made, we scheduled to pick it up in Avon, IN. When we didn't receive the promised confirmation 24 hours ahead of time. We called to confirm, and learned we had to drive 40 minutes farther to pick up a different truck, and that the padding we ordered 6 wks ahead weren't available AT ALL.Lisa N.

The owner, John, was helpful and kind. The car dolly had a broken tire strap ratchet and John fixed it and I was on my way. After 2 hours of driving, the ratchet became loose again and I had to fix it. I told the uhaul dealer when I dropped it off that the ratchet needs repair.Rebecca E.
My location was switched the day before. I was promised the truck at 9 this location opened at 10am. The location only had 1 employee. We had to wait for approximately an hour for a safety check for the trailer. The employee was very nice and helpful but this delayed my moving tremendously. I showed up in parking lot, with all my online prepared, prepaid paperwork. Although your representative looked at it and pointed out my truck, we was finishing up on a trailer rental. He they went inside with that person, and although implied he was returning, he did not. After a length of time, I went into the building, 3rd floor, small uhaul office and by that time there was a line. 1 1/2 hours to get the truck I had done paperwork to rent was wasted due to your representative's failure to inform me as to the procedure. Once in the office, 10 minutes to finish and get keys. I'll know for next time, but I will never get that 1 1/2 hour of wasted time back.EDWARD R.
U-haul can literally do ANYTHING to improve for the next customer. This experience was beyond abysmal, like the worst i've ever seen from a company. The website will accept your reservation and make it seem like they have trucks available but they don't ever confirm it until the last minute before you need it. They're really good at TAKING reservations but they unfortunately don't know how to KEEP reservations! The email and website said someone would call the day before my rental by 6pm and I never received a call. I had to call 3 different times to finally get the local uhaul scheduling number only to find out they had no trucks available. Thankfully the local guy was at least able to get me a cargo van. I was stuck moving an entire house in a small cargo van built for a studio apartment. To make matters worse, the uhaul building was located several miles from my preferred location - they likely do this on purpose to make you rack up extra miles so they can charge more $. The "self service 24/7" check in/out option barely functions because the website is so awfully slow and you still have to interact with a person to get the key. The website stopped responding several times and pages take 20+ seconds to load. For the love of god, invest in your IT department! Finally, i requested two dolly's and they only had one available so they overcharged me and now i have to follow up with a support person to get a refund since it wasn't provided. I would literally rather buy my own truck than go through the hassle of trying to use this company again. They are only in it for the money, not the customer.Jeffrey N.
