My experience was very good. I had underestimated how much time I would need for my monumental task, but it was a simple thing to extend my time with my beloved U-Haul truck. The entire process was so much simpler and less stressful than renting the old school way. (for the record, the first time I ever rented a U-Haul was in 1991, for a move from Upstate NY to Montana. At that time, my partner and I formed "The Brotherhood of the U-Haul, because everyone else in a U-Haul whom we saw on that epic road trip.. everyone waved at each other. Maybe the world is not as friendly as it was in the day, but I still say "Brotherhood of the U-Haul!" whenever I see one, whether I'm in one myself or not.) I don't think there's anything you need to do to improve for the next customer. This streamlined, 24/7 availability internet assisted rental was flawless, and I appreciate you. Perhaps the only suggested improvement is to formally acknowledge the Brotherhood of the U-Haul. LOL)Wendy D.

The gentleman at abc was great to work with. I do wish the website indicated that trucks have blankets and a dolly available in them. I know its an add on but it almost needs used by necessity to have that cubic space available for items. Nice gimmick and we did use it. Just helps in planning to knowBryan H.

I really cant think of anything. I initially spoke with nick, and all my further interactions were with Krystal. Both of which were extremely professional & personable. I was referred to ABC by the local DV organization and without getting into my personal life, let me just say this whole process was difficult... up to and until my daughter & I walked in the door there. Im a true believer in good customer service never being over looked. Im unfortunately in no position to leave a fat tip, (which was no doubt deserved) so Im doing the next best thing by reporting their amazing service~ maybe they deserve raises?! Thank you! Check oil and windshield washer fluid levels before renting out the vans. Also, vacuum and wipe all footprints on the console of the driver's seating area. A clean van is critical to have the best views all around.Rosis L.

I stopped at UHaul at 225 Wellsian Way, Richland, WA 99352 first. ZERO customer service!!!!! They could not tell me anything about their truck availability. The place is understaffed and overworked! I left mad. Then I went to ABC Mini Storage. This was night and day difference. The staff was professional and helped me with renting a truck. Excellent service. I will rent their again.Matthew G.

The vehicle I rented had warped rotors every time I used the brakes the steering wheel would shake also the alignment on the van was very bad , the steering wheel was very off center , I am a local mechanic at a very reputable shop in tri cities , wa if your company needs someone to work on your fleet , Steve's tire and auto in Kennewick , waBrian W.

The truck had a serious malfunction before I even left. I pushed the gas and it just kept rolling backwards. No power to gas. Turned it off tried it again and it did the same thing until the 3rd try it worked fine. I told the guys I didn't feel comfortable and he blamed me saying it was in neutral even though it was clearly in drive.the lock on the back was broken, couldn't turn the key so couldn't even lock my stuff up and lastly the steering wheel had to be turned halfway to the left to go straight. There needs to be some real maintenence on these trucks. And the guy charged me twice blaming me saying I should've told him I get a discount before he did the transaction even though I did mention I rent from abc. Was not a good experience.Tressa B.

Please, PLEASE make the U-Haul dropoff area suck less. It's a blind turn, and it has a gate we couldn't get in (which we couldn't see because of the blind turn-in) and only were able to safely store the U-Haul (without making an insane blind reverse pullout into traffic) because someone else opened the gate for us.Matthew A.

Get ur website vehicle check in figured out!!! Had to check in Weds before Thanksgiving in the afternoon after the office was closed. I got the appropriate text to lead me to your website check in, but it actually led me to about an hour of EXTREME frustration! As soon as I got to the website I got the "session expired" message. I created an account and tried again... "Session expired". I called the number and after waiting through the computer options, your phone system couldn't "hear" that I pressed the 1 button for "Speak to a representative". Over and over! Then your phone system turned over to "we will call you shortly". Went through that chaos at least 3 or 4 times ( still couldn't discern me madly pushing 1) until I blocked your number andRobert H.
The Receptionist was impatient, condescending, rude and referred to me as "Hun". I will never rent or buy anything from ABC Storage & U-Haul. I did not confront her about her attitude towards me because I needed the truck and wanted to get out of there quick. When I first walked in she was on the phone with her husband (I assume) which lasted about 2 minutes of her telling him "I love you" near 15 times. Once she hung up the phone she proceeded to sent him a link which they had talked about. Then she helped me without an apology. Customer Service was POOR!!!Barb A.

The app for returning the truck didn't work very well. It took several tries to get it to go through to the end which was frustrating.Susan K.
Actually have the truck and car hauler I reserved. I reserved a 15 foot truck and car hauler months ahead of time and when I got to the store, they did not have it and did not offer me any compensation. Reluctantly, the clerk "offered" to search for another 15 foot truck and found one over three hours away 1 way, almost to Canada, on all secondary roads, that we would have to take time from our packing and drive 6 hours and haul our car back over secondary roads. Not acceptable. no discount was offered except a few extra miles and hours, like that was a big gift. we had to take the 10 foot and throw some stuff away and drive from washington to alabama in two vehicles smokey and the bandit style, so no driver breaks. We tried to find another truck and trailer locally ourselves last minute and wasted time driving around town, trucks and trailers were available in app, but not when we got there. BTW, we have used uhaul 3 times now from wa to ala: 1. ubox, 2, trailer on our own pickup, and now a 10 foot. It is extremely hard to get the larger trailer and truck in wa and we had to use uboxes. Meanwhile, once we get past St. Louis, all the uhauls are stacked with 15 footers. In madison alabama there are a ton of 15 footers all over every uhaul dealer. Who do we contact to possibly drive trucks back to wa for compensation so wa, cali and oregon people can have a rental truck when they need it. We are willing to do this for a price.Joni L.

Not only was she patient with my indecisiveness when reserving a trailer, but when it came time to pick it up she was extremely helpful making sure our truck would be able to haul the trailer properly. The facility was clean.. my only complaint was the actual Uhaul truck I rented. I didn't realize it until I was already down the road but the alignment on the truck was pretty bad. I had to hold the steering wheel in the 10-11 o'clock position for the truck to drive straight.Drew D.
