I was over charged for a dolly, as the truck I rented came with one, but over all an okay experience, except I was not able to receive a receipt until the next day due to a tax error

Hire professionals!! Not some kid who tries to rent you a truck with a nail in it!! His exact words - just go ahead and take it and see if holds air and to call U-Haul for road side assistance if you have any issues!! SAD SERVICE AND WILL NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN!!

I was not informed ahead of time that I would have to use my phone to get on the company's Wireless and take a picture of my driver's license Etc this was not what I was expecting I have done many reservations online before and just show up and pick up the truck I'm not very good with the phone and I think I should have been told ahead of time that my expertise on a cell phone was needed I didn't like that at all I don't think you are considering the age of some of your customers and the technological skill of the average person or even the anomaly it wasn't right and I was mad about it but I did learn something new. However I don't think U-Haul should B teaching us how to use an app on her cell phone I should be able to go to the office pick up a truck and leave like I always have without having to employ my cell phone in the matter what if I didn't have my cell phone I'm just SOL she asked me do you have the phone that you reserved the truck on and I did it online so not everyone orders things or Reserve trucks on a phone what are you going to do then say too bad you have to have a phone why couldn't the office just take a picture of my driver's license if they wanted my driver's license why do I have to use my phone to do that you all are demanding way too much of people. I just want the truck that I ordered online why bother having an online reservation and you don't even tell us ahead of time that we are going to need our phones that's ridiculous not everyone has a cell phone either

Total mileage for the use of the truck was 7 miles (from leaving the Uhaul parking lot, picking up the load, dropping it off, and back to Uhaul). I was charged additionally for 3.6 gallons of gasoline, which is impossible to use in 7 miles (and impossible to discern on a vehicle with a 40 gallon tank and a gauge that only reads in quarters of a tank). No effort has been made on their part to investigate or correct this since it has been brought to their attention. I do not recommend using their services.

I was satisfied with the vehicle, but I was not pleased with the fact that I was charged an additional amount for going a few miles over, (less than 10). I returned the rental a day ahead of scheduled and the fuel level was 1/3 more than the amount at pickup. I feel that there should be some lead way as to the few miles over.

Check upper left/front corner. Seal around the reinforcement cap is showing gaps that will definitely allow rainwater, moisture and insects to permeate the inside of this particular truck.

A 15ft truck should hould have an extra safety step to get in and out of the vehicle . I fell getting out of that truck because of the very high step to the ground.

Reservations was changed without notifying us. We drove from out of town to the location where they originally said we was going to pick up the truck just to get sent way across town to Norfolk which was over 20 miles

I’m sorry I can’t remember the woman’s name who was there on Saturday, April 7, 2017, but she was great! Very helpful, very friendly, and we will certainly return to this location the next time we need to rent a truck simply because excellent customer service is hard to find now a days!

I reserved a handtruck and six blankets for furniture. Those were items I absolutely needed to have. When I arrived I was told that they were giving away to somebody else who wanted them at the last minute for a one-way trip. The worker did not care that they did not have any dollies or blankets and suggested that I cancel my order. This was a rare opportunity that I trusted uhaul with my moving needs and I will never do that again and I will encourage everyone I know to not trust Uhaul.
