I returned the truck and tow dolly on time but my credit card was charged a late fee ($20) on the tow dolly. Both were returned at the same time. Called the business but they refused to correct the error. Terrible service. Not sure who to turn to correct this.Ronald M.

I would have been fine with the experience and appearance of the business/trailer if the guy in Tillamook didn't add the $25 insurance fee without discussing it with me. I made an online reservation and opted to not have insurance, so how did it get added. I am requesting a refund or I'll file a complaint with the BBB.Jonathan B.

Your website uses terms inconsistently and is generally not intuitive. Though our boxes were delivered on time, it would have been nice to have been able to track the boxes, just as I can track every UPS, USPS, or Fedex package. All the U-Haul people I dealt with were great. The local drop-off business staff seemed unfamiliar with the process, but still very willing to help out. Overall, it's a good service.Charles B.

I would like to say that the place of dropoff was very close to closing when I found the drop off place.. there was no light very dark.. but I called a very nice lady at the Portland U-Haul who was extremely helpful went above and beyond to make sure I parked the truck in the right place and helped me find the drop off box for the keys.. she took notes to let the Tillamook U-Haul office located out at the blimp hanger naval base my experience with the truck.. which was excellent!!;and why the truck was parked right inside the gate.. I saw Boone present on the property of U-Haul site.. it was very dark and kinda spooky.. my friends followed me to drive me home.. which I was greatful for that .I would recommend uhal for any move a ywhere..they are a good team!! You ripped me off just like I knew you would. Charged me twice what it should have cost. Starting with the starting milage, I was told to report the difference which I did, made no difference. I drove for 34 miles and was charged a $17.80 fee for tire and oil repair. Know that you were my last resort and I hope I never have the displeasure again.samual S.

The cab had blue paper towels on the seat and also pine needles all over the floor! It also stunk like bo. We were told if we returned the truck before 9am Monday we wouldn't be charged. We were charged more than double what our contract stated! I have used uhaul multiple times and never been mislead this bad!holli M.

this location is a scam the dude that runs the place horribale person an rude donote rent from there suhedule a rentle on line for a saturday pick up and the dude calls and said he wont be open on saturday a day be for saturday out of town working had to find some to pick up on friday the dude he wouldnt charge because i couldnt bring it back monday because was closed all weekend so guess what he charged me for all those days and charge insurance that never ask stay clear of this place 29 dollar for 6 hour turn into one hunderd and eighteen chargeCRAIG FRANCIS S.

Great lack of communication as to when container would be picked up and especially where container was for delivery. Delivery Driver just showed up at the house without calling that they were on their way as had been requested. Delivery driver did not know how to park a trailer. Need to have a way of tracking a U box at any point in time. It is not very comforting to learn that they have no idea where the U Box is in transport.sherrilyn H.
The employee who I spoke to over the phone regarding the extension of my rental was extremely rude and demanding. I felt very upset at how I was spoken to by this person. The rental / return lot was unorganized, full of pot holes, with no one available to speak to in the office during business hours. I would not recommend using this location to others.Jerad B.
The app does not work, and this location has very poor cell reception, so if they're not in the office (like on the weekend), good luck ever getting your truck! I was on the phone with your customer service line for an hour because despite trying every web browser, phone, laptop, deleting the app & reinstalling it, over and over, etc. your app DOES NOT WORK at this location. Thank goodness for customer service rep Kimberly Morath - she was excellent & patient & finally figured out how I could get my key over the phone!Brian L.

Just a rundown multi-use industrial area without a distinct U-Haul designated area. Looks like a junkyard with U-Haul equipment thrown in. I would not use this location if there is another option available.David G.
I called the location asking for help with the return. No one answered the phone, which is understandable. However, the recorded greeting was long and sounded extremely rude. The recording stated my call would be returned and insisted that people not call multiple times. I called once, my call WAS NOT returned. This felt very unhelpful. I would not recommend this location to others if there are other options.James M.

I received a call around 1240 from a very rude owner telling me that I missed the 9am drop off. I told him that I would be there at 4 as I had just unloaded it and he said that would be fine I was delayed due to crashes on the freeway outside of Baker and Legrand when I arrived to drop off the trailer another guy came out and told me to leave it outside the gate he didn't have any room inside and he walked away. I dropped off the trailer by myself and then I received an invoice for $28 for an additional day of usage. I will never use U-Haul again or recommend any friends. The move I am making I intend to spend over $4500 with U-Haul supplies, not now. I will use another company.Raymond R.

This location is out by the Blimp hanger and when I came in to drop it off same day I had rented it early PM, no one was there from U-Haul, but a worker for the tow company told me to leave the vehicle outside the fence area and drop the key in the lockbox. My biggest issue is with the charge of the extra mileage! Went over 0.3 mile and you charged my CC .12 cents!!!! I would think this cost you more than it was worth, Just an observation.Zvonimir C.

Picked up 5x9 open-air trailer. It was not clean, When we dropped the trailer off it was clean. The facility was closed and we left the trailer right in front of the gate so that it would be easy for them to pull into their yard, and it was well within the return time. They charged us an extra fee of $25.00 without our approval when we called to ask why we were told the owner was not in and for us to call back. We called 2 more times and never got ahold of anyone, nor did they ever call us back from our messages.NANCY A.

This location was wonderful and the staff were very friendly. However, this was not the location that I made my reservation at. I had reserved my 4x8 trailer with the Sandy Boulevard location in Portland with a GUARANTEE that they would have my equipment or they would hand me $50. They did not have my trailer, nor did they pay me $50. Instead, they made me drive an extra 4 hours all over Oregon in a snow storm to retrieve my rental. I only chose the Sandy Boulevard location because of that guarantee, as I lived 50 miles south of Portland and couldn't afford to waste any more time or money.
