After reserving the truck I got the confirmation email as usual. I didn't have any correspondence from Uhaul until 6pm the day we were moving. Telling me the pickup location had been moved 45 miles from the original pick up location. Not the sort of snag I hoped to run into the day before moving.Tessa H.
This was an amazing experience. We were towing a this trailer when we hit a deer. My brand new car was ruined and I had to get a truck to continue on with my move. The owner of the engine shop was extremely kind and helpful and even helped us unload a vet pack trailer into the Uhaul truck. Very pleased with this service.MARY ANN G.
Uhaul itself is terrible with giving instructions to the places you pick up from for lock and drop!!!!!! The uhaul company delegated my reservations cause I was not there by 9:20 p.m. to pick up the truck as my son had to work late. That was the reason I request a 24/7 pick/drop due to not knowing how late he was going to work. I cant drive two vehicles myself if you have a brain in your head you would you would think gee how is that gonna work if she is driving up from Illinois!!!! Takes TWO DRIVERS USE YOUR BRAIN IF YOU HAVE ONE UHAUL SCHEDULERS!!!!!!!!!! I had to wait 2 1/2 hrs to pick up the uhaul from where I was told I was getting it at and then they had it assigned to another family so the truck I was originally getting I didnt get I got a different one all cause UHAUL SCREWED UP PLUS ADDED SAFE MOVE WHEN U TOLD THEM WHEN CONFIRMED MY RESERVATIONS I DIDN'T NEED IT THEY SRILL CHAEGED ME BEEN FIGHTING TO GET REIMBURST PLUS DISCOUNTS FOR HAVING TO WAIT AN ADDITIONAL 2 1/2 HRS TO GET THE TRUCK WHEN GOT TO LOCATION TO PICK UP AND ALL THE DETOURS WISCONSIN HAS GOINGING ON WITH EVERY ROAD BEING UNDER CONSTRUCTION.Sandy B.

I reserved a trailer for a 10:00am but no one showed up at the location until after 10:30am and still needed another 15+ minutes to complete the check in. I was unable to make an 11am appointment. He did not complete the check in process when I returned the trailer so it was not showing as returned in my online account.. When I went back to check it in using the online process, the app wanted to charge me again. The U-haul web sites were useless on a Samsung tablet and my android phone. The uhaul.com site opens with all the drop down menus open making it impossible to navigate. The link that was sent to my email for this review form just generated an error message until I opened on a desktop PC. My overall experience with U-Haul has been very unpleasant.Joseph W.
We had a trailer reserved several weeks in advance at a location near us. The evening before, we received a phone call telling us we would have to drive several miles to a different location for the trailer we reserved. When we picked it up, the U-Haul location was a dump, the trailer was dirty, and no accessories were available, We had to go buy a hitch. And when we asked if we could return it to a closer location, we were told no.Rob M.

Well I asked for a 10', but got a 17'! Which I got for the same price, but really had to spend more money on gas! So, not sure if that's my fault, but I did get what I needed to get done! We all look at saving where ever we can at any place we go too! All in all, it was O.K.!JOSE V.

This location was the 2nd place I went. The 1st place in Watertown, Wi nobody was there. After 3 calls and nearly an hour later my only option was to drive 20 miles in the opposite direction and pick up a comparable truck at this location in Waterloo, Wi. Also when I did call I was told my problem was a scheduling issue and the number I called couldn't help me. I'm not sure why my call couldn't just be transferred to the right person. I had to scramble around to find a pen and paper and write down a number and reservation number before I could connect with somebody that could help me. It cost me 2 hours of my day and I was only offered compensation after I asked if I could get a discount for my troubles. I got $50 and some free extra miles to cover the added distance I'd have to go. Also when I picked the truck up it only had 1/4 tank of gas. I was told to just return it with a quarter tank of gas. How are you supposed to know how much gas you will use to leave it with the proper amount? Shouldn't the truck be full and the renter fills it when returning? That would be much more simple.STEVE F.
