It was a small, fire ant infested lot (yes, I understand it’s the south, ants aplenty) with a shanty of a shack, no one manning the place (you can have a human there for an extra fee) in what seems a questionable neighborhood. While quickly taking the required photos and electronically getting the combination to the lock for the key my shoes and legs became completely infested with the aforementioned fire ants. The resulting bites were so bad I couldn’t complete my day and are still causing sleepless, itching nights. I ended up having to extend the rental an additional day. The rental itself was shaky, the ignition wouldn’t release the key without a fight, and it made noises which made me wonder if I was going to be left by the side of the road with an inoperable heap. This experience has left a horrendous taste. My rental needs in the future will be met by your competitors

LAWRENCE GNot a real location. In the ghetto, took forever to get me on the road. I had U-Haul packed quicker than it took me to get the U-Haul. Had it been a legit office I probably wouldn’t have had issues. Also tell me why I was charged an additional 20$ for drop off convenience when the store wasn’t open at 9:15 am when I needed to return the truck by. Overall ridiculous I will never use U-Haul again. I’ve moved 8 times and always was a U-Haul customer but never again.
Whitney AHad an area manager and a new employee help me out picking up this truck. Cannot say enough good things about both. Elbert and Chris were their names I believe. Walked me through everything and showed me exactly how to use the truck as well as how to connect and work the auto transport. Amazing service, truck was great. Truck performed better than the Penske I reserved 18 months ago for my last move. I will be using U-Haul again instead.
