He was rude and not very considerate. Did not want to hear about where gas gauge was because I signed the paperwork saying it was at a different spot. I have used Uhaul on more than one occasion and That will be my last.

So my experience here didn’t start out well, but it quickly turned that way. So I was headed one way to Orlando, FL from Tennessee, while I was in route I received a call from U-Haul and it was about setting up a local storage there, I told the customer rep that I would need the largest one they have and she look around and found one for us. But upon arrival to the location in Orlando that unit was not under my name and someone else had reserved it. I wasn’t a happy camper after that. The managers worked it out and I was able to move my things in the next day into and adequate storage. Now that’s out of the way I can rest easy and find a home for my family. It all worked out in the end!

Appears to be manned by one person, who was completely indifferent to another dissatisfied customer receiving incorrect equipment. Refused to accommodate her and forced her to do the legwork to resolve her issue. Seemed like the perfect bookend to our own nightmare experience with U-Haul.

Van was good. Appliance dolly barely functioned. Guy was nice. The cost was doubled (I was charged for two days for just under 4.5 hours). I clicked that there was a problem when returning it. My card was charged anyway with no contact from anyone via phone. They emailed the receipt for the double charge even though I preferenced "text" when I made the booking so I have to wait another day to try to get it fixed.

This location was 20 miles away from our storage unit. We had given the renting agency the complete address. The distance added at least $5.00 to my mileage rate.

I have been a customer of Uhaul for atleast 10 years every time I moved. I have never had an issue. This time, I rented a van to move a couch; upon returning the cargo van, they claimed I had scratched the van’s front bumper. I knew 100% that I did not do this and that they were trying to take advantage of me. I was not given a walk around inspection before being told to sign that day and actually looking back now the words and actions of the desk lady, Kim, lead me to believe my rental period was set up to look like I made damages that were probably done there moving the trucks around. I am now at the point of requesting resolution and refund. If it isn’t granted I know without a doubt the people at this location are swindlers and I will continue up the u-haul chain of commands until I get the results I need. I advise, if you give this location your business, take pics of the vehicles damages before leaving property. Its sad you cant even trust them to be honest about their vehicles.

Twice I had to extend my truck rental causing the location to have to turn away other customers who had reservations. The manager told me the importance of having the truck back on time and each time I caused the other customers to lose their reservations. I knew the manager was initially disappointed for her other customers and I was too but then when she learned of the emergency situations I was in she turned to be supportive of me too. At once, I broke down crying when my movers left due to rain leaving 3/4 of the truck to unload by myself and the manager was supportive and calmed me down to get through the day and devise a plan B to finish unloading the next day. She was a lifesaver to me that day even when it cost her reputation with two other customers. I am so glad she was there for me!

I was given a Van with 1/4 tank of fuel, returned with the same amount of fuel if not more. The vehicle had a major leak, as it was raining my clothes got all wet, needed to drive home to change to into dry clothes....this added an additional 15 miles to the odometer. Very disappointed!

Older truck compared to the uhaul I rented two days earlier. Was charged $14 for insurance which I did not want or agree to. No mention about it by the rep. I made my reservation at another location and they were out of trucks.

The truck that I reserved was not available at this location.The location couldn't provide me with a phone number for UHaul.I had to go to a different location to pick up a 15 foot truck.I had to pay my helpers additional time as a result.Very poor experience-won't rent with UHaul again

Inside the van floor was clean but I had to clean the inside of windows in order to see from them. There was a mix up in my mileage, the manager wanted to overcharge me because the last employee did not input the correct miles into U-Haul system. This caused me some discomfort because I had already called an UBER and because of the mix up my UBER had to wait which the UBER charged me for additional minutes for waiting. This was not a pleasant experience.

Original pickup location did not have truck available when I arrived. I was given a $50 credit for the error but the credit was never applied to my order. The pickup and drop off location both told me that there was nothing they could do about it, only corporate could fix it. I've called and it's still not fixed.

The only good thing about my experience was the lady at the counter. The run around from the altamonte location was annoying. I will NEVER use the altamonte location again.

you should have told me all the information that was required to pick up unit! I did not know that I needed the license number of car to be towed or the they had to call to people that know me that wasn't with me. that doesn't even make sense! I had 2 photo id's that should have been sufficent! I was not happy. took over 1 hour to complete.

Reservation made labeled preferred pickup location. Truck was not there. I had to go to a different pickup location to get the truck. I was not notified by uhaul as to the new pickup location where the reservation was made. Uhaul weaseled out on the $50.00 credit for not having the truck available at the preferred location because it was labeled "preferred pickup location" on the email confirmation for the reservation I gave them a poor customer service grade. U haul did not call me. I called and opened a Customer action file complaining.
