When we arrived home we opened the trailer to find that the trailer leaked from both sides allowing two days of rain infiltration ….. Seemed to be from the upper right and left hand corners. This allowed water to ruin a 5 handset set of Panasonic cordless phones as well as a well wrapped beloved beach scene painting of my wife's …… SOAKED past the point of repair … The phones are worth 360.00 plus tax and the painting was a long held beloved belonging worth around two hundred dollars or more …. In addition there were many many items that were soaked to the point that allowed the water to be soaked into the many boxes on board etc '''' The owner of Wanamaker in the area ; a very nice chap ; asked us to make a claim against U Haul …. The trailer hauled great and handled really well but the water infiltration ruined the trip for sure ''''' Thanks … Jim and Fran Leach ''''' Would like to have feedback on this report re' the damage to our belongings ''''
