Your time constraints on pick up are ridiculous. I was told that because I tried to sign in 3 minutes after my time, it was void. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. If this is your policy you should explicitly state this during initial rental and allow generous time to pick up early. Also, I was charged $1/mile that I went over my estimate, ON AN UNLIMITED MILEAGE contract??!! What are you thinking. Then when I had 1/4 tank more of gas than required, the reply was, well it sucks to be you. No $consideration for that. For a few $ more in uhaul pocket, you leave a terrible customer experience. Your policies should be rethought if you value customer loyalty.
