The location I picked up the rental from was wonderful they were 100% honest told me the truth even though I had been misled by the people who rented me the truck. The location cleared things up and of course had to follow policy. However, I was very disappointed because I was lied to by the people who actually rented the truck to me, but the location I picked it up from the person was excellent so I had no problems with the location. I picked it up from other than they had no choice but to follow policy and it would've been nice to have been told the truth before I went and picked up the U-Haul because I didn't have the hundred dollars extra that I needed because I wasn't told the Truth , on top of that I have a receipt showing when I rented the U-Haul that the rental was supposed to only be $145 and it turned out to be $179 plus I had to pay an extra hundred dollars because I paid with a cash app card and no one seem to feel obligated to tell me that before I got there and the whole point of me calling and renting it from this U-Haul locator this U-Haul app was so that I could get a discount in the first place and it ended up costing me $279 when I was told it was 145 so you can imagine my surprise my anger my disappointment because I had to basically borrow money from people in order to be able to rent the truck because this was the only day I could do the move. Had I known that ahead of time the two days before then I wouldn't have went up there with $145 to rent the truck, so yes, quite disappointed with the U-Haul app , so please beware if you rent a U-Haul and you're gonna pay cash or you're gonna use a debit card and not an actual credit card be ready to pay an extra hundred dollars from what they tell you otherwise you won't be able to rent the truck.
