The guy was extremely rude first of all and working out of a shipping container with a table in it for an office. Then he told me one flat rate price for 100 miles, which he proceeded to change when I came back to turn it in. There was no explanation or upfront discussion about it. He told me it was a deposit which was clearly a lie. I drove less miles than he charged me upfront for and somehow I still got charged more and did not get the remainder of my money back. Then he sped off and left me in a dark alley in DTLA while I was waiting the 5 minutes for my uber. As a woman, this is not a safe location. Even during the day I felt unsafe. Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL uhaul office and skip this “authorized” dealer.
