Great experience with Uhaul Lavaltrie and Trois-Rivieres. Pick up was quick and easy, the employee even helped me get out of the parking since it was a tight exit. I recommend that you take pictures of the truck before leaving to avoid any issues ; the inside of the truck was a little dirty when I picked it up, and when I dropped it off they wanted to charge me a cleaning fee, even if I sweep the floor. Luckily, I had pictures proof that I dropped it off the same way I picked it up and customer service was really efficient to reimburse me.

Tout était parfait. Le locateur avait même réchauffé le camionl mn avant mon arrivée.
Louis TLors de la prise de possession du camion, j'ignorais qu'il y avait 5-6 pouces de neige et glace sur le toit du camion. Par conséquent, je me suis fait arrêté par une patrouille de police sur l'autoroute 40 ouest en direction de Montréal. Les policier de la sureté du Québec m'ont obligé de sortir de l'autoroute et de dégager la neige et la glace du toit du camion. Résultat: Une perte de 4 heures sur l'horaire de la journée et l'obligation de retourner le lendemain pour terminer l'installation de d'un abri d'hiver pour un important Musée à Montréal. Pour terminer, j'ai reçu une contravention de 593,00$ pour ne pas avoir arrêter à un poste de pesage du camion ?!? Ce que j'ignorais totalement.

Robert GI would need the have someone to call me back. I rented a 20’ box truck from a U haul dealer. Error was made from the Dealer and U Haul is charging me for it! Not acceptable will here from me or a lawyer if not refounded Let me explained how: I live in quebec, we speak french over here and the dealer in quebec didn’t even speak french or english. took me a minute or two to understand that he didnt speak french. I spoke english for him to understand me better. I speak good english.The guy that rented to me the box truck was also maybe 102 years old and. This was at 7:50/8:00Am I told him many time that i needed a one way drop of and that i would get the truck back there because i have no vehicule in my possession. So clearly i told him 2/3 more time and he say “yaya i show you blablabla” Later that day when we dropped off the truck at u haul, not in lavaltrie. They say we will arrange something because of the poor management of lavaltrie. Not even 10 minutes later i get a call from U haul, saying that i will have to take the truck back to lavatrie(250km back). I told that i could because i dont have a car there AND i dont even own a car. He told me the ONLY way to work this around is to pay the fee. (6:00/7:00pm). I told him its not my fault that the guy didn’t speak english or anything. Your guy from u haul clientel services told me that i had a contract with u haul. But in reality a contract is something sign and explained. So no i didnt have a contrat with Lavaltrie U Haul i explained him. He then re told me to just pay, but couldn’t tell me how much. We went back and forth on whats a contract and how much we was going to charge me. He then told me i was for sure going to pay and there was no other way the he hanged up on me! So either you will here from me again or maybe you should charge the person in the wrong -> the owner of U Haul of lavaltrie, not me Please call me back 4385044350
