It took 40 minutes to rent the Uhaul trailer. We had reserved it online and done the paperwork except the driver's license picture. We reserved from a different location earlier this year and it took 15 minutes. It was not a very streamlined process. Waited in line then had to go out to hook up the trailer then had to go back inside to wait in line again to finish up the paperwork - and then had to go back outside to get the number off the trailer. Only had 2 people working and not sure they were using walkie-talkies to communicate - might have made things more streamlined?Ryan P.

Chad made every single visit to U-Haul awesome to the extreme. He was there every single time I visited - to get hitching wiring installed, to picking up a trailer, and always with a smile on his face and happy to help. He even helped me figure out how to tow safely since this was my first time and I was doing it alone. While I was there in the facility, I watched him deal with ornery people with a firm hand and a cool head and they were being just difficult and demanding. Moving is stressful so I can only imagine how much of peoples' frustrations this guy deals with on a daily basis. I hope Chad gets a raise because I've never been impressed by a U-haul employee to the point of asking their name until now...and after having moved out of KC and taking a month to settle in, I'm hoping I remember his name correctly. So even if I named him wrong, I hope he knows this is about him and that his higher ups reward him for being kind and attentive to all my needs. Dude kills it at his job. KEEP IT UP! When I arrived I was told the trailer size I had reserved was unavailable because the one on site needed new chains. Should this have gotten me the $50 guarantee? The last time I got a trailer I was notified ahead of time the equipment wouldn't be available and was offered the next larger size at the same price. I feel I should have been advised sooner than upon arrival. I have used this facility several times in the last year and while you don't have loyalty program it would be nice be recognized as a nice repeat customer. I would like to continue using this facility when needs arise but if need be I willchange locations if this were to occur again.John H.

I am very upset with uhaul. I tried calling multiple times this morning to try and change the location in which we should have dropped it off, seeing as they only let us pick Tiffany springs location which is 30 miles from where we live and there were ton of other locations closer, which made our mileage go up and we were charged for that and wasted the gas tank we just filled up. I was also told from the first location that I wasn't going to be charge for the uhaul until I returned it and was charge the same day of picking it up and was charged a overdraft fee since there wasn't that amount in my bank seeing as I was told that it would be taken out later. I was on hold for 54 minutes with costumer service and when they answered the phone they hung up on me. Very disappointed in the costumer service.Corbin S.

The whole experience was excellent. All I did was rent furniture pads. The phone rental order went smoothly, the staff on site were so friendly and helpful. When I returned the pads on Sunday the computers were down but the staff were upbeat, outside meeting customers and helping. I had a conflicting doctor's appt and couldn't make it in time for the drop off and was charged 50 bucks extra late fee, even though they had several truck the same size as ours there. Wasn't like they had a person sitting there waiting for the truck. They were very rude at this location as well. But no matter, will NEVER use U-haul again based on both experiences. Plenty of other places to rent trucks from,Barry P.
