The time it takes to rent is way too long, especially when you have filled out everything on line. The wait was not to get the equipment, it was the computer system

U Haul company might want to acquire smaller size cargo vans for customers needs..

The trailer was a little beat up and rusty, but clean on the inside and did not leak.

This is my 3rd recent rental with U-haul. The computer system at check in is really sub par. Employees wait and wait for the program to respond. It substantially slows the check in process.

everything was fine.

It took 4 hours to get one rented. Found one online, stopped by the store and no one was there (during business hours) called and no answer. Got a call back 45 min later which didn't help because the 800 number sent me to another location 30 minutes away. Showed up after reservation made and was told neither one that they had was available. So I got sent to another location and after hooking up they realized that the unit hadn't been checked in so had to wait for them to figure out how to check it in. Then had to drive 30 miles back to where my second vehicle was located. VERY UNIMPRESSED WITH THE WAY IT WAS HANDLED!

I did not request blankets or a dolly with my truck, but those items were in the back of the truck when I picked up the truck. When I asked U-Haul staff if they could be removed to make loading easier they told me they could not, company policy. I didn't appreciate those items being in the way during the move or that the staff was not able to help with such a simple request.

Everything went well but the windows on the 20’ truck I rented were covered with bug impacts. It looked like it had been driven through a swarm of locusts. The problem is that cleaning the windshield on one of these trucks is easier said than done. You have to climb up onto the hood to do it. If it had just been normal dust or minor stuff I could’ve cleaned it with a long squeegee wand at a gas station but this was much worse and required some elbow grease to get it clean.

When did it start to be do it yourself? I’m glad I didn’t get charged for the scratches bc there were scratches everywhere on the truck and not marked. Just one more thing to do on a stressful moving day,

The truck was great and drove well so no worries until we went to drop it off at the U-Haul company. We arrived to drop off our truck after office hours. Since there was no one there and we didn't quite know what to do we called the U-Haul number provided. We were on hold for over one hour, waiting to know what we should do! After an entire LONG HOT day spent moving and traveling, this was not what we wanted to do!! We finally just dropped the keys in a drop box and left. Someone did finally answer our phone call. He wanted us to take pictures of the truck and odometer but we told him we had already left. So he said the company would have a security camera showing that we had dropped the truck off. It was a frustrating night! Maybe fix the phone situation so no one else goes through this!!!

Not only did the girl not know how to ring my appliance dolly in but they forgot it and my mattress pads all together. When I called, Bobbie said she would have them contact me. Two hours later I called again and Edgar said I would get a refund for those two things once I returned the trailer. I’m still getting charged the full amount.
