Actually I called Ona Used Cars for my rental but they said they didn’t have a truck for my timeline so I called Fair Field. I needed a truck for 2 days but they only had a truck for 1 day so the second day was spent making multiple trips in my car and husbands truck to continue our move. If we had a truck we could have taken bigger loads and used our travel time to get more of the move completed so after 2 days we are still not completed. The cleaning fee seemed to have slipped my guys mind but he did say a fee of a dollar for something but I cannot remember what he said. Initially our return was for 10 am then he said no it was earlier as they needed it for a 9am reservation then I got email saying due back at 7am. Tired as we were, we hit up and had the truck back at 715 but store not open til 9am. Luckily I had cell phone and though I completed each command it kept saying to redo as it was not accepted. Finally I called the help line at 745 and they said to not worry the system had accepted my info. As I drove past the Ona station going to the Fair Field station, I saw 4-5 vehicles parked and appeared ready for use but the call on Friday said no vehicles would be available on Sunday am. I guess I’m just aggravated with whole process. My husband said truck clean but it had a jerky drive response and just took longer to get the speed up on the road. Next time I’m gonna try Penske.

Mixed reviews. Personally I had no issues. However I'd recommend that the employees, including mgr, not talk about customers in the presence of future customers. I know that customers (we) can be frustrating but work on keeping it professional.

We arrived a few minutes before closing and the man working was pretty rude. He pretty much told us he had already clocked out and didn’t give us the time to even ask where to park the truck. Fortunately, we were able to use my mobile device to check the truck back in and with the help of Coco from Reno via phone were able to complete the process. I don’t know the rude man’s name but he certainly did not leave a good final impression. Up until this time, I was very satisfied with the rental process and the vehicle. It is a shame that this individual reflected poorly on your business.

This was my first time renting from you. The experience was perfect. I have rented from one of your competitors in the past due to the fact that they offer a lift gate for heavy equipment. The last time the gate did not work and my organization was very put out having to move a great deal of items that were very heavy. The fact that you offer a low level entrance In the back along with a ramp, this helped a great deal and not at all difficult to load. Along with the fact that the truck itself was very easy to drive and easy to get into close areas was a definite plus. And lastly the price, which was extremely lower than the other provider we have used in the past. I know we will be back again as next year progresses and the need for a service that we have to have to transport our equipment. Thank you again.

Be more understanding about honest mistakes, fix your online system, and ensure your customers know all of their expectations. Sending an email (that most likely goes to junk mail) with contract details is unacceptable. Print it on the spot. Moving day is stressful and hectic and you’re preying on individuals who already have a lot on their mind. You also lied and told me your store was the closest to me when in fact, there was one 5 minutes from my apartment. We drove thirty minutes both ways just so you could make a penny. It’s ridiculous and you should be ashamed.

When I rented an enclosed trailer, the man working told me I had 24 hrs to return the trailer. A female employee called irate 8 hrs into my rental demanding the trailer back. They had double booked the trailer and then Double billed me. Horrible experience!!!!!

Made reservations almost 2 weeks in advance for the smallest box truck. The day before suppose to pick the truck up, I got a call from u-haul saying there was not any trucks available at the store I made the reservation at. I had to drive an extra 25 miles to pick up and drop the truck off from the store where I originally made the reservation. Which was a huge inconvenience on me, and also cost me more money due to the extra mileage had to drive . U-haul should have took those miles off. They did not.

You have an employee working at this location that cost U-Haul money because of not wanting to make a change to some paperwork and rent a different trailer than the 5'x9' utility trailer we initially had reserved. When we arrived at the U-Hail of Fair Field, we began working with Owen LeMaster (Hitch Professional) getting the 5'x9' utility trailer's for a one-way rental. We noticed that there were also two 6'x'12' utility trailers on the lot. We asked about renting swapping out one of the 5'x'9 trailers for one of these 6'x'12 utility trailers. Mr. Owen LeMaster confirmed that we would have to return the 6'x12' trailer back to that location at 1528 9th avenue because they were not available for one-way rentals. He told us he would check the availability. He then told us that one of the 6'x12' trailers did not belong to that location but had been 'repaired by the U-Haul service center and returned to their location by mistake and it did not belong to that location and could not be rented but need to be returned to the correct U-Haul Store. He then told us the second trailer had a reservation for the next day and would not be available for the 3-4 days we would need it. We left with the original 5'x9' trailers with the understanding these other trailers were not available. Later that day, after loading the two 26' foot trucks and the 5'x9' utility trailers, we needed another trailer for the two person ATV we needed to move. We then returned to the U-Haul location at 1528 9th avenue because we saw several U-Haul car haulers at that location. We then met with and spoke to another employee at that location and he informed us that we could only use the U-Haul Car Loaders to move vehicles and not the ATVs. The attendant suggested the 6'x'12' RO Trailer as it would allow for the opening size. He then asked me if we considered the 6'x12' utility trailers with a ramp and I told him what Owen had told us earlier in the day about neither of them being available. He shared that that was not the case. I am writing all of this because of my TOTAL FRUSTRATION in being blatantly lied to by Mr. Owen LeMaster. If I were still in that location and not doing a on-way to move my parents, I would have gone back to that location at 1528 9th Avenue and asked to speak to the store manager at that location. Being blatantly lied to by an employee who does not want to service a client and do more paperwork is unacceptable. If he were my employee, I would fire him as a person who lies cannot be trusted and if he has lied in this situation, no doubt he has lied in other cases and with other customers.
