I had booked a 15' truck online , however this location did not have any 15' available so a 10' truck was reserved for me without any prior notification. I would have gone to a different location to get what I wanted if I had been made aware.Kristine W.

i prebooked a dolly and it was not available as well as that i was texted and told to check an agreement online on my mobile device. not everyone has data on their phones or access to internet during the middle of a move.scott P.
The truck rented was full of sawdust and branches. The back of the truck did not appear to be cleaned or inspected when rented out. This resulted in all of my belongings in the truck becoming dirty with sawdust and branches/twigs. More concerning was that the young male staff working at this location April 14 & 15, 2021 was not wearing a mask inside the office, or fully over his mouth and nose when inside the truck, driving the truck for pick-up. I brought this concern to his attention and he did not change his behaviour. I will actively discourage all my friends and family from giving business to this location.Jacqueline D.

I booked a 10 foot truck online without any problems. When I picked up the vehicle I was in and out in literally 5 minutes. The same was true when I dropped the truck off. There was minimal contact and my contract and final bill were emailed to me. A most wonderful experienceStephen J.

When I received the cargo van it had a very foul smell to it, almost unbearable. I had to drive for 100 km to pick up the furniture I was getting, and wait for some time before I could load the van. When I opened the back of the van there were bags of feces in the back corner of the van along with used disposable gloves!! It was very gross and I threw out the bags and gloves right away. I did take a picture of the stain left in the van from the bags. I reported this to the Uhaul person who called me because on top of this I was told i had the van until 9 pm, but then it was expected back by 6:30pm because they closed at 7pm. I reported the issue I had to the Uhaul person on the phone and he was very apologetic and assured me he would look into why the van was not disinfected (Especially during COVID). He offered me a discount on my final bill due to this experience, however upon receiving my final bill that has not occured. Can someone please reach out to me about this issue? Rymal and Upper Ottawa branch manager harrassed me over the phone first thing the next morning for not able to call them the night before that the van wouldn't be returned before 6:00pm. Threatened me a $31.00 extra charge on top of my inial bill of $118. I was in disbelief as I never, ever heard of such extra charges even without exhausting my 24 hour time limit.. Before the call was over, manager demanded for a time it should be returned!!! She was very, very rude and mean, I felt I was treated like a piece of garbage!!! " 1pm pickup, therefore 1pm return", I replied. I validated with the younger lady at the front desk when I returned the van and she told me it's Uhaul's new policy. I intended to get the move done before 6pm the day I picked up the cube van but thing didn't go as planned. I was willing to pay the extra $19.00 if I would need an additional day. I was not charged extra $31 on my final bill, I apologized for not be able to call them back to show the manager I didn't have a malicious intentions. That was an awful experience!!!Roberto T.

Cabin in truck was clean. Walls of the rear box had caulking all over it on both sides and it was very stickey. We had to cover the walls before we put our furniture in.Leo K.

The vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke so badly that I needed to leave the windows open the entire time I used the vehicle. The vehicle was dusty and was cleaned with a wet cloth, smearing the dust all over and leaving streaks on all plastic dash parts.Rhyan G.

Mobile check in was a disaster. Didn't work for me. Attendant opened the lock box for me but the key wasn't in there. Attendant finished my application on her computer. Was 30 mins to get a vehicleDEREKMANUEL W.
Going through the gate, to return the van, needs more instruction, such as a "Pull Up to This Sign" type of sign. Why? When I was pulling in, I was distracted by two cars pulling out, one through the gate I was using, another through a side gate behind me. I didn't know if the gate was an automatic closing type, opening because of me, or because of the other car. So I brought the van forward, and an employee was on the side that I couldn't see, and (I think) I came close to hitting her. The sight lines are poor at this location. And it was unusual circumstances. Buuut... maybe it can be improved.peter R.
