However, contract rental was to drop off in Destin. When we went to drop it off, we were told they no longer accepted trucks and we had to go to Ft. Walton. We drove to Ft. Walton and they knew nothing of this and had 4 more people from Destin sent over the same day. The people in Ft. Walton are great. Big inconvenience to all customers because of no acceptance in Destin. 3 hour drive back because of traffic all because of uhaul. This is unacceptable.

Uhaul's computer system seems cumbersome to all the emplyoees, even Managers. Your employees are awesome. Most of customer's time is spent waiting for computers to cooperate.

My returned trailer was not closed out properly. I had to contact uhaul to request a receipt, and was told three different times that the trailer had not been returned. I don't appreciate this. If the two girls that unhooked my trailer upon returning it had acted promptly (as was done on my recent rentals), there would have been no problem.

The location is great, but your policies need improvement. After loading the trailer, I didn't need the rented hand truck any longer and didn't have room to haul it inside the trailer, so I tried to take it back to the rental location and turn it in. To my amazement, I was told that the rental location couldn't accept the hand truck - it was on my contract and could only be returned at the destination U-Haul facility. No way it could be done, period. So, I had to stuff the hand truck into my SUV and carry that useless piece of equipment with me until I turned the trailer in. I get that your no-change policy makes thing easier for your staff, but it ignores your customer's needs. Rental location - excellent. U-Haul policies - not so much.

called got put on hold for 45 minutes. during the whole time bragging about how easy there online reservation changes are to do. They sent me a validation code to my email that would never work. When I finally got someone on the phone they said they need to connect me to someone else. They did and the phone rang about 30 times and then just hung up. I will only recommend your store to people I really despise! Actually I wouldn't even do that to them! If I could give a negative rating I would!!!

People were very nice, but very rushed which leads to errors. I was told my trailer was not correctly attached by the uhaul in muskegon, mi. They told me we were lucky we made it here safely. The rope was not attached right at the tire, and he said the tires were in poor condition.. This was pretty scary and I probably will not use uhaul after this experience.

I was double billed for the extra day that I pre-coordinated. It took me over an hour on the phone with multiple parties to get this reversed, which was frustrating. The drop-off location also seemed under-staffed. My overall experience was satisfactory, except for the phone based customer service, which was always incredibly slow, time consuming, and not necessarily helpful in resolving my issues.

The original location were my son in law reserved a 26 ft. truck had over booked and did not have a truck available for him. The name of that location is Crestview Food mart at 3051 S Ferdon Blvd, CVW, SL 32536. That is why we had to drive 30 miles out of our way to find another one. My son in law is Stephen Scandrett and he was supposed to receive a $50 dollar rebate but has not as of yet.

Reserved a Truck. Truck wasn’t available, so I was asked via phone if I could use a 10’ box van. I said okay. As I was pulling into the parking lot, I got another call saying the 10’ box van had been rented to someone else. They asked me if I could use a cargo van instead. This wasn’t what I wanted at all, but ok. I got my paperwork, and they pulled the van up. Its license plate didn’t match what was on the paperwork, and I asked about that. They said “we pulled the wrong van up, it’s fine. Just take this one and we will change the paperwork.” Also, the paperwork indicated that the van’s gas tank was 3/4 full, but it was clearly between 1/2 and 5/8 tank. I was in a large hurry, so I did not bring this up to the staff and took the van anyways and returned it with 3/4 tank. Very poor experience overall. The staff was polite and courteous enough, at least.

The "manager" a younger female was exceptionally rude. I called the store to let them know that I was not going to make it in for my designated drop off because my car I was towing battery went dead, preventing me from putting the car in neutral. I told the call center representative what happened, the trailer had not been functioning properly and I had to turn on my car lights to continue on my 16 hour trip and that drained the battery. Well the "manager" called my mother and was rude to her saying that their is another reservation and I needed to get the equipment back ASAP. My mom told me and finally we got the car to start and I went and returned the vehicle. Once I got my car off the trailer, it had all types of lights in the dashboard, traction faults, airbag faults, tire faults, cruise control faults....but I didn't fuss about that. I asked the "manager" if she wanted my paperwork and she hurriedly said no, it's fine I'll clear you. She sent me a receipt for $123.00 she charged me for fuel, an extra day truck and dolly rental. When I called the store no one answered and I was sent to the call center to figure out what I missed. I said, I'll just go back up to the store, so I did. When I got their with my paperwork in hand, the "manager" asked how could she help me. I told her and she immediately said we close at 7 you have to come back tomorrow, it was 6:50pm. I said no, she said well I can't help you I'm helping other costumers, I looked puzzled because she just asked what could she help me with....As I waited for the two representatives to finish they just ignored me and the female kept saying she couldn't assist me cause she had other costumers in a rude and irritated manner. I asked her if their was a problem and she said no, they whole time never did she look at me as if my issues were a concern of hers. I told her that she clearly had a problem, and with my disbelief and frustration blurted that she needed to grow the f** up. She said f*** you to me. I said you're in the customer service business and you choose this job, you have no reason to treat me this way. I called the General Manager and she did not answer her phone, I stayed in the store while they continued to shut down to talk to the "manager", she never came back in so I went outside and said you have customers in the store (myself and another lady) when she spoke to her she was calm but with me it was a much different demeanor. She said the manager is coming you can talk to her. After waiting 45 minutes no on came, they locked the door and I waited outside, I knocked on the door and a young man came and said the manager is coming, that's what I was told. And I said, look, I'm not gonna wait all day is she coming or is she just saying that? I then told him i'd be back tomorrow... Overall a horrible experience from pick-up to drop off. I want all my money back and i'll never do business with this organization again and I'll recommend other companies to my veteran counterpart

I appreciate the Uhaul representative promptly answering the phone when I called and making note of my concern over the truck's alignment while I was driving and another Uhaul representative making a note about the cat litter smell in the truck that wasn't from me so I would not be held responsible.
