I had to back the truck out of the lot myself, while the lot attendant was on his phone. The truck gate didn't open when I got to my home to begin moving. When I brought the truck back to the location to get this resolved the attendant pried the door open with a crowbar and said they stick in the heat and it shouldn't be an issue. If this is such a common Occitan e why did no one make sure the door was unstuck before a customer left with the truck? The door was beginning to stick by the time I got back to my home, so we had to leave it open at all times unless we were driving. In the time it took to drive from our new home, to the drop off location the door he completely stick and could not be opened again.ANDREW G.

I showed up to a previous location to rent a truck using self checkin. As I checked in, the truck assigned to me drove away because that location rented my truck out to someone else. I even showed up a few minutes early for my rental time. Because they didn't have any other trucks I had to go to this location on Colfax. While it wasn't a huge deal, it did cost me an extra hour of my day while I waited for them to find a truck at a different location and then drove to the Colfax location. No one ever apologized or tried to make it right. They just told me to go to another location.Brandon A.
The truck I rented had 165000 miles on it. The steering wobbled, the overhead light didn't work properly, and there were dents all around. But that wasn't the dangerous part. The right side mirror blew back against the window the first time I drove over 35 mph. From then on, I couldn't see anything on behind me or to the right. Why was routine maintenance (tightening the allen nut on the mirror) left up to me, the customer?Eric J.
There was a little bit of an error upon pickup, the front desk was able to sort it all out and fix the mistake. Even with the long line. Next time I wish I could get the truck I reserved so I don't have to make 2 trips.BRETT J.

Would not recommend uhaul in Denver at all! Originally had a reservation guaranteed with a cc for Friday 3/26 and received a call on Thur we would have to pick up our trailer in steamboat springs. After multiple phone calls and long bond times (spent close to 3 hours working on this) we were able to secure a reservation for Sunday 3/28 - kept trying to call the location Saturday to make sure we would have a trailer on Sunday and they never would answer their phone. Horrible customer service. Got back to Texas and had great customer service with the Lubbock and Abilene office! Would definitely recommend uhaul in Texas! Not in Colorado!!Jamie S.
Have an alternative way to scan IDs. Not everyone has a smartphone, or in ny case, my phone would not play nice with your website. Also the storage situation there is a pain for loading and unloadingGRAYSON G.
I tried to use the contact less pick up but the app was terrible. I had to provide a phone number on the reservation but it wouldn't accept my number so I used my husband's. Then I had to provide a second phone number and I couldn't get it to accept any numbers, it kept saying the number was already used on the reservation. I finally made up a number and that worked. Then I selected to add insurance and it had me wait to be approved for about 5 minutes. I ended up going inside. They were pleasant but my keys to the truck were behind the counter so had the app worked this wouldn't have been a contact less pick up. I would have had to go in.Jessica H.
