The receiving location had no briefing about my terrible experience at the departing store. Communication between the franchise locations needs improvement.

Having an actual uhaul representative available. The guy that was supposed to be there wasn't and didn't answer his phone multiple times. There was a lady there who figured it out. The entire process took forever and then the equipment wasn't maintained. It didn't have a wiring harness for the lights and the tires were low on air and one was nearly bald. I had to go to another location to get those items addressed.

Eric HThe staff wasn't there when I got there at opening, so I had to wait an extra twenty minutes. The truck I rented was dirty in the cab with leftover garbage all over. I had to sweep the back of the truck to get it clean and ready to load. In the days of Covid where hygiene is still important, this is just not acceptable, but I had no choice because I had a moving day to get to. When I pointed it out to the staff after turning in my keys, there was no response.
