First of all. Original pick up location was cape girardeau at 10:00. Didn’t have my truck. I drove an extra 40 minutes each way to this location. Also - I found this truck. The cape location just said tough luck basically. Would have been catastrophic for me to not have a truck on this day. Extremely pissed there was no truck for me!! Truck has some sort of tire issue or something - roughest ride I have very experienced.
mark dOn Wednesday, November 22, I returned the trailer I rented from a Uhaul facility located at 1107 S. Main St, Charleston, Missouri. However, the location charged me for an additional five days of rental, which was not discussed or addressed during the rental process. I received a receipt for the additional charges on Monday, December 11, 2023. I tried to use the Uhaul app to return the trailer but did not get good data service in the rural town. The facility did not process the trailer until Monday, November 27, at 6:51 pm, which suggests that their management style is very loose. Despite trying to contact the facility, I have not received a response. It is concerning that the owners appear to be dishonest and in the business of ripping people off. Given that my last name is well-known in the community and they attend the same church as my mother did, Esther Gillespie, I would expect a courtesy call. Therefore, I am requesting that Uhaul investigate this facility's operation practices. I am also disputing the additional charges on my credit card.

BRENDA SOverall was a bad experience. The app wouldn’t work. I couldn’t check in. Asked for a passport???? Then I called the number. It didn’t work. Had to call another location and they graced me a number. Then the lock wouldn’t open and couldn’t get the key. FINALLY got the truck. I hope I don’t have to use the company again.
