The box of the truck was not clean and needed to be cleaned before we packed. When we were finished with the truck we cleaned the box out once again.

Not having a truck at 1/4 tank. Not allowing minimal mileage forcing customers to take unsafe roads to travel.

For the moment I don’t see any points to improve, I have had always good experience with U-Haul.

When renting the truck, the young lady helping me told it was a one way trip, but after dropping the truck off at the destination I got a call that they had mistakenly set it as a return trip rental, incurring numerous additional fees which Uhaul will not waive. In addition, it looking to rent moving supplies like blankets or a dolly, this location is woefully under stocked and did not have what we needed. They were also unable to produce a copy of the terms for viewing before signing due to "technical difficulties." Buyer beware, will never rent Uhaul again.

I would suggest that all trailers are checked to make sure that their lights are in working conditions. With this rental, I was pulled over by the RCMP for no trailer lights at night. The trailer lights were checked by myself before leaving the yard of the rental pick up location and were in working condition. I did not receive a ticket for this but was advised to report it to drop off location, which I did. My suggestion would be to have the agents at pick up locations double check that lights are working on trailers being rented.

time taken to complete the transaction seemed a little long - used to be quicker when it was doen by hand rather than through the computer

Ensure the equipment is in good working order. Wiring was broken and no one showed us how to apply the chains resulting in damage to the chains
