The rental process was very smooth. The communication on which truck I was to use and where it was to be dropped off was lacking which caused some delay. They did follow-up with me to verify the mileage before the final billing as it was higher than I expected because I had to take a 2nd trip which I appreciatedRobert J.

The initial "contactless process was horrible and slow". When I went in to the location, the woman didn't understand the problem I was having and tried selling me the same truck I had just reserved and purchased. The truck also didn't come with any of the equipment I ordered.Samantha D.
Lady had no idea what she was doing, basically had to check the equipment out myself, took 30-45 min. Once that was finally done, discovered the trailer was up against a pole right by the sidewalk, I had to walk it back 40 ft just to have room to pull my truck up in front of it. Exhausting experience, will never check out a trailer from this location. Also, paid for blankets and they didn't have any.Joshua H.
Never had a hard time with a uhaul rental location, but this place was not at all prepared and it felt like they were comply unaware they had a rental that day. It's one of those gas stations that sells whatever is currently not technically illegal. Took like 45 minutes to do check in even after doing everything online the night before and then the truck didn't have the furniture pads, which was refunded but all of the extra equipment was stored in a dingy store room with the extra sodas, and had to do the paperwork behind the desk with the gas station cleok while they helped customers buying their smacks & drinks, would not recommend.Dean S.
The unit on my reservation was not available. The contract was not updated to reflect the available unit and the issue was only resolved after I personally called U-haul. The pigtail for the lights was missing and it took an hour and a half to get one.Brent S.

Only one lady worked there that couldn't speak very good english. She didn't know anything as to what to do for a trailer drop off. No one was available to unhook me. I couldn't because it was too heavy and I have a bad back. She called phone numbers but nobody would answer the phone. I think it was a gas station customer who came around and helped me. I can't believe U-Haul uses this place.John S.
I walked and asked if I was needed to fill out anymore information (I am a first time user) she said no and went back to texting on her phone. Time goes by and the same lady comes out and says I need to go fill out some information. When I go in she didn't know what she was filling out and when I was watching her I had figured out what needed to be done and took over as she corrected me on what I was doing.Caleb G.

This was my fifth time renting a uhaul and the absolute worst experience. I did the check in online because it said it would decrease my time in store in half. I had a scheduled pick up time for 11am, got to the location at about ten after eleven, didn't drive away until 1150 because I had to sit in an area that smelled of body odor waiting for the appropriate personnel. Then when they finally got there I had to redo everything I did online. I finally got the truck and it smelled so bad I had to drive with the windows down in the rain, I will NEVER tell someone to use this location again, they should not be allowed to rent out a truck at all.Lauren P.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I have rented from U-Haul at least 10 times in the past few years and nothing like this has ever happened. I don't blame this on Uhaul at all, but the owner of the gas station. First off, the man had no idea what the uhaul app was, or what truck share was. I showed him my receipt and showed him that the truck was in my name and everything, but he refused to give me the keys. He kept telling me I was trying to steal the truck, that I needed a paper contract. He got other customers involved and called me many names and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. The truck was already rented to me, it was payed for, I just needed the keys. He did not understand the app or anything. He shouldn't have this service if he doesn't know how it works. I was already stressed out because I had reserved a truck and trailer at another location, and they changed the rental to a 10 foot truck which would have done nothing for me. So I had that pending charge and then the new charge for the truck at this location. I had all this money held up in my back account and still didn't have a truck. I was messaging a Uhaul representative on the app and he was somewhat helpful, but not like he should have been. I sat on hold with Uhaul for over 40 minutes and never got through to anyone. The whole ordeal with the has station owner listed over 1.5 hours. It was absolutely ridiculous. I don't know what made him end up giving me the truck, but it was beyond stressful and put me so far behind schedule. He continuously called me names and insulted me, all I wanted was the truck that was already rented to me and already payed for. I am also extremely disappointed with Uhaul, when I dropped the truck off I chose to pay with a different method so that someone would contact me from Uhaul. Nobody ever contacted me, Uhaul just charged my card for it, so I never even got to talk to anyone about my experience. I honestly don't feel like I should have had to pay the almost $300 for such an absolutely horrible and stressful experience where I was harassed, degraded and insulted. Honestly, I don't want to have to rent a truck from anywhere but Uhaul, but after this experience I may have to spend the extra money and go with another company. I sincerely hope Uhaul responds, as no other customer should ever have to go through this.Devin G.
