The shop was closed when I showed up to pick up my trailer I rented. I sat in my car trying to rent it through your app, which was not working because of a storm I was told. The owner to the shop showed up 15min past my pick up time stated she was getting breakfast.Samantha K.

The APP is confusing garbage. The people answering the phone do not solve problems. They keep sending customers back to the APP, which is GARBAGE. If you need three contacts to rent the truck then ask for that information when the truck is being reserved. Not when I am in the parking lot at 8AM with two guys being paid $100/Hr.Justin P.

They did not do an pick up inspection of the U-Haul. When I got the U-Haul it was not clean uhaul standards and after from Va to Arkansas traveling it started raining and the drivers side windshield wiper was desecrated made it unsafe to travel the last leg. Called the U-Haul number and it took an hour an half to call me back and I made it to my location. Not happy at all with this rental.Deborah V.

I needed to change my drop off date and could not reach them. They did not answer their phone for days. I got to their facility and went in and could hear them talking in the back, but they did not respond when I called out to them loudly several times. I had to disconnect the trailer without help and it nearly rolled down their steep parking lot. I had to trip the emergency brake on the trailer to keep it from rolling away. I will never use this place again.Warren J.

I drove this uhaul a total of 45 miles, verified on my receipt. I took it to the gas station across the street from the return site. The uhaul took 7.3 gallons of gas at $22 and change. The gas gauge showed full however 7.3 gallons of gas equates to roughly 6 miles to the gallon. Was unable to reach agent to go over this. Either the gas guage is rigged but something funny going on here.LYNDA W.

Drop off was extremely easy. Took a total of about 10 minutes to include back the trailer into a slot.KENNETH F.
The truck is extremely dirty when we picked it up. They also didn't have the dolly that I paid to use. I was offered a $20 discount which I have not seen yet. When returning the truck through the app, it asked if the truck was dirty.. I selected â€œyes.â€ Then at the end was charged an additional $25 cleaning fee when the mess was in fact not from me. As for Z Auto and Hill Top at zion worked to get get me what I needed when the Uhaul website let me down. David at Hill Top saw my reservations but had none on site. So he found me a an auto transport at Z Auto. Then I got a phone call at 2:30 asking if I was going to pick up my reservations reserved for 1:30 in a location that I no clue of. Uhaul needs to work on the web site bad because my reservations was for a 10am pickup at Zions Cross roads Va with Hill Top. U haul needs to help support its team better. As for Z Auto and Hill Top thank you so much helping me get out of a jam.MICHAEL A.

The 10 foot truck I reserved on April 5th for pickup in Charlottesville on May 17 was not available anywhere in Charlottesville. What is the point of a reservation?? To get a 10 foot truck I had to drive to another city 20 miles away. A bigger truck would not fit in the crowded alley near the university where we needed to load up. I was told by Ann at the UHaul 800 number that I could use my phone to pick up my 10 foot truck at 8:00 a.m. on Monday May 17 in Ruckersville. I drove all the way from Charlottesville VA to a Ruckersville VA. to be there at 8:00 a.m. but when we tried to use the app, we were told that that truck not eligible for remote pickup. Wasted two hours on a busy moving day because of faulty information by UHaul. Extremely upsetting and would not trust you with my move again.ELANA W.

This is the third time renting a u haul trailer. Each time, there was something wrong with the trailer. The first time, I had to fix one of the running lights. The second time, the trailer had a bad wheel - - it was rusty and the valve stem was leaking air. The third time, another bad running light and a bolt that held the body to the tongue was missing. I had the fix that before the trip. It seems there should be some sort of periodic inspections of these trailers by somebody who knows these things.WILLIAM S.
