Driver's side door very difficult to close properly. Had to be slammed VERY hard by a strong man. Safety Issue! Truck was dirty inside and out especially in cargo attic area. Cargo floor so dirty mattress cover sheet probably ruined with stains. Site said I should have inspected equipment and complained at checkout. That is THEIR job NOT mine!JOHN J W.

The front desk lady was basically like watching paint dry. She had literally no personality whats so ever. I know early mornings are hard for some. So i wasn't expecting extreme chipperness. But she could have at least had an approachable energy. The truck was old and the check engine light was on. Steering was loose as well. It rained this day. I had to move so i had to just take it. But it was scary to drive. I drive oversized vehicles for Amazon. And all the vehicles i drive for work are newer and ride great. This was a truck from 1983.Anthony F.

The customer service person at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The place is lit up like a Christmas tree. Very safe feel and just an excellent place to do business! I go there all the time to rent a cube van at least four or five times a month I wouldn't go anywhere else...MARK G.

The bait and switch in pricing is outrageous. The $19.95/day to $109 without explanation is entirely inappropriate. Once you put mileage in upon Mobil pickup you aren't able to opt out of CDW, and mileage cost increases. Three emails were sent to the email provided for a explanation and none received. We had to go to in-person to the location to understand how the price got to its final amount. The pricing scheme prays on desperation once someone actually needs the vehicle. At that point, you'll say â€œyesâ€ to anything because you made plans to move. HiRay Q.

This location did a great job fixing a problem from the 10425-10431 and, 10435 Reisterstown Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117 location. Service was absolutely horrible, I arrived on Saturday morning at the Reisterstown Road location to pick up the truck that I had made a guaranteed reservation for, only to have to stand outside for 15 minutes because the place wasn't open, then to be told that they didn't have a truck for me. Horrible customer service by the young man Albert who complained that he wasn't even scheduled to work and that we (the 3 customers who were waiting would have to find someplace else). HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVCE by the man.Carolyn L.

I would like the mileage to already be annotated in the rental contract I would like to get my money back immediately as opposed to having to wait for it I would like for the truck to already have gas in it One representative said she was not feeling well and she didn't have a mask on. I've rented a 10-ft Uhaul truck TWICE in the past 10 days and it's always a JOY to work with Frederick and his Staff. Both Ms. Crystal and Ms. Ashley are TOP SHELF Representatives. Ms. Crystal is Always looking out for us. Thank-You. Why bother to offer insurance if you will charge for damages anyway? I would not recommend UHaul again despite the equipment quality and the location because it's low morals to try and screw your customer for more money and hope they don't notice.Robert G.

Rented blankets- did not know they had to be folded after use or I would be charged 25.00. Was told there was a sticker in the van I should have read. Perhaps good customer service would be to let the customer know when handing them the blankets that folding was required after use. I was too busy filling gas tank and making sure van was clean after use to notice a sticker in the van. Very disappointed with customer service, particularly when attitude when I called - no return call after I emailed and called first time- was â€œtoo badâ€. Unfortunate rating since the van was good and it was available and convenient.Debra K.

Do not advertise pickup locations when they're not even valid locations. I was to receive a call the day before I was supposed to pick up the truck in Eldersburg, MD. I never received that call. I went online to check the status of my order and noticed the changed my pickup location to the Red Run Blvd address. I called Uhaul and they informed me that the Eldersburg location that I requested was not even a valid location for one way rentals. I would have really been pissed if I would have showed up there to pick up the truck and found out I had to go to another location 25 minutes away. The rest of the process was uneventful.Larry D.

Definitely not well maintained. The truck they rented to me was horrible. The passenger side rearview mirror became loose and would not stay in place. It's very hard to drive a box truck on the highway (changing lanes) with one mirror or to back up. I felt I was provided an unsafe vehicle.I called the rental location and they said I could stop in a nearby Uhaul dealer. They did tell me the mirror just needed tightened. Luckily I had my toolbox with me and tighted it - unfortunately while dirive back it got loose again. When I went to drop off the truck I asked for a discount (reduce the cost per mile) but they said they could not take anything off the price. I would not want anyone else to have to deal with this issue. The trucks alignment was way off and it got maybe 10 miles per gallon (this is a problem because you also had to refill the gas).Joseph Y.
