Paula S.I will never use U Haul again. I drove the truck home, which was no more than 4 miles, and realized one of the rear tires had a flat tire, so I took it back to the store. I informed Alex Carr that the truck had a flat tire and he informed me that they didn't have any replacement trucks. I asked him if they could fix the tire and this guy handed me a number and told me to call it, and that someone could fix it. Are you kidding me? What happened to customer service? Then the kid grabbed the mileage and charged my credit card $37. You rented me a truck with a flat tire and didn't even try to make any accommodations whatsoever. Alex works at the U Haul off Bel Air South Parkway, the self storage building next to the Burger King. He was unprofessional, not friendly, and clearly knows nothing about customer service. Someone needs to train this kid or fire him. This was a terrible experience and Alex had the worst attitude. I will never use U Haul again because of this experience!

THOMAS R.Reduce the cost of the rental, A charge of $1.29 per mile is outrages especially if you still have to pay for gas as well. I will certainly consider other options other than U-Haul in the future. One round trip, 337 miles, cost $563.00!
EDWARD C.Truck was reserved for 24/7 online pickup but wasn't able to be done that way. Fortunately the office was opening so I was able to pickup the truck. The rear door was frozen shut and then the reserved dolly was not in the truck. Upon questioning the pickup location they stated they didn't have any of the reserved dolly and that the uhaul reservation system doesn't actually know what each rental location has in the way of accessories. Although the cost of the dolly was refunded without any problems this still created a significant challenge with the move in progress.

DONNA B.The mobile check in process is very bad. I will never use this again. I received an e-mail to download my drivers license and info prior to the rental day. I did everything that was asked and had to do it again on the mobile check in. The combination lock used to lock the cargo door was a joke. The combination provided didn't work. Luckily the lock wasn't much. The next time I need a truck rental I will not be using U-Haul if I can't walk into the store for the rental. Also, I did a online reservation at the Fallston location for a 20' truck and everything was accepted. I later received an e-mail saying that I need to go to the Emmerton location for a 20' truck. because Fallston doesn't have 20' trucks. Why wasn't I prompted to do this when I was doing my reservation. I rent trucks a couple of times a year. Very disappointed.
Robert S.Took 30 min to get the truck picked up with the app then 1 dolly I ordered was mission. Then it took over an hour to check it back in.. Kept prompting me over and over to take pics of mileage and fuel. After 30 min on hold with customer service I finally gave up and put the key through the slot and left.. It was a horrible experience. Truck was banged up, the power 12v outlet didn't work and the truck did not staying its lane very well. Never had a truck before with 129,000 miles from UHaul...

JOHN F.I used to rent home depot van a lot but they are all unavailable, glad I tried uhaul Van, so easy to rent using smart phone, staff on site are friendly and helpful, the van is new and smells good and clean and the price for 4 hrs with mileage I put is even cheaper than using homedepot van for 4 hrs.. Highly recommended and will use the service from now on.
CHRISTOPHER A.Danny DePriest was excellent. I thought every staff was the same, but it is not. I went to the one in Emmorton Park , Edgewood branch before going to the Belair branch. Belair branch is way better and bigger and customer focused.

Robert F.The issue I have is that we rented a hand cart on the Uhaul website and it was needed for our move. When we went to pick up the truck we were told they did not have hand trucks and rarely do. We were told this happens all the time. I would think someone managing this location could read the reservations and contact people that had asked for a hand cart and tell them they do not have them. Also the padlock on the back gate was broken. So we had to track down a hand cart and buy a lock for the truck. Wasted a few hours due to that. Not good when you are paying by the hour! If the site does not have supplies it should not be available on your website. That is the whole point of renting a truck and equipment to move yourself!
