I told her about the blown tire and also found out the when the thread blew, it hit the exhaust pipe up into the plastic rear siding and proceeded to melt the plastic. My brother worked for State Farm and said that was not safe, so he cut the siding away and was able to pull the exhaust back down. The representative was having a problem processing my transaction because it was trying to charge me for the plastic siding which wasn't my fault. Anyway, the representative said she would take care of it and sent me on my way. And she did. Great customer service!!!

ashlee K.I rented from my storage place 2995 a day. Then found out it was 99 cents a mile. Way too much I knew gas but I used it for three hours. Drove 32 total miles and it cost me nearly 80$$$. Wow!! I've done this before and never paid that much. My bad for assuming it's all the same. That 99 a mile should be documented big enough to see not in small print

jerry F.I was not given a contract as I was told that they would be closed. The 24/7 was not active and created lots of problems. The online system is the biggest problem, as it was not easy to navigate. The program has a few issues that need to be worked out. I would recommend another company than to use the myuhaul.com again in it's current format!

andy D.Customer service poor. I reserved online. I added the basic insurance at $14.00. When I arrived the sales person claimed I added the $29.00 insurance. I showed the person my reservation, printed from the reservation site. The person claimed "there was nothing she could do about it". I had to pay the additional insurance. Then, she expected me to sign the vehicle acceptance, without inspecting the truck myself.

Jerry P.On long hauls it would be very helpful to have "cruise control". Maintaining foot pressure to keep speed to recommended speed creates a very sore and tired foot. Also, for figuring out the "mileage allowed", do not use roads that lack gas stations every fifty miles.

ROD A.The truck/moving van drove well and was well-suited for our purposes. The front of the truck was loaded with bugs and had not been washed. The windshield and lights were covered with bugs. I had to take it straight to a gas station and wash the front windshield and headlights. Otherwise in good condition and drove well.

Roger B.Might consider a deodorizing air freshener for trucks that have heavy smell of cigarette smoke. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to get the smell out, but I only used the truck for a few hours and had to open the windows to keep the air fresh. Other than that, no complaints.

Elizabeth S.The unit rented was a 10' box GMC truck with 7/8 of a tank of gas. They told me it would get about 8 MPG, so I calculated refill amount based on mileage traveled. The truck must actually get around 12 MPG, and as a result the gas tank was full when returned which cost me about $25 more than it should have.
James B.The location that I chose on the computer wasn't the location I had to pick the truck up from. Why ask where I'd like to pick it up if I really don't have a choice? Windshield looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time/ I would really have liked if it had cruise control too.
