I told the salesperson that I did not want the insurance. I was charged for the insurance anyway. Might want to remind them the customer should have a choice. I have AAA coverage which of course also covers any rentals, including trailers.

They did not come out and inspect the truck. Took advantage of my girlfriend by saying the tank was full of fuel when it clearly was not. I I put 9 gallons of fuel to drive 8 miles

When ordering the truck we ordered an appliance dolly and a dozen moving blankets which were not in the truck when we picked it up at 7 am. The store was closed at the time so we could not get our equipment for our move. It was a bit frustrating. Moving days are already stressful, this added that much more stress. They credited our bill which was good.

Staff didn't wear face covering correctly. Didn't cover nose, and took off the covering while in the vehicle. Vehicle has trash inside.

I think the only thing that can be improved in that specific location would be to have a more conomy than perhaps a sprinter van or something that's a little bit better fuel economy for the small jobs the run around town type of jobs that may be necessary for small projects homeowners honey do list things

The pick up process was extremely long. Longer than my last 4 U-Haul rentals combined. They have a mobile device (possibility there own person Mobile phone) Which is lagging, crashing and not operating. Then they have to use the computer while using the mobile device. What's the point of the mobile device?

The staff was great - above & beyond helpful. Not very experienced with loading the 2-wheel dolly. Dolly lights did not work - damage to one tire.

Location changed by reservation from 7:30am to 8:00am WITHOUT notifying me, saying that they do that for all reservations to align with their store's open time. However, I had movers scheduled at my house at 8:30am, and this became a problem. Additionally, I had already checked-in online, but when they changed the reservation, I had to waste more time checking-in again with my driver's license and credit card. The computer showed the gas gauge as being more full than it really was, so I had to get a manager to fix it. And then the truck wasn't cleaned, so I had to wait for them to do that as well. At the VERY minimum, I would have appreciated a phone call about the change of reservation time since I was paying movers by the hour!

Make sure they clean the cab and the bed of the truck of anything left behind. Also review they process of holding payment. You charge my Dept card 156.00 which is still pending after 2 weeks needs to be reversed and credited back. The total once returned was 203.00 which cleared. I've email the store and heard nothing.

There are a lot of steps to the app based rental pick up and return, maybe that could be simplified. This locations key return box was difficult to find. The app said it would be near the main entrance, I finally found it in a dark corner at the other end of the building. Not the main entrance.

Unclear checkout inside the store with someone who didn't have a store uniform or name badge on. She had trouble with the computer. The truck only had 1/8 tank and she told me to drop it off with an 1/8 of a tank which I did. Then I got charged $23 at the drop off for not bringing it back with a 1/4 tank! The truck smelled like smoke.

I was over over charged. Only rented for one day and returned the truck in 4 hours and I got overcharged. I called the next day when I saw the amount on my cc statement as pending and the onsite rep in Woodland said don't worry it'll revert to the correct charge. That was about 2 months ago and I'm still dealing with trying to get a credit.

I left a very expensive camera in the glove box. You can imagine the sheer panic I experienced when I realized what I had done. The staff at the Woodland Home Center reassured me that it would be there while I sent a co-worker to retrieve it. In addition to their courteous demeanor while going through the rental process, I really appreciate their honesty and integrity in safely returning my camera to me. Thanks so much!!

Our truck was given to us with no gas cap. Luckily we decided to fill the truck from 3/4 to full before we left town and noticed no gas cap. We called the location and they had us come by and put on a cap for us. All turned out OK but might not have been so great if we had not noticed the missing cap before we left town

Customer service was outstanding! The equipment was in good condition except for the left rear light. The left rear turn signal and brake was not working. We could not determine if it was the wiring harness, bulb, or the light unit. All other lights were working.

I rent uhaul frequently and always satisfied with the service, but this time I was charged $40 for cleaning because the tires kicked up mud from the road construction right outside the store and it was raining as well.

The truck we got was just kind of given to us as the last customer left. There was a crack on the windshield that wasn't x'd with the sticker. Also we overestimated how much gas we'd need and returned it way over... a thank you or refund would've been nice.

Uhaul has a terrible software interface and it took almost an hour for them to check us out. The employees were apologetic and worked really hard to work around the system bugs so that we could pick up our reservation. It's deplorable that you invest so little in your digital system and make it so hard on your employees and customers. Do better, corporate.

I went to pick up my truck they had it for the wrong day. The nice guy had just learned how to do rentals. I questioned why my bill was different from the quote he could not get I to match. By the time I got the keys he gave them to me and left. As I drove away I noticed that the tank was only filled at 1/4 tank but the contact said 3/8 another error.

The on line reservation process is bad. I reserved (weeks in advance) a 20' truck to be picked up in Davis, CA. I was flying in and had 2 days to get job done. The day before my arrival I get an email from U-haul telling me the truck would be in a town ~30 miles away and would not be available till the afternoon. After several calls, I had to settle for a 15' truck in Woodland. And take an extra Uber ride to get it.
