Being that the pick up was in a storage facility business, having some sort of U-Haul marking would be helpful. Didn't know where to go and asked someone who was getting in their rental truck.

So glad there was person to person on sight service available for the return. We old timers aren't very good at using apps and on line transactions.
JOHN PERKEYBoth the truck & service was fine. However, I’m not sure if I would recommend U-Haul. I took a picture of the fuel gauge before I left the lot and once again when I returned the truck. I drove the truck 38 miles and I did put in a couple gallons of gas. I received a final bill saying that they put in 3 gallons of gas. I’m supposed to be contacted in 3 days to resolve this issue even though I forwarded the pictures when I questioned the bill. Hopefully, this gets corrected.

georgia roselliThe staff made the experience an enjoyable one even though there was only one 15 foot truck left in the lot. Luckily we needed the larger vehicle. We were also glad it wasn’t night time, because one of the tail lights on the U-Haul we rented was out, and i was worried people wouldn’t see that we were preparing to stop. So, I drove behind the U-Haul with my own vehicle to make sure it was a little bit safer.
Manji AldermanHad to be transfered to 2 different locations bc the 1st location didn't have the truck we booked online. The 2nd location the lady was rude and wanted to argue bc I asked a question about the extra miles I would be charged being it was further from my destination. I was told neither her or uhaul good do anything about it. After I told her I'd call uhaul she told me she wasn't helping me any further....even though my reservation was with her gas station. So then I was transferred yet again to my 3 store and finally got the truck 1.5 hrs later. Not a way to start off moving day!

gerald BOCKMILLERI needed a rental and scheduled in Medina Ohio! I was then told I had to pick it up in strongsville. They said I had to bring it back to strongsville! I could not drop off in Athens! However in looking at uhaul estimates it would have been 178! Athens is 196 miles from medina to Athens! I bought insurance so I did not have to worry! Instead I am being charged 379! I called and spoke to someone! She would not listen to me, pretended she could not hear me after I requested to speak to a manager, I could hear her breathing! She then came back on I requested a manager, then after a long wait I was hung up on and no manager! My rental is under 330-715-6870! Please have someone call me back as this rate is nothing as I was quoted! Also it was to be keyless, and had to sign a whole different contract at the place where I picked it up! They then said it was a one day and we had to have it back at location by next morning! Please call me 330-715-6870! I feel as if I was hyjacked by uhaul

DARLENE CAVETTThe truck smelled like cigarettes and sweat - maybe deodorize it or put air fresheners in it? Windshield could have been cleaner - I spent a few extra minutes cleaning that up inside and out when I filled the tank. Aside from that, the truck ran fine and worked well. Your answer options for "was the equipment clean and well maintained?" should have more than 'yes' and 'no'......maybe an in between like 'sort of'.

TIMOTHY LEWANDOWSKIDo a walk around the vehicle with the customer. We did our own and discovered tail light broken. Also tell the customer the starting mileage! We did a key drop off and the young lady had no access to get that key! And would of been unable to close out the rental if we had not taken a picture of our ending mileage. That should not be necessary!
