The back of the van had not been cleaned prior to my pick up. There was pet (cat) hair [and smell] in the cab and the back section. I had to put a sheet over the passenger seat so it didn't get all over my daughter (who is allergic to cats). If there had been time, I would have taken the van back and gotten another one. Because this is all done via your phone, this underground location makes it VERY difficult to get a cell signal. If we are to continue to only be able to rent on our phones, better cell service or WiFi needs to be arrangedJOHN G.

Floors were muddy in front and messy in back. I had to wipe down the cab and dash, cleaning out refuse from driver side slots. A lot of pet hair all over cloth seats. Couldn't get it off. Had to sweep out the back before loading. Before I returned can, I wiped down with Clorox wipes and swept out the back. I recommend you switch to leather seats so key hair can be cleaned upDIANE L.

Location was hard to find with GPS. Was not aware building was underground below the local Drug Mart. Also, I was not aware pictures needed to be taken before dropping the keys in the lock box after hours. Knowing would have been helpful so I could accurately give milage, etc. Overall great service and experience!DANI F.
Awful. Location horrible. Owner lies. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER RENTING A TRUCK IN MY LIFE. DONE SO MANY TIMES. BIG FAT JOKE. NOT WIRTH THE gas just finding the place. Nor is it worth the potential accident you can get only turning around to find it. Just to be greeted by a non smiling Chris who lies. And it is absurd. She is put out to help you. Totally put out. The "virtual pick up" wasn't clear at the time of booking. The office was supposed to be open when I got there (before 5pm), but wasn't. Even when I phoned the office number no one answered.Simon E.

Each time, at rental and post rental, that I told by the on-duty employee different costs for the rental and the mileage charge. She kept confusing weekend and week day charges. The diver cab was dirty, discarded food wrappers, empty bottles of soda on floor and used Covit surgical masks on the dash board. The driver and passenger windows were dirty, as were the mirrors, to the point I could not see out the windows or use the mirrors until I stopped and cleaned them (Safety Issue). Finally, half way back to my starting point a message appeared on the console-"Oil Change is needed." I was not sure if I should continue driving, but due to fact it was 10:00PM I continued hoping I got to my destination before the engine seized up.Patrick F.

The vehicle was no clean..a couple of article of clothing was left and it had a very bad smell..I notified the attendant and she apologized..there was another truck there at this time but she said she couldn't rent it to me because it was reserved..I felt she should have offered that truck to me and cleaned the one she first gave me and gave that one to the reserved customer..Robert P.
Very disappointed that I was told vehicle was on FULL so I need to return it that way----I put 5 gallons of gas in the van but only drove it 13 miles...I should have only put a gallon of gas in----disappointed U-Haul did not reimburse me 10 dollars...I use U-haul all the time... Don't do online check in. Awful experience. Took an hour to get truck. On hold for 20 mins trying to contact someone about truck condition. Need to upload photos, was difficult and website was extremely slow and required verification over and over. Stressful and annoying. Won't do it again. Ever.Kate S.

When I couldn't get your app to work after many tries with and without help from tech support, the girl I talked to on the phone said she would credit me $50 towards the rental for all the trouble I had. When I turned the truck in and when I received the final bill, there was no credit and I was never told what happened to it.Barry O.

Better explanation of the location. It is practically underground and hard to find. There are no signs to indicate where it is. The online pick up process is not very smooth. It took almost an hour to get our truck.! It was very disappointing because we paid for 4 hours and only got about 3 hours use. Apparently my drivers license picture wasn't very clear but it took 20 min for this to be communicated to me . I don't recommend the online pick up!Lisa S.

I had 3 issues with my experience at U-Haul. 1. The gas tank was at 7/8 full. If I didn't look I would have been out the money to fill it up all the way. 2. We had to park in a garage that was leaking lime. It took me 2 hours on Saturday to clean it off my car. 3. We had the car until 3:00. The U-Haul person texted me to see if I could have it back by 2:00 because she had another person who wanted to rent the van. I busted my butt to get the van back by 2:00. When I asked for a discount she texted back Ha Ha nice try. I would appreciate some compensation for this frustrating and unpleasant experience. If you need to call me my number is 440-655-8201. Kris was wonderful. The van was perfect, easy to drive. Got a Dollie but it wasn't necessary. I had no problem putting packages and furniture in. The side door step was very helpful. I parked in security in the underground area, and did have some lime . Came right off with dawn dish soap. Thanks for everything.leslee R.

I was overcharged 7 miles I took the van with 2887 miles. But paperwork was written up that I took it with 2880. Find it kind of odd also took a lot more to fill the gas tank because of it.Anthony T.
Van hadn't been cleaned after last rental - dirty inside. Not the fault of Westlake Infdor Storage, but extended construction means limited access to the area.Susan B.
The app was very sluggish and was frustrating to use. Rep did not respond quickly and did not appreciate when she asked me to remove articles of clothing and multiple pictures. I am shy in nature and asking this of me made me uncomfortable. I feel like I wouldn't have been subjected to this strange experience if I I had checked in at the desk in person. The cargo van sucked up way to much gas. I am so glad I only went 23 miles. When I hit the gas because traffic was coming I could see the gas needle go down. So I tried it again same thing. I would not recommend this vhicale to anyone.Robert V.
