There was no dolly in my truck but i was charged for renting one. Thought the truck was clean until i was driving and a half empty water bottle rolled under my driving foot.
MARGARET HCourteous service, truck was ready on time. Only issue previous renter left virtually no petrol in truck.

Abdul WHad truck booked for 8am. Store didn't open until 820am. Stores computer did not work. I could not submit photos for damages on the truck before I had to take it. (I took photos for my own record, minor scrapes back up light cover missing) Drop off location was on a semi busy small back street making it a fairly dangerous situation trying to submit drop off photos. Interior of truck was mediocre condition. Dust and food crumbs.. Would like a better pick up situation to ensure the new customers aren't on the hook for previous mess or scrapes.
Nicholas PWhere do I start. My first experience with Uhaul. Being that I stopped by 1 day early at this location just to make sure there would be no issues only to find no one there and a frustrated customer trying to get his truck that had requested counter service like I had. I phoned the location to make sure this would not happen to me and he (Terry) stated I should come by in the morning at 9:00 as he is only there in the mornings instead of my scheduled time of 3:00pm. I picked up my truck at 9:00 and the previous user had not cleaned it so it was full of cedar tree material and the floor was muddy. The requested dozen blankets only numbered 7 and were strewn around the inside of the truck and many were wet. Needless to say I had to clean the inside of that truck before using it including mopping the floor, and dry all the blankets. Now to top it all off I got charged an extra day as my scheduled return time which was 3:00pm on the 20th (dropped off at 1:30 in a key drop box) but the invoice stated I dropped it off at 8:00am on the 21st. Called Terry and still no call back or refund.
George DI received the truck with 1/2 of tank, refueled more than I used and I was still charged 9 liters. This procedure is not very clear, I felt overcharged.
Bianca MNo one there, had to get instructions to open the rear door, find keys myself. I appreciate that he trusted me to go into his business, but I took the truck with no paperwork,no contract. The truck had not been cleaned. Again, end result was satisfying but it seemed like the business was a hobby, not something taken seriously

Norm MImprove the app. I had made all of the arrangements including getting the drivers license of the person picking up the truck on our behalf and it did not go smoothly. You need to add another layer to the On-line Pick-up 24/7 truck share app for those companies and non profits where one person at the company pays for the truck and a different person picks up the truck - the APP was not organized to do that. I even called to confirm the situation the week before to see if there was anything else I had to do to ensure a smooth pick up. We were very lucky we did not miss our ferry - as we had 100 girl guides to pick luggage up for camp. I would not recommend using the 24/7 truck share program for a group booking. Instead i would spend the extra time to rent from an in person U-Haul location.
Lianna HTerry is a great guy, no problems with sign up and very clean and tidy truck.
joey mKeys in the front and truck is parked around the block in the back which was very inconvenient. I had to call in twice as we couldn't find the truck and then it wasn't "available" to be self checked out when the location was closed. Really terrible experience and it delayed our rental by an hour.
Michael NOur truck was leaking fluid and ruined our driveway. We were given a replacement but still had to pay for the truck which is absolutely ridiculous. It delayed our move by 4 hours and there is irreplaceable damage done to my driveway.
Jessica CI really needed a truck . It's very convenient . We rented truck to get things done please keep in mind we had no ramp would have helped a great deal but it is what is my suggestion is to let renters know what to exspect when leasing overall Everything else is is great .

Syed ZThe front door had no indication this was a uhaul location. Windows completely covered up grimy looking the store was dirty and difficult to tell if we were in the right place. Dark . Male came out of back room carrying a lap top and said couldn't get access to uhaul site. Didn't come out to show us where the vehicle was Told us in the store that the fan belt likely needed to be changed. I voiced my concern about it being maintained well enough to drive on the coquillhalla and his response was , it made it from Alberta I'm sure it will be fine. The gas tank was not full. In fact only ¼ tank of gas. Did not inspect vehicle with us. I would have been scared to go in there by myself
Linda HThe actual off hours receiving the vehicle was a problem. There should be a suggestion to start the process before you get to the vehicle. I booked for very early in the AM and did not realize I needed two forms of additional authentication. I had to have my friend wake up to be my reference. I was not aware I should have my passport or lease agreement available for authentication. This should have been done at the time the rental was booked. The vehicle also had an active engine light warning and tire sensor light. I drove it and nothing happened but it was a concern for the whole trip

Aakriti DThe gentleman who processed my rental was on time, quick and very nice to deal with. He warned me that the van I was renting had two dash warning lights, that I could ignore the Check Engine light & TPMS light, and how to "OK" and remove the TPMS warning. But still, it was disconcerting to have them come on whenever the van was started; especially when we had a 150kM round trip ahead of us - will we suffer a breakdown? Fortunately, all went smoothly as promised and ignoring the lights proved to be OK. U-Haul, Please FIX those dash lights-issues. Otherwise, the check-in and check-out went very smoothly. The email Receipts are well documented and the rental proved more economical than expected, a bonus. So, despite what I describe above, I DO recommend this rental location.
Wesley YThe process to get the vehicle is extremely challenging and lengthy. The app does not work well and several calls to customer service were needed. For this reason I would look elsewhere to rent when needed. However customer service, on the most part was exceptional.
Michelle TI picked up my truck on Thursday. Told the man I wanted to paid debt and not on my credit card. I went Friday to drop off the truck and he wasn't there. I called him and he said he would be back in the afternoon and he would call me. Closing time approached and no call. I called a few times and there was no answer I called u haul directly and explained that I wanted to pay debit and not my cc. But that the shop was not there working business hours. U haul put my reservation on hold so I could go in next day to pay with my debit card. I called the shop and he was there. But he said the ticket was closed. I called u hail back and explain and inquired about the ticket. They confirmed that it was on hold and for me to call when I got to the shop to talk to him. They chatted and got it sorted. The shop refused debit and said I could only pay via cash or credit card. He said that he didn't have a debit machine. I also noticed that he has a white debit terminal on his counter. I explained that I didn't have cash and I had mentioned paying via debit the day I picked it up. If the shop did not have debit. And a customer is saying they wanted that method of payment don't you think one would mention that it was cash only? Not to mention I had mentioned it more than once and that I did not want my credit card charged!!! Not to mention that the truck is in terrible condition and needs to be seen by a mechanic. If you have shops like this representing you I would have a look at the practice.
Samantha OThe first van that I rented was disgustingly dirty and had to come back and exchange it for a pick up truck and I was charged all over again . I'm not impressed at least the insurance coverage could've been transferred to the other vehicle instead of me paying a ridiculous amount of money again.
Maureen MLock box was tricky to open. Van was filthy, the cargo area covered in dirt and leaves, old carpet remnant was left behind by former client I suppose, it was just nasty. The tire pressure light and engine light were on the whole time, the agent told us to just disregard them. The front end was smashed up where it had been in an accident.

Robert Sowner of shop delayed me by 45 minutes by not responding to his cellphone and being away from the desk. failed to communicate an upcharge from .,69 cents/km to 1.09/km. utterly ridiculous.
Ethan TI was charged an unexpected coverage fee of $16. I was not told about the coverage fee that is for insurance. If I was told, I would have waived it since my credit card has insurance. I would have saved $16.00.
richard wMake note that the trucks are stored at the rear and the front (where lock boxes with keys are) are only accessible from eastbound Lougheed Hwy and you cannot access via westbound from 207th
Sean KJust reporting what the situation is for today's rent: 1. My reservation with a Van, but only a Pick up there. This made me no choice but just take it as friends there waiting for my moving; 2. No people show up in the "U-Haul shop" till 8:30 am, which is a half-hour delay in my pick-up time; 3. During my reservation process, I have chosen No coverage is needed as I have my ICBC's One Day coverage for this rent already (I have the coverage copy if you need to verify it), but the payment receipt comes with the Collison Coverage charge.

Charlene VOwner forget there were 2 confirmed reservations for 8 am. Showed up an hour late and only after customer service woke him up. Didn't apologize for the hour long wait, just stated he was "at stave lake and shouldn't have had reservations as it was an holiday". Only had 1 truck available. A total joke.
Caitlyn LAn interesting experience. Arrived to pick-up truck to location with no one at it. When I called number on door, representitive was almost put off that I was interuppting him during his pool install. Eventually was walked through pickup by Uhaul representitive, and was on my way. A few notes. a) the sun visor above the driver's seat was broken, to the point that on a turn it would swing toward your face loosely and eventually I just rolled my window down to keep it as far away from my face as possible. Because it was so loose, it would eventually swing back inside and impede my sight again. b) The driver's side window crank (handle) is broken. This resulted is trouble opening and closing it which usually isn't a problem but due to the visor it became frustrating. c) The inside of the vehicle smells musty. A combination of use and....? As soon as the door opened you could smell both the stench, and the cheap gas station hanging Black Ice air freshener which indicated that the previous person(s) were aware of the smell. To summarize, it was a decent vehicle, with a few issues. I would also consider checking the brakes as although they work, they feel loose and not as responsive as they ahould be considering the size of the vehicle. My hope is that this feedback will be considered. Rob Fai
Robert Fgas tank was a line below a 1/4 tank so I had to gas up before even getting on my way. End price was nothing that was quoted and was charged to my cc 24 hours later.
Douglas MI have been charged more than double fuel fee and got a refund by contacting the customer service. This is the second time the owner of this branch double charged the fuel fee. Be careful, always calculate the mileage and taking photos of the gauges.
CHUEH Hlocation was awesome your online and customer service team were absolutely terrible, i was told i would receive $50 for the inconvenience they created, didn’t see that either. just lies and making customers wait! would never recommend UHaul to a friend but the staff and location of pickup were amazing

Edgar VI recommend always checking the odometer before you leave and compare the numbers on the contract.I was charged over $120 too much for my mileage. At the location I used they didn't print out a contract and the email didn't come until after I left. Expensive lesson to learn.
Michael DA cleaning with Windex on the inside of the windshield would have been appreciated and a clean floor on the drivers side, too; it had been raining a lot, so floor being slighly muddy was understable.

Prabhjot STruck was not cleaned from previous user. Oil warning indicator light was on also windshield wiper fluid warning light was on.
sirpa bDealer was 45 minutes late for the pick up appointment. Van was not ready for rent: contained previous users cargo. Replacement 10' window roller didnt have knob. Thick layer of dust on surfaces in cab. No impressed. Few uhaul options in that area - no feasible competition to necessitate diligence.
