I was told to go right to the gas station as the truck was on empty. The paperwork said it was a quarter full when it was on empty. Drop off location charged me for a quarter tank of gas plus a filling fee.JACKSON HOWARD T.

I had the 26 ft. truck and found it much rougher riding than expected. I had a relativly light load 900+/- pounds. On "new" concrete highway in Indiana the truck would "hop" hard enough to cause some damage to the load and was VERY uncomfortable. It acted like the airbags were either " dumped" (empty) or were at too much pressure for the load. The vendor location was GREAT, my issue was with the truck.GREGORY LEE W.

Had several problems navigating the express check-in software from a PC, and the pickup location had conflicting information on file that the manager could not resolve using his U-Haul software. Had to call a company rep to correct the mistake, but my "express" check-in lasted a full hour. When I tried to use the mobile app for after-hours return, it would not allow me to access my U-Haul account. I had to call customer service to complete the process. I won't be using online reservation again, just too many bugs in the software. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with the transaction.John K.

We live in Boyne City Mi and had to travel to Waters, Mi to get a van. My husband called to the company and we got a great van, it was brand new with only 16,000 miles on it and it was very good! In fact we were well pleased. Only problem was the people at the company scheduled another comple for the same van at 6pm. We had told them we were driving all the way to Grand Rapids Mi to help clean an apartment of a dear friend who had just died. We would make it back as close to 6pm as we could but, thought it was very neglectful to schedule someone when we need the van for a bit longer. You need someone who knows how to schedule people. Well, we were called by the Waters, Mi office at 4:15 Pm I thin it was to see where we were . My math tells me that was no 6pm call! It was like we were now expected to be back at 4pm!!! The other couple was there waiting for the van! Luckily we just hit Gaylord Mi and were filling up the truck and said we'd be there in a few! We got there and the folks were glad to see us. Use a map and see how far we were from there!!!!!!!!! We drove from Boyne City Mi where we live to Waters Mi, then to grand Rapids our destination then back to Boyne City to drop off furniture we got at the friends home, then back to Gaylord for gas and off to Waters again!!!!!! Do your math.....lot of miles not enough time do you think! ? Like I said the van was great we used only 3/4 of a tank with all that driving! But the office help for the busniess STINKS! I'd fire someone there real fast! Lady in Waters was nice but not helpful with this but, maybe she could do nothing with the head office......JOHN ALLEN V.

All was fine until my Box arrived in Gaylord...then they refused to deliver so they could collect storage. Thank you's. to Houghton Lake for stepping in. Packed my U Box in Fl on 8-12...left Fl on 8-16 Finally received my Box on 9-25 and they picked up my empty box yesterday 10-2. Can't say I could recommend this type of trip or the use of your U Box'sMargaret C.

Arrived at the location and followed the process for the 24/7 Truck. Had issues with the website and could not initially get the process started using my phone. Once it finally let me in, I got all the way to the point where I could open the lock on the lock box and retrieve the key for the truck itself and no key was present. On the phone for 45 minutes trying to get through to a representative for U-haul when a repair man showed up at the location and called the actual employees at home to let them know what was going on. When Karen arrived, she could not find the key for my truck, it was apparently dropped off after hours and did not get staged for my reservation. My reservation was for 9am and I finally rolled off the lot at 12:45pm.Sherri S.

The trucks need to be cleaned. Windshield dirty middle seat dirty with hair and a little mud. I actually had to wipe down everything that I was going to touch because it was visibly dirty and I was very uncomfortable using it. Customer service was GREAT. building was VERY clean and inviting gals at the counter. Just need to clean them trucks. BAD!Jennifer W.
