I want my trip refunded. I was charged $1097 for a two day rental at 142 miles!! The woman at the facility, Alita, was extremely rude and unhelpful. The entire experience was unacceptable. I told her and another associate the odometer was wrong. They said it wouldn't be a problem then they proceed to charge more than $1000 to my bank. I want that money refunded by end of day Tuesday, 3/9. And I want my entire trip refunded. I do not expect to pay a cent for being charged this erroneously.Lindsey V.

The tire monitor system said it needed to be checked when we picked it up that day. I hope it was checked for the next person. Also, the last time we rented from this location we were told we could return it after hours and it would be no problem. This time we returned it after hours and we were billed double the rental charge and insurance.Jason L.
The Representative at location was rude first of all. SECONDLY, I only had the truck an hour...returned it right back, the lady came out with her clipboard..like she was going to inspect the truck at point of return...instead she went back inside...never checked the truck out...i got the truck at 10:30 am...returned at 11:40 am...on a full tank, as I received it...they didn't send me a receipt of checkout until Monday morning...when the truck was returned...during open hours Saturday morning...I kept trying to call the number after I returned the truck, to see what was taking her so long to check me out...seems like she took the phone off the hook, bc I kept getting a busy signal...then receive a bill back Monday morning...with a gas charge of $7.00...when I took a picture of the gas showing full and odometer reading upon return...will never get a uhaul from these people again...called the 1800 uhaul number...several times Saturday morning in regards to her not checking the vehicle back in...and they didn't understand why, she hadn't checked the vehicle in upon arrival as well....Ruberta J.

The van we were given had an idling problem. I put it in park, but left it running so I could get out to open a gate. Before I could pull through, the van died. Then after pulling in, doing the same thing so I could close the gate behind me, it died again. Driving down the road if you take your foot off the accelerator, it idles down like you're braking, but you're not. Just wanted to let someone know.Alicia C.

My original reservation was for a uhaul location in Winterville - when I got there they did not really have the equipment. They edited my location to Monroe which as another 45 minutes of driving.Stephanie R.

When putting gas in to take back to 1/2 tank, the fuel hand would not move and suddenly jumped to full. I contacted them and explained what happened and asked for a fuel credit. They said someone would call but never did. Did not get credit.brenda A.

The people were nice but no one came out to inspect the truck with me. It had a lot of physical damage but they said not to worry about it because I took the insurance coverage. As an owner of an insurance agency, I was shocked to hear their answer. ALSO: The truck didn't have one drop of oil in it.BRUCE W.

Person on site need to trained in dealing with public ! I asked a few simple Questions and was told she was U HAUL and told me I had a ATTITUDE !! I am not that type of PERSON ! I worked with public all my life , in retail sales, law enforcement and owner of a retail store . She was rude and disrespectful !! My original reservation was somehow changed by Uhaul. I received a text the evening before informing me that the truck would be available for pick-up at 5:15 PM the next day. My original pick up time was 1:00 PM. I informed them that this was unacceptable. The manager gave me a number to a person higher-up. Before I could reach him the manager called me to let me know that she had made arrangements and my truck would be available at my originally scheduled time. Excellent service!Mike G.

I went to get the tow dolley. The employee at the location was very unhelpful.She was more concerned with telling me her personal affairs than taking care of the rental.She explained to me how she cut the head off her daughters stuffed animal and how she was up all night playing video games.Im not the least bit interested in her life I was there to rent a Uhaul product.After I returned the tow collect to a different location Uhaul Store Conyers Ga which was 10/15 miles out of my way since the employee told me they no longer had soon for the Dolley at that location I must take it to Conyers the employees there at Conyers location informed me I should have gotten a discount since I was hello g Walton Storage.I called back to Walto. Storage that employee began screaming on the phone telling me that Uhaul is crazy and she was not refunding any money to me. I just don't understand the complete unprofessional manner which this was handled.RONALD E.

The people at this location were very polite and helpful. I am very happy with that experience but not with the U-haul experience. My reservation was at a Loganville site for a 17' truck. In Loganville I was told they had no truck for me. They helped me find a truck but I had to drive to a different location and settle with a smaller truck. With the smaller truck I had to make more trips moving which ended up costing me more money. I also had to go almost immediately to the gas station because it was at 1/4 tank at pickup. Then I had to sweep out the truck before I could even start loading because it was so dirty. I was happy to get a truck, but in an already stressful situation I feel like the experience with u-haul added to the stress and was just very inconvenient overall.Lisa H.

The lady was very rude to my husband. We rented the truck on Friday 07/29/16 for 24 hours. I have confirmation. When they went to pick it up, The lady at emc rental told my husband the people online don't know what their doing and to bring the truck back by 5:30 which was impossible. She then told them to have it back by 8:00 that night because we were going so for. When I called and reserve the truck, the gas mileage was suppose to be .40 a mile. She was trying to charge us.99.The lady on the 800 number quoted me the gas mileage and the 15ft for $19.99 because they didn't have a 10ft truck. Because of the time we had to bring the truck back, We had to spend more money to get another truck to finish moving our furniture from Alabama(which wasn't easy at the last minute). I am so unpleased. I really need to speak with a manager. This is the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. Please contact me at 706-818-1256.nickey L.
My MAJOR complaint was with the changes to my reservation. The truck size & pickup time were changed by U-haul after closing time the night before pickup. It caused major problems with our move. I will look into a different truck rental source in the future.Mike D.

First, they did an excellent job making the reservation. Then Uhaul took it upon themselves to switch the pickup location almost 50 miles away (a one hour drive distance) without discussing it with me beforehand. I went back to the original location 15 minutes mutes after getting that call and they said that was crazy, the truck was sitting there. They also said someone had cancelled my reservation. They then told me I could pick up truck as scheduled originally. I showed up the next day to pick up truck, it was unavailable. I had to take a smaller truck, which meant my wife had to drive a separate vehicle to hold the overflow items which was unplanned and caused us to leave three hours later than planned. The drivers side rear view mirror was partially disabled and could only show the ground about even with the rear bumper, you couldn't see traffic overtaking you. I showed it to the agent when I picked up the truck and he said it couldn't be fixed. I also reported it to the location where I turned it in and they made a safety report on it. So other than getting jerked around on my reservation, having to work around too small a truck at the last minute, and drive a 189 miles not knowing what was behind me in traffic, it was a stressful experience made much worse by your company.HERBERT M.
